Loved the food and the service. The place is open air. A few tables with Indian seating are also available. We had a surmai thali and a prawns thali. Both were awesome. You get a choice of Indian bread: Bhakari, Tandalachi Bhakari, Poli (Chapati) etc. Loved the food. The service was fast. A very to the point place.

The exterior of the place is well kept and built. There is a kitchen just at the entrance where fresh good quality food is being prepared by local ladies with very hygienic manner. The interior of the hotel and the dining area is also well built and has a good Maharashtrian theme. The water served and the tables are well kept and there is good flow of fresh air from every side The food is also served well and the qualit of food is top notch Taste of the food is also best and fresh We ordered a vegetarian thali which looks like in the picture below. This place is good for family and kids and groups anytime of the year for all kinds of meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner

Authentic Maharastrian food, with a decent ambience. On the main lonavala road, hence easy to locate. Dishes recommended: Chicken Sukha and the chicken shorba were really nice Do not order: Paneer Koliwada

As you can see in the photos, they served us "UNCOOKED MEAT" in mutton handi. We discarded all mutton pieces and tried asking waitress to help us about it. But she was busy speaking on her phone about her household issues instead of looking after the guests. (Other waiters were running here and there for no reason.) After trying alot, we succeeded to get her attention and she said she'd be replacing the order. After all this she again gets us same UNCOOKED MEAT in mutton handi as our "replacement". Finally we finished roti with gravy, again discarded all pieces and decided to tell their owner about it, Alas he just said "OK" and took no action. Neither he took any action/corrective measures against it, nor he discounted our bill for the raw & inedible dish as we walk out unsatisfied and hungry out of Lonavla's Maval Maratha. (Also this would be my last visit to the place). P. S - Google won't let me upload videos but I have all those to show how rubber like raw the food was.

Authentic Maharashtrian food - that's the best way to describe the food at this place...the taste was really good at this hidden gem, I had ordered prawns thali where I got dry masala prawns, gravy of two types ( was expecting prawns in them as well but alas, it was not there - the only disappoint), two chappatis, kokam juice and thecha...the masala prawns was really awesome and so was the mutton hundi that we also ordered, half a hundi had good enough quantity for 3, ( 4 if you want to adjust).

Excellent service, delicious tempting food, Good vibes. The food here is just amazing. Truly authentic dishes with lovely taste. Thali is a must try, it can be chicken or mutton thali. Service is good and the place is very hygiene!

Service too slow. We were really hungry, they took about 45 mins to serve 3 thalis. Portion was small. Pandhra Rassa was delicious though. But over all slow service ruined the experience. Very few chicken pieces. That should be improved too.

Maval Maratha is located on Pune-Mumbai highway, Lonavala, serving veg and non veg food We ordered bhakri and pithla which tastes very good, akhha masoor is okok.. Masala Tak and solkadhi was spicy. Bhakri making is live at ground floor.Ambience is ok. Parking available at front side of restaurant. Overall ok.

This is one of the best Maharashtrian restaurants I ever came across. I visited here twice, and I loved it both times. They serve authentic Maharashtrian food both veg and nonveg. The upper floor has turf flooring and you are supposed to go there barefoot if you are coming from Mumbai or Pune after a long ride this place helps you relax. I will recommend you try a veg thali here.

Amezing restaurant... sitting arrangement was also impressive...we ordered chicken tanduri and chicken Biryani....tanduri was fabulous but biryani was not that much good in taste... otherwise service was good 😊👍🏻

Amazing place in Lonavala to have food,especially the Thalis. There is plenty of parking and on the main highway. We tried the chicken and egg thali. Also ordered various dishes all of them were tasty. After the thalis the next best dish was the Pithla Bhakri. Bhakris are a must try here as they are prepared on order. Definetly a must visit place.

You won't find any chicken pieces in tambada &pandara rassa 400/- for just a thali with 1- bhakri, tambada & pandara rasaa without chiken peices, rice ,solkadi & gavran chicken which had hardly 4-5 small peices of chicken ! Overpriced as per the quantity! Quality & taste is average! Better options available nearby on same Highway!

Probably one of the best maharastrian food restaurants even visited. The food wad very good and well prepared. They also cook the chapatis on chul(a stove made from mud and put wood as fuel). Very nice place to enjoy.

Very poor quality food chiken n mutton was not fresh,not good for non vegetarian, Ambaince is ok ok.service was very bad, delay in everything. Parking is available.

Very good Maharashtrian good. The thali is tasty but limited: they could have included sol kadhi as all Maharashtrian thalis have . The A la carte dishes have a big quantity so minimum 2-3 people can share. Bhakris were tasty . Pithla was very nice

We visited this place with family for a dinner during our lonavala trip. We ordered chicken thali and egg masala/ curry thali Food is very tasty specially pandhara rassa. They prepare their chapati and bhakri right infront of the restaurant on a charcoal and it immediately grab your attention, however neither chapati nor bhakri is upto the mark. Both disappointed us, remaining food was very tasty and fresh. They need to work upon their chapati and bhakri. I can not comment on the cleanliness as their cooking area was not visible at all. Once a while you can visit good value for money.

I have never seen such a filthy service in any hotel in my entire life, and no one pays attention to your order and when the order arrives, they just pass it on to someone else. I took my family to this hotel 4 days ago because I liked it from the outside, and no one in my whole family ate well.

Nice and delicious food, due to lots of customers delay in serving the food. They also offer a traditional sitting system wherein u can actually sit on the floor/pat and enjoy the food.

We were struggling to find a nice restaurant in Lonavala which is not overrated or overhyped. Last moment we decided to go with Maval maratha and we have no regrets at all as it was absolutely delightful and tasty. 😋 It worth and Paisa vasool. 👌

This hotel is serving amazing and authentic kolhapuri cuisine experience to their customers. I tried their kolhapuri Chicken thali which is more than sufficient for 1 person. The pandhra rassa is too awsome to miss, you can try jowar bhakri with ghee on it. Chicken is good in taste and well cooked. The prices are also not too high for pocket. Hygiene, ambience is very good. The service staff is prompt and polite. It's a must visit hotel in lonavala for kolhapuri cuisine.
