Amazing staff, food and everything you need for a fun filled family or couples holiday. Everybody catered for and no pressure to join in if all you want to do is relax. Room was kept immaculately clean and the gardener even bought fresh flowers to the door!! We had room 136 over looking the pools couldn't fault this holiday at all

I did enjoy my stay in this hotel. I cant find anything to criticise this hotel for. Great location, very close to the beach. You have access to the Internet everywhere in the hotel and at the beach. It has one pool inside and four outside. It is huge, but the rooms need some renovation and renewing. In general, they are good. The staff are friendly and welcoming whenever you go in the hotel. What I like mostly is the food. I stayed in different 4 & 5 stars hotels in Tunisia, and I never enjoyed eating as I did in Magic Africa hotel; the food is really delicious, and you have a variety of options to choose from. I will definitely come back again.

Wonderful place and hardworking staff who couldn't do enough for you. Lots to do, loads of pools catering for all ages. Food - amazing especially the cakes. Be warned it was hot, hotter than usual so avoid in the peak of summer if you don't like the heat.

It is an excellent hotel. I spent there 7 days and also did read the reviews before writing this so i will try to clear some of the topics mentions in other reviews. First of all it is located in a tourist resort, so it is normal for people who spent time there during winter covid months to not see it in its full glory. But from April most of the restaurants and bars were working, even though it was Ramadan. Yes the food could be a bit better, but there was plenty to choose from. Btw the rose wine is quite good for an all-inclusive option. Service is above and beyond, there are friendly, smiling people everywhere. As for entertainment it is basically the same as the restaurants and bars - if you are in the season, you get a ton of options from morning till 2 am. From archery, sailing, paddle board, fitness, beach volleyball, even golf lessons it is up to you. We had the beach view rooms, so they were large and with their own balcony, but a bit cold. As for location, the hotel is in the new part of Hammamet whichakes it closer to the capital and Cartage if you go on organised tours, but have to grab a cab if you want to walk the old Medina in Hammamet or the city itself. (Around 15km from the hotel). Thank you for the stay and keep up the good work.

Definately not a 5 star hotel. We chose this hotel over others and paid over £1000 more, however we did not get the luxury we thought we had paid for. I have stayed at the Manar hotel some years ago and would pick that one over this any day of the week. This was our first family holiday abroad in some time as a family of 5. Some of the staff could not do enough while others looked put out when you asked them for a drink at the bar. Food was average. If you like your alcohol, this is not a holiday for you. Limited choice, to the point where I stuck to water all week. Had to pay extra for rooms when departing (not even a complimentary room). We had a lovely week as a family but would not recommend or return.

Excellent team! Pleasant and relaxing experience with smiling and dedicated staff. Amazing garden and hotel. Special thanks to Karim from the restaurant, who made sure to give an amazing birthday surprise of our choice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fab hotel more than we expected, lots of different pools and areas to relax. Beach well kept with loads of sun beds. Staff all excellent in all areas and always happy to please. The only thing is the gym needs a bit of an update if your into that sort of thing but the aerobics area and instructors are brilliant. Had a fantastic holiday and I would return to this resort without a doubt. Highly recommend.

A very good stay in a bit dated hotel. Great food (selection and taste), crew, services, and so on. We truly felt welcomed and cherished there. Rooms are quite a bit dated: e.g. closet doors were very squeaky, signs of old paint on bathroom tiles and so on, but kept very clean. Pools could be a bit larger, but overall ok. My biggest gripe with this hotel is staff’s inability (or lack of will) to remove broken sun beds that no one would use anyway (broken white ones, and very very old yellow ones). This is definitely not what I expect from a 5* hotel. Additionally, it would be great if hotel at least tried to do something with booking sun beds early in the morning and leaving them empty till 11 am or so. Overall, this is a great hotel and you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel was good. Several pools and the beach meant the people spread out. Great gym for a hotel in terms of the equipment it had. Rooms are a bit dated but they are of a decent size. Guest services led by Hedi is great, always there to help. We had problems with the app on multiple phones, so that was a dud for us. The food was ok and the difference between the buffet and the booking restaurants is almost inexistent, which normally you expect a higher quality or whatever in those specialty restaurants. The weak point of the gastronomy is the drinks, not because of the alcohol quality or non-alcoholic drink quality, but probably lack of training across the board to the bartenders. Each one had its own version of what a coffee with milk was, of what a cocktail was, etc, and normally not great. Otherwise, a great hotel to go with kids. The cleaning of the rooms was good, we stayed at 258 and the cleaning lady was great and very willing to help if we needed towels or whatever. The entertainment was good, I enjoyed it and enjoyed the amphitheater. The best thing I take from this trip, is how warm and nice Tunisians were to us. The human quality at the hotel was TOP NOTCH, and that makes a positive difference. Qudos to the management and hope you can keep on building the great team you have.

