My child was recently discharged from this facility where she lived for ten months. She seemed to receive adequate care while she was there, however other than school grades, I only ever received three reports on her behavior. Then suddenly I was told - before a holiday weekend - that I had to pick her up within 72 hours. I was told there was no final incident, and nothing sudden had happened, simply that staff had been reviewing student files and decided she was “too difficult to handle.” Upon discharge we only received two days of necessary medications, and no file on her or insurance card. We were told there was so little medication because it was a holiday weekend and impossible to reach her doctor, however it was their choice to suddenly discharge her during a holiday weekend with no warning. They had absolutely zero advice for continuity of care. It seems they decided their job was done and they washed their hands of this hurting child who deserved better than to be tossed out. She was woken up at 6am and told she had two hours to pack her belongings. She didn’t get to say goodbye to anyone. It’s sickening.

The mansion's rules and policies in place aren't taken seriously as they're violated on a daily basis by residents AND staff! Children exchange personal information (addresses, phone numbers, Facebook profiles, etc.) in the prescence of staff, yet, this was supposedly not allowed. Children are given bribes from staff such as cake or other desserts in order to eavesdrop on other children and report back to the staff member who prompted them to do so. Children are sometimes fed snacks, desserts, & soda as late as 1 am and encouraged to lie about it along with many other lies. Children are made to believe they're not wanted and that parents don't pay for them to reside at the mansion. Children are made to hug and show affection to strangers (usually senior citizen men) that are sponsors who donate money & gifts to the mansion. There are no homework assignments with the school on-site, and children are nit held accountable for their grades. This mansion is NOT what it appears to be!

INDEED a great facility that is blessed by the Lord above. Tomorrow is happening there at TCM, just keep them all in the safety arms of GOD'S Love and will have endless possibilities ahead by taking just one day at a time.
