We group of friends stayed at the Villa Legend Bunglow Khandala for 2 days. Noon of Wednesday 8th Jan to morning of Friday 10th Jan. The booking was made well in advance by talking over phone with Vista rooms person at their Andheri (Mumbai) office & visiting the place. We were told to pay the advance to their Care taker & accordingly we paid Rs.25k in cash & balance of Rs.25k by net banking. Our total deal was for Rs.49.6k which included breakfast. When we went to occupy the villa on 8th Jan. we were in for a shock. The care taker to whom we paid money had transferred only Rs.25k to the main co. & apparently quit. The co. person forced us to pay another Rs.15k in cash or to vacate. The co. over phone informed us that the previous Care taker had cheated them & has misappropriated large sum of money. The (missing) Care taker refused to answer to our phone calls, we finaly could contact him through another phone. The CT said that the Co. owes him large sum of money & he would ensure that he would arrange to refund us the money !! In all the bargain we ended up paying Rs.65k for 2 days, with no breakfast The villa/bungalow is superb; the attendant at the place gave personalized service. Absolutely no complaints. Our overall stay @ The Legend was memorable. A caution to any new visitor through Vista Rooms, please get every thing in mail/writing & do not-do not pay any money in cash. Vista Rooms not be relied upon

Quiet, well kept bungalow society. Grand view, overlooking Khandala.

Excellent peaceful place in Khandala to enjoy both with your family and friends. Easy to locate. Good ambience. Good access to market. Roads to hotel are also good.

Best place for a weekend party. Superb view. Enjoy the greenery. Follow the GPS to drive down there and you will not get lost on the winding road. Drive patiently on these narrow and extreme slopes. It’s located very close from Khandala and one does need her/his own vehicle to be here, this being isolated from the main market area. Superb breeze, superb view. Must visit.

Absolutely scenic and a must see if visiting Lonavala. It’s a big walk with steep hills and everything but worth the wait the road up there has many lovely houses that are huge and overlook the serene beauty. Further down there is a village as well.

Peaceful weekend baglows. Good to stay out from city's busy life.
