This house is simply fantastic. A house made of clay. Unbelievable! The history of the house is also really interesting. I don't say anything else in order not to spoil it.

Very unique experience to see a ceramic architecture. Our guide, Alejandro was amazing and entertaining. We spent about an hour there. Worth a visit if you are at Villa De Leyva. it cost us 25000 COP for the return taxi ride from Plaza Mayor. (paid by cash) 45000 COP per adult for Casa Terracota (can be paid by credit card)

Nice original place - 10,000 COP is the adult fee, 5,000 for kids. Everything is functional there, even the showers worked! It's worth dropping by even though it's a self guided tour of the house you'll end up doing. You can also reach the roof easily!

Very interesting tourist stop. It’s a house made of mud, by a local architect. You get a guided tour of this fully functional mud house. They describe everything from the inspiration, to the construction of the building. It’s a great place to visit. Very unique!

Extraordinary place, hidden from the main road, but very inspiring and ideal for a time break if you ride or for a walk if you are nearby. Moment for beautiful pictures.

Some people complain about the price buy I think it is such a unique structure so it is justified. If you like arts, like Barcelona and Gaudi you should stop by. It can be seen in 1h and it was not too crowded. No drone allowed if you were looking to do a video.

Living in it .. I would get bored…but really a masterpiece of environmentally friendly architecture of organic forms reminiscent of the great GAUDI

This home was made with clay taken from the surface of the property. The craftsmanship is amazing. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a great personality. The method to fire the clay is impressive. Started in 1999 and finished in 2014. This home is located in a quite small town. If you like the relaxed pace of small town over the hustle of down town Bogotá then you’ll love this place.

Way more interesting than I thought it would be! We were able to get a tour in English, included in the ticket price. You are able to visit inside as well as outside and the roof terrace. A unique place in this world!

This is certainly pretty interesting. I thought the tour we were on was a bit long winded but I appreciated the enthusiasm of the guide. After the tour you are free to wander and check out the rest of the residence.

We walked over from downtown Villa de Leyva and spent a few hours walking through the place. Very interesting to learn about how it was constructed. Many great spots for pictures

Expensive but unique. The house not only looks atypical on the outside, it also doesn't follow the strictly rectilinear floor plans that most modern homes have.

Interesting house with a maze of rooms and terraces. Nice statues and artwork in and around the building. There’s a little bar and toilets there as well. We spent about 30 mins here. Be careful when you arrive per bike as they blocked the entrance with a barely visible cord :)

The brainchild of a local architect - a whole house made out of terracotta. Very interesting to see. The visit usually happens as part of a guided tour (only available on spanish as of now), but there are qr codes with English explanations scattered throughout the place.

Octavio Mendosa is an architect that decided to create this house for living purposes initially. After having many people visit it with out permision he decided to make it open to come with charge. Its an unique building with dali’ish influence of Gaudi and a personal touch that makes it very unique. I particularly liked the bizarre spaces he created inside and outside with this arquitecture.

A 10min taxi from the transport terminal. I really liked the place, it was very interesting. There's some QR codes scattered around that links web pages with audio-guides in Spanish or an English text. Entrance is 40 000 pesos per person, currently, which feels like a lot for the hour or so it takes to see the whole place. But, if you're in Villa de Leyva, I'd definitely recommend a visit.
