😠 Rude and awful customer service. From my personal experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I found out about them through an advert on social media. I attended the free consultation for advice on some teeth whitening and composite bonding…. After a lot of back and forward on what order I wanted to... People often mention Amir,

Rude and awful customer service. From my personal experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I found out about them through an advert on social media. I attended the free consultation for advice on some teeth whitening and composite bonding…. After a lot of back and forward on what order I wanted to do things, I said I’m here for your advice so I’ll do whatever you suggest. He was very abrupt and tried pushing me into starting the work there and then, I had my daughter with me so I said we’ll have to book it for another time. His attitude appeared to be very dissatisfied which I didn’t like. Anyway I thought I would stick with it, so we booked in for a following week day. He advised I get them professionally cleaned, whitened then the bonding. To which I accepted. He even printed me off the dental plan. Two days before my appointment he cancelled it and I was told the only other date soon is on a Sunday afternoon. I moved my weekend around to fit this in as I was keen to get started. I turned up 10 minutes before my appointment, and there was nobody on reception. I waited until 20 past and he opened the door and just abruptly said we’re over running with someone else sit there. There was no phone call or email to update me. I sat in the waiting room for at least another 40-50 minutes, with the joy of listening to the lady having work done gagging and being sick. After the other patient left, he asked me to come in and stand there whilst the nurse finished cleaning up. He then said to me ‘so what are we doing today… the bonding’ To which I replied ‘no you advised me I need to get my teeth cleaned and whitened before I can have the bonding, as this would help with keeping them all the same colour’. He then said ‘well whatever we can do it whatever way you want’ By this point I had heard enough, I said do you have a clue what you’re doing… you’ve cancelled, left me waiting around for nearly 1.5 hours on a Sunday with no update or explanation, to then not even know, or take the time to read what we were there to do. I walked out there and then, the nurse followed me and sincerely apologised. She seemed really nice to be honest, I feel sorry for her having to work for such a person.

From start to end I felt I had a terrible experience. And I felt it was very impersonal. To start none of the staff in the treatment room introduced themselves (the whole time I was there I had no idea who was treating me), considering I was a new patient there was no initial questions regarding any existing issues (such as very sensitive teeth). The procedure itself (check up, xray and cleaning) was very painful, there was no real check to see if I was okay, despite me having clear signs of pain response (clammy, sweaty, etc). The dentist had no bedside manner at all, no conversation and not explaining what was going on. The only way I knew an x-ray was being taken was a bite block in my mouth and a camera next to my face... The dental assistant failed to maintain good hand hygiene by walking in and out with her gloves on and not changing them! Terrible experience overall... especially for private dentistry..will not be going back.

Customer service let them down, I tried to reschedule an appointment due no call back. Then a letter out of the blue. Rescheduled only to be chased because they wanted to offer the appointment to someone else when I never agreed to it. Customer service/reception is rude and abrupt. I’ve received better service from an nhs dentist. Will not recommend. Much better private dentists around.

A positive experience. Amir was professional, caring and excellent at what he does. I have no hesitation in recommending him and I have booked my next appointment. The dental nurse and receptionist were also kind efficient and caring

I’m posting a review because I’m so surprised at some of the recent negative comments. I have only been to Simon a few times, but he’s repaired a chip in my bottom front tooth with amazing skill, and was thoroughly polite and charming throughout. He also refilled an old filling with dexterity and without local anaesthetic. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Simon has been looking after our whole family for years now. I originally came in with a history of bad dental treatments within the NHS. I cant describe his exceptional work and care highly enough. I am pleased my children have such a great dentist. We are very lucky to have him.

This is an excellent dental practice which we have been using for many years. More recently I attended for a check-up and clean and Dr Amir was very caring and efficient. He regularly asked if I was comfortable, gave me the anaesthetics I needed and was reassuring. Like Dr Asimi (Simon) I would be happy be be treated by Dr Amir again.

Went to Ismile after having my 6 year old crying in pain all night. Amir saw my son and found my son had a decaying tooth. Amir and his assistant, Claire, were very reassuring for me as a worrying parent and for my son. They understood when he was getting overwhelmed and gave me space to be near him constantly whist he was having the extraction and was very patient with the screaming after the injections. They did everything they could to help us, including giving us the treatment for free after seeing me get visibly upset after seeing the price of what it would cost to make the pain stop for my baby. Thank you so much Amir and Claire! He’s already feeling so much better and has had nearly no pain since!
