Ciao Italy is located in a very central area of the city. The school is not huge but the spaces are enough for several students. All the classrooms are well equipped. Together with University of Turin, they are the only one participating in the program Marco Polo in the city. The program is intended for teaching Italian language to Chinese students. First floor, on the left side. Ask for Chiara, she’s a very polite and precise organizer. P.s.: no free parking places around.

I had the opportunity to study at Ciao Italy for over a year to learn Italian and prepare for the B2 CILS exam. Due to lockdowns, I have been as yet unable to take the exam, but thanks to Ciao Italy, I now feel very confident in my speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I took the group intensive classes for many months and really enjoyed them, after which I switched to private tutoring which was also very helpful. I will recommend Ciao Italy in the future!

I have been having online classes, and they have been wonderful. I have improved so much since I started. The teaching is excellent, friendly and accessible, and my communications with the school have always been positive.

Ciao Italy is absolutely fantastic! The school owner and advisor, Chiara Avidano, is an incredible communicator with students and they make sure foreign students have everything they need for moving to Italy. The teachers are incredible and the classes are so fun! I moved to Italy during the Coronavirus pandemic and they have easily worked around my schedule and quarantine so that I could continue learning. I highly recommend this school!!

The school did a brilliant job of placing me in exactly the right class for my level, so the lessons were challenging but still accessible, which really accelerated my progress with the language. Small class sizes, attentive teachers, great customer service, and decent prices. I also loved the walking tours of Turin. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone coming from abroad who wants to seriously improve their Italian.

I had the most wonderful 6 months at Ciao Italy! From the beginning, the direction was very attentive and responsive with communication – helping along the way of applying for a visa as well as multiple times with documents and more during my stay there. Chiara was extremely supportive and attentive to numerous questions from housing to immigration, consulting contacts as well to give the most thorough answer possible. As far as the Italian lessons go, I couldn't have asked for better. Each professor, while having different teaching approaches, was kind, enthusiastic, and very engaging (although I have to give an extra shout out to Andrea, who made the time fly by)! From November to May, there weren't many students, so the classes remained very personal and tailored to what each one of us wanted to practice. I feel more confident in the language than I ever thought after only half a year! Grazie di tutto e spero di rivederci presto :)

(NEDERLANDSE RECENSIE ONDERAAN) I followed two courses (B1 and B2) at CiaoItaly Torino and totally loved it. With the small classes and dedicated teachers you get a lot of personal attention as a student. Because of the many trips you could do with the school, I not only learned the Italian language but also got to know the beautiful city of Turin. Together with students and teachers we often went out for dinner, drinks or to visit the multiple amazing museums in the city. Through the school I made many new international friends with whom I'm still in contact today. For the time I spent abroad in Turin, CiaoItaly really felt like home for me. Last couple of months I was able to join an online course at B2 level through Skype -partly due to the circumstances surrounding covid-19- and I was really happy to be back in class with CiaoItaly. Hopefully I can come back to Turin in the future to follow another live course. I can totally recommend everyone to do the same.

As a beginning Italian speaker, I was looking forward to attending a month long class in Torino during 2020. With the lockdowns, Chiara offered alternative Zoom classes through her school. I have been taking 2, one hour personal classes per week for a semester with Monica. Monica has concentrated on improving my speaking, comprehension and writing and I am extremely happy with my progress. The hour is enjoyable, with Monica and me discussing current events and our interests as well as writing and even doing some tests. I have made substantial progress in all aspects of the language this year. My confidence has improved as has my competence. Italian friends and staff in Italian restaurants with whom I have a lot of fun conversing and picking up additional hints and colloquialisms, have been very enthusiastically helping me because I am gaining such a good grounding, vocabulary and ear from my classes. Thank you. David W. in Australia

Had a great experience with Ciao Italy when taking my B1 exam for Italian citizenship. The staff was very helpful and professional through the whole process. The pre-exam prep course that they offer was also very helpful. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely wonderful and caring staff and teachers. Chiara was a dream, she set up an entire program for me. My professor, Maria G went through so much trouble and spent so much patience and time to go over everything I wanted and needed to learn. Cinque stelle, grazie a tutti :):)

I thoroughly enjoyed my week of language classes at Ciao Italy. The staff was very helpful and responsive via email in advance of my travel to Italy and made it easy for me to feel confident that I’d have a good experience. My teacher was engaging and friendly and allowed us to practice our speaking every day. He used a 20 Questions game with Taboo cards that was quiet fun and encouraged creativity with the language. It was easy to stay focused and entertained in each class. I love learning Italian in a non-English speaking-dominant-environment and Ciao Italy was great for that. I was the only American in my class of 8 and I loved it that way. There were not a lot of native English speakers as tourists in Turin (at least in late July when I was there) so there are lots of chance to practice your Italian. I hope to come back in the future and take more classes in Italian. Even after a week here in Turin, there is still more I’d like to do and see.

My name is Raymond. I am 40 years old. I came from Myanmar. Five months ago I studied the Italian language here at "Ciao Italy". Before I came to Italy, I knew nothing about the Italian language. I came to Turin and then studied it at "Ciao Italy". After five months of learning it, now I can understand it, talk and write. I was very happy to study at "Ciao Italy". It is truly a fantastic school. I could experience that not only me, but also my classmates were so happy and very fast in learning in the class. It has no doubt that it is all because of the efficiency of all the teachers. They are very good, smart and kind. They understand the situation of the students, help them, accompany them and make them active and involved in the class. "Now the school has stolen my heart."

I had the pleasure of spending 4 weeks at Ciao Italy. I learned so much there that I can't express how grateful I am to everyone there. Thank you so much, I truly had the time of my life. If you're looking to study in a fun and supportive environment, it would be a shame if you went anywhere else. This is definitely the place you've been looking for.
