I
was
so
excited
for
my
holiday
to
Tunisia.
Myself
and
my
partner
hadn't
been
before
and
we
looked
at
reviews
before
booking.
At
the
time,
Nour
Palace
seemed
to
have
only
a
few
disgruntled
customers
but
other
than
that,
it
seemed
positive.
It's
interesting
to
read
all
the
recent
reviews
because
it
seems
to
encapsulate
our
experience
too.
Firstly,
the
hotel
didn't
seem
to
have
our
upgraded
room
on
their
booking
systems,
so
we
spent
the
first
10
minutes
of
our
holiday
connecting
to
WiFi
and
sending
our
booking
confirmation
to
the
reception
team
by
email,
in
all
fairness,the
team
were
patient
and
kind,
so
we
weren't
too
bothered
about
it
in
the
moment.
The
room
was
a
decent
size,
pretty
standard
to
be
honest,
decor
wasn't
anything
to
be
desired
but
it
was
fine.
The
resort
has
5
stars
-
this
to
me,
is
unbelievable.
I
would
really
like
to
know
when
they
were
awarded
this
and
if
the
team
will
be
along
again
soon
to
amend
because
this
truly
doesn't
seem
right.
I
have
seen
reviewers
saying
that
it's
different
in
Tunisia
to
other
places
but
actually,
we
found
other
5
star
resorts
and
spoke
to
locals
and
they
said
there
were
definitely
better
hotels
out
there.
The
food
is
awful.
Its
not
covered
and
most
of
it
is
lukewarm
or
has
flies
intermittently
landing
on
it.
I've
seen
many
people
post
that
they
had
gastrointestinal
problems
after
eating
here.
That's
not
untrue
at
all
and
we
suffered
from
this
too.
One
morning
I
even
saw
a
bird
in
the
dining
room
eating
leftovers
from
a
plate.
The
floor
is
incredibly
slippery,
I
saw
so
many
people
slip,
as
well
as
doing
so
myself
with
food/coffee
in
hand.
We
actually
went
out
the
last
few
nights
of
our
stay
and
avoided
eating
in
general
at
the
resort.
We
ended
up
just
having
a
coffee
and
yoghurt
for
breakfast
and
then
waiting
until
dinner
time
to
eat
again.
In
terms
of
drink
-
obviously
with
respect,
Tunisian
people
don't
really
drink
alcohol
so
I
wasn't
expecting
too
much
in
that
department.
However
they
had
an
extensive
drinks
menu,
including
cocktails,
which
were
not
included
in
the
all
inclusive
price.
Considering
the
amount
of
money
people
had
paid
for
the
5
star
resort
I
was
a
little
miffed
that
the
only
drinks
we
could
get
by
the
pool
were
beer
or
wine
(The
wine
was
warm)
and
if
you
wanted
anything
else
you
had
to
pay.
Also,
the
facilities
that
were
advertised
at
the
'all
inclusive'
resort
had
to
be
paid
for
separately
which
was
disappointing.
As
for
the
servers,
some
were
nice
enough
but
on
the
whole
I
felt
like
I
was
an
inconvenience
if
I
asked
for
something
or
ordered
something
from
the
bar.
Sun
loungers
were
difficult
to
find
after
8am
and
I
found
some
were
reserved
by
the
lifeguards
and
they
would
unreserve
them
for
you
in
exchange
for
a
tip....I
usually
am
happy
to
tip
but
given
the
service
at
the
resort
I
didn't
really
feel
obliged
to
do
this,
we
also
found
that
they
didn't
put
all
the
loungers
out
and
hid
them
away
in
the
outhouse.
I
have
never
had
reason
to
write
an
essay
of
a
review,
especially
a
negative
one
but
I
honestly
wouldn't
recommend
going
to
Nour
Palace.
This
is
not
a
luxurious
hotel,
I
wouldn't
describe
this
as
a
5
star
resort
whatsoever,
moreso
2
or
3
star
if
I
was
being
generous.
