This is some of the best Egyptian food I’ve ever had. We had the grilled chicken and the grilled meat and vegetables. Everything was amazing and super tasty and well cooked. We went back the next day and had the freshest tastiest feteer I’ve ever had in my life. This place was much better than the fancy, famous hotel restaurants we went to in the same area. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. You need to reserve from the day before, and you will also wait for a bit for your food after your arrival at the restaurant. But it will be so so worth it. Can’t wait to go back with more people and try many more items on the menu.

It's amazing. Best Egyptian food. The duck is so special. Usually duck is very greasy but here it's nice and crunchy and flavorful.

Best place to eat in Fayoum by far.. homemade traditional egyptian food just like it was intended to be.. impeccable cleanliness and a super friendly staff. Family owned and managed business with great hospitality and customer service.

The restaurant “Set El-Beet” is a really nice place with great food. I’m recommending anyone coming to the lovely village of Tunis in Fayoum to visit this restaurant. We had grilled fish and fried stuffed pigeons😋. Go try it out👍. Need to mention that Abdo is very nice man and he served us very well. BTW Abdo’s mother is cooking the food fresh, so it can take a while until it is served. Note: The first two picture are taken at the restaurant the remaining pictures are taken from around the village and the surrounding desert.

Amazing place. Clean food. Quiet atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Tasty food. We celebrate there birthday and they bring delicious cake and the kids was happy with the menu. The stuff are so friendly and very clean. I really recommend. Thanks for the experience.

Beautiful atmosphere to take a break from the weather. And get together and enjoy a meal with friends and family. All the food is cooked by the mother and it’s cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back in the future inshallah!!!

A very friendly place and a great comparator for the popular places and restaurants in the same area, i believe that the head of waiters who manage the place is the owner that is why you feel that you are getting the best service you can seek for. We ordered almost every item in the menu and non of them were below expectations. i believe the only challenge they have is parking as no parking place around the restaurant, however, this is not a major issue at all as you can still walk from any point in the village to the restaurant within few minutes. the facilities in the place are very clean and the prices are really acceptable.

We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. Usually you have to order your food a day in advance as it takes a long time to be prepared fresh but we asked if they could make us an exception because we didn’t know and really wanted to try the food. The waiters were so kind and agreed, they served us the tastiest authentic Egyptian food with every side dish available. They said since it was our first time there they wanted us to try all side dishes they had. The food bursted with flavor and the location was so comfortable with a nice garden and situated within the heart of Tunis village. We will gladly go back on our next visit.

I was lucky enough to visit Set El-Beet this time last year, and everything about our experience was incredible! From the moment I picked up the phone to make a reservation, to the moment we left there with are bellies and hearts so full! The food was beyond delicious, everything was made with so much love - truly the best home cooked food you can get! Not just that, but the owners are so lovely, and really take your experience to the next level. They make sure you feel at home at all times. I came back here to write another comment a year after I visited, because I remembered the place and missed it! So grateful to the whole family :) I would recommend this place to everyone! And can't wait to go back.

This is by Far hands down the the Best Egyptian food i have ever Had and no bluffing it’s real authentic home made freshly made food. The owner is super friendly and nice, accommodated us even though we didn’t book previous long ahead. We tried the pigeons and duck they were beyond amazing, also they complimented us with soup along with the molokhya and okra We also tried stuffed cabbage or “mahshi” and for dessert we opted for Om Ali it was so simple yet the most delicious you can get. A must try really you should never miss this because it’s an experience of Fine taste food

The place has been more than perfect, it all started with Abdo who welcomed us very very warm and has been super friendly, the place was clean, cozy and the atmosphere was perfect, the stuffed pigeon was well done, juicy. The duck was prepared well and cooked well and tasted superb also the molokhya was the best I have ever had in my entire life. The fetir was fresh and wonderful I would definitely come back over and over especially to meet Abdo and enjoy homemade Egyptian food 😍😍😍

the food was very great especially the الملوخية and the grilled duck and soup and the place is authentic country it makes you feel simple as for the services it was bigger than wonderful especially Mr Yaser and Mr Abdo Their welcome and the generosity of hosting them is very special. This place is more than AMAZING!!! Five stars wouldn't be enough. The food is incredibly delicious. No words could do justice to how amazing it tastes. We didn't know that we were supposed to make a reservation 24 hours in advance. However, the restaurant still managed to serve us an amazing food. The owner, Ahmed, provided us with exceptional hospitality and even offered additional sides, desserts, and services. We had a lovely time there and we definitely plan on returning again and again ❤️❤️

Happy faces ! We literally had the yummiest dinner in tunis village and it all started with their orzo soup AMAZING !! For a person who never orders grilled kofta , I fell in love with their juicy meaty kofta , the molkhya , the grilled chicken. Their hospitality is beyond words. A definitely our go to place anytime we're in tunis ♥️