Overall a wonderful experience, went in July 2023 for 11 nights with my mum. Kind and friendly team of staff, especially waiters and waitresses in the bars and restaurants. Up on arrival our we were greeted and our suitcase was taken to our room and also collected when we left. In the main restaurant the waiters would greet you and refill glasses often without request. Food and drink: The main issue was food for myself as I am a vegetarian who also has a cow's milk intolerance. If you have an severe allergy or a wheat intolerance I would advise against staying here. There was a supposed designated vegan station in the main restaurant, however it became very clear that the chefs did not understand the true meaning of vegan and the differences between vegetarian, meaning often there were tuna, ham and egg mixed in with dishes. I saw impatient guests cross contaminating dishes by using utensils from meat and fish dishes to plate vegetables and fries. Initially there was also a lack of protein, which is essential for body and muscle maintenance, there were dishes with beans and lentils, but they contained milk or meat. We tried explaining these issues to the chefs, but language barriers- they mainly spoke Arabic and French- made things quite difficult, they could not understand that I needed protein rich sources, such as beans and lentils and said that there were salad and potatoes on offer. Initially with good intentions of helping, they followed me around, piling things onto my plate that I didn't want, which was awkward, as I am also autistic. They made dishes claiming they were milk free yet containing cream and yoghurt. Fortunately, the resort's guest services rep, Hedi was absolutely incredible, he is such a kind and caring man who listened to my concerns and helped communicate them with the chefs, explaining what foods I could not have and what I needed to eat. He also made the chefs remove incorrectly labelled dishes and ensured that at every meal there was at least one dish containing protein suitable for vegan guests. It did take time, and there were frequent labelling issues that had to be addressed throughout my stay, but by day 5 I had a protein for every meal, but it was repetitive. Overall the food on offer to general guests was incredible with many different dishes, salads and stews, soups, pizzas, paella, ragù, even a designated kids station and the deserts were also wonderful, but were not labelled with allergens and ingredients like everything else. There were no clear milk free deserts or treats, which is very dangerous, but, being on holiday I wanted treats so had to eat desserts with milk or go without entirely. I did have reactions to food, with severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea. My mum who does not have any intolerances also had diarrhoea most days and we found other guest did as well. Entertainment: The entertainers were very engaging and enthusiastic, offering plenty of activities during the day, however for myself it was far too hot- 33 degrees Celsius- to partake in non water based activities, such as archery tennis, Zumba and volleyball. The aqua fitness programme and pool games were excellent in the pool, run by energetic and understanding dancers and fitness instructors, enjoyed by adults and children. The evening entertainment programme was excellent on most days, with fun shows, karaoke and themed parties, but starts very late around half 9, 10PM (kids started at 8 30) making it unrealistic to stay and get up early enough in the morning to enjoy your day. The singer and dancers were incredible. Also sun beds were all taken by 6AM in the morning, due to reservations. The are plenty of pools with a designated adults pool, family pool, slides, small kid's pool and activity pool. Plenty of activities for kids and teens during the day and evening and free water sports on the beach. Room and cleaning: The cleaner was excellent, fresh bedding and towels daily, but, the rooms are dated, with some smell at times and the showers flood the bathrooms- you'll need extra towels to soak

As much as I can shout praise about this hotel in regards to the waiters, bar man, maids etc. The hotel itself is amazing however, It is not all good. Word of warning if you go to the spa becareful and don't take anything with you. They removed my mums sunglasses from her head infront of me and never gave them back. Then denied all knowledge of seeing them. The massage is great but be cautious of your belonging as they might go walk abouts. The manager of the spa was as useful as a chocolate tea pot. When telling the hotel reception they just said the spa is not part of them so they cannot do anything.

