Yard Hostel & Coffee

The level of accommodations is outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Rooms, beds, toilets, showers, kitchen, and reception are clean as can be, and everything looks recently remodeled and modern. Even the guests are quiet and respectful. The location is a short bus ride from the bus station, off the main road with many buses, and in the heart of the city's tourist attractions. Because the property is tucked away in a courtyard, there's no noise from outside. Wifi is fast and covers the whole property, even outside. The kitchen tap has a separate faucet for filtered drinking water.

A seven star hidden gem!! Cant describe how amused I was when I first saw this hostel in real lofe. From its Cafe to the rooms, the showers and facilities and the tiny miny little details.. The scrumptious snacks and sweets made by the wife of the owner of the hostel made it some homey and special. Special thank to Matthew and Julia for going above and beyond and taking ownership while dealing with customers. 1000/10 recommended

Amazing place with extremely helpful and kind staff. People working there care a lot about their guests, comfort and travel! Guys thank you a lot! Plus they have really good coffee in their cafe downstairs. Superb location in the center of everything! Beds were so comfortable! Many sockets next to each bunk bed (top and bottom). AC in room if needed. Lockers inside room. Only thing I didn't like in particular is just one shower available but apart from that everything was more then excellent throughout my stay :) White and very soft bed sheets (very clean so you can tell that cleanness is important for them).

Great hostel. Newly renovated (2019). I stayed in the 12 bed mixed dorm. The room was layed out as a capsule hotel with 12 individual boxes. Solid built and comfortable beds. The bathroom was a bit cramped. There is no common room for the guests at the hostel, but you are welcome to stay in the coffee bar. Price for one night was about 5€. Friendly and helpful staff.

I loved the place, I wish I could have stayed longer, all the support. But a little advice There should be a cover over the bed so that you are hidden from others.

My Green room was amazing, a bit sad cause it wasn’t sunny days and I didn’t have choice to stay with my coffee on a balcony. I had towels, slippers for using and that was really great. There are many locations with lights in the room, working heating panel, TV (I haven’t used) and completely comfortable bed. Toilet and shower room was all the time clean, I didn’t have any difficulties. Actually I was lucky enough maybe cause in my staying I almost didn’t see anybody. And that’s so perfect when instead of cooking something for breakfast you just come downstairs and grab coffee or tea (really big choice) with some fresh made pastry. The staff people are friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for warm staying! Will be glad to come back.

The Green room was very comfortable, kitchen is supplied with all necessities but I would add paper towels cuz it’s not hygienic to use 1 towel in the kitchen for all guests. Toilet on the second floor could have been cleaner (especially the smell), but the first floor shower was amazing!