We have just arrived home after 10 nights and the hotel has positives and negatives. Let’s get the negatives out of the way first…. . Food it’s the same every night, very little variation, if you don’t eat beef or fish you will eat pizza, chips, potatoes and pasta. Hard to get drinks to the table. Pool bar service isn’t great, either no one there or the order is completely wrong. We had a 12 year old with us, too old for the children club her age but not old enough for teens clubs. Games round the pool tend to be adults only so she couldn’t get involved there either. Also didn’t feel this hotel was really geared towards English people. The man who sold the quad bike trips in resort was relentless and actually become a nightmare who I tried to avoid everytime I saw him. If you say we will find you if we are interested then let us find you The entertainment team are what make this holiday…. Jo, Matthew and the man who runs the entertainment (I can’t think of his name) we’re fantastic. They were always welcoming, took time to speak to us and get us involved. Even tried to get our 12 year old involved whenever they could. Their energy is infectious without being over baring. They all deserve recognition and a pay-rise One particular bar man who we simply knew as James dean (worked in the wonder bar) was amazing. Always remembered our order and again really friendly and the guest services gentleman again was very friendly and helpful If we return here it will purely be due to the staff mentioned as they made our trip

Very Good hotel, good animation! Rico, The champion and Mady were always in to make a great atmosphere. The food was good too! We had a great vacation. The bar was always open for good drinks and in The captain bar, there was always something fun to do!

Coming to the end of a 2 week holiday with a small family. Room has everything you need, daily bed and towel change by Sonja who was so so very sweet and kind especially to my very shy daughter. The food is very good, most nights very similar but very tasty and plenty to choose from. The alcohol measures are a bit too strong during the day time but at evenings very enjoyable. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are about 20 minutes walk away but expect lot's of hassle from the vendors who don't always take no for an answer. Staff are very friendly, helpful and wanting to go above and beyond. They have been especially welcoming of my daughter.

Had a family holiday here in April. Staff were fab and helpful. Personally I'm not a fan of all inclusives (appreciate kids love it etc so ideal for them) - the food here did nothing to change my mind about that aspect. All very much the same as everywhere else..breakfast would have to be my favourite mealtime! Nice and clean and beach lovely. Plenty to do for the kids too.

Faulty air conditioning in room and took 4 days to fix but still not cool in the room at night.. Friends room had ant infestation in their room and the hotel tried blaming them for eating in the room when they hadn't.. Asked for extra pillows for the room and took 4 days to sort..

Currently still staying at this hotel and I cannot fault it the rooms are immaculate we have a large room with sea view the views are beautiful. The staff are very hard working polite and will help with anything If they can. Cleaning staff maintain our rooms every day and are very friendly. The hotel grounds us beautiful and clean. The food is all fresh...freshly cooked meats everything from roast lamb/ beef birianis curry's, fish , seafood paella and lots of options on children's tables. I would definitely stay here again I cannot rate the staff enough for everything they do and how hard they work. I'm holidaying with a friend no children but this place is ideal for all

Dishonest cleaning crew, they stole 2200 US dollars and 300 Euros from my room. The way they handle theft is very ridiculous. All what they did was to send someone to search the room although i was sure the money was stolen. Very disappointing experience, as it seems that their personnel are running rackets on their own by stripping guests of their belongings. What a shame…

We have stayed at Magic Life Africana for the last 5 days and have had the best time so far. The staff are very attentive, food is varied and drinks are good. The entertainment is vast, something for everyone. Every single staff member has been amazing. The grounds are also absolutely stunning, what more could you want. We have been on multiple excursions (quad bike, sunset catamaran and the Roman ruins) and all of which have been excellent and great quality. Would definitely recommend and visit again I.

Apart from the pleasant, professional and smiling staff, this is definitely not a five star hotel. The food is not tasty and not varied, it is certainly not a buffet worthy of a 5* or even a 4* hotel. The building and furnitures are poorly maintained. The sofas in the main bar are bland and discolored from use and you can clearly see layers of dust under the stairs. The rooms are good enough but there is nothing there that would normally be in a 5* room plus the bathroom smell of sewage. very disappointed with this hotel which, according to the German female assistant manager, is a five-star club "at Tunisian standards". It certainly does not deserve the 5 * and even less the price they display.

Very big complex, even when busy doesn’t seem very busy due to the size. There are always things to do through the day and evening thanks to a great entertainment team (particularly Madyy). The evening entertainment is better than any other similar hotel, singers and dancers are very talented and put on a great show. Definitely recommend!

The best vacation ever! The most beautiful view from the balcony of the wonderful beach and the sea, which we were pampered by warm and crystal water. Incredible amount of attractions and activities during the day and in the evening, and sometimes even until morning;) All this was possible thanks to the wonderful team of Animators and Artists !!!

We spent ten days at TUI Magic Life and were super surprised how good an all inclusive hotel trip can be. Our kids roamed the hotel on their own and had ample activities. The food/drink quality is amazing, especially for the size of the place and the staff are extremely friendly and responsive. We did some excursions and were advised in a 5 star manner from Özer (TUI) at the hotel (thank you!). On a trip to the Sahara we had the absolute gem of a guide, Elias (also TUI), that was humerous, knowledgable, and really took care of us and additionally spoke German incredibly fluently (thank you). All in all a great trip and a choice we do not regret.

An amazing hotel with absolutely amazing staff! Where do I start with this holiday, I had such an amazing experience! The hotel was gorgeous, with lots of available loungers and options of pools. Offered a great variety of snacks and meals, not so much breakfast if your wanting your classic english. Was quite tricky to book the other restaurants and only got to go to one on our stay. The service from the staff throughout the hotel was super friendly and just went above and beyond, especially the entertainment team with special thanks to Deniz, Damian, Courtney, Rikki and Matheus who were just outstanding with their joyful, fun personalities that really made the holiday so so special. Caring about our experience and really made sure to spend time with us. Within the first night it felt like we’d known them for ages and they just overall made the holiday, leaving us wishing we never left. Other thanks to Natalie and Madyy from the entertainment team, Omar from water sports and Bojan from kids club who were just so lovely as well and great to spend time with.

Review I stayed at TUI magic life at the end of May with my friend and we had an amazing time. The hotel itself is lovely. The main buffet restaurant has a good variety for lunch and dinner but breakfast was not great. It’s nearly impossible to book a speciality restaurant though, and despite trying to book one everyday, we only managed to try one during our stay. There’s loads to do around the hotel so it’s hard to get bored. Although the hotel and facilities available are great, what really made this an unforgettable holiday was the entertainment team - specifically Deniz, Damian, Courtney, Rikki and Matheus. They were so amazing and welcoming both during the day and especially at night. They made us feel like We’d known them years and were just visiting friends which made it a very special experience as I’ve not had that anywhere else in the world. They really went above and beyond for my friend and I, to the point where they stayed to chill with us even when they were off the clock. Overall, the hotel is great but what makes the holiday is the entertainment team. I’m confident you won’t find people like them anywhere else in the world and they really are unforgettable, so thanks so much to them for the best holiday.

I am writing this comment from my room. Total dispointement. I will make sure to tell all my Canadian collègues and travel agencies to not pick up this hotel. Hotel is below average... People are waiting for 20 minutes for a couple of nuggets that even McDonald's does better. I paid extra money for sea view room and what a surprise. Not even 2 feet of sea view. All liquors and juices are not drinkable. Only water may stop your thurst. And the bonus is the service ... Waiters in bars are sad and unhappy and fighting in front of customers. They are speaking about their income ... 500 dinars... Just to get some tips . For sure.. next destination will be a place where the cherish the work ethics and love towards tourists.
