Dr. Nada was very unprofessional and rude in my last visit. For starters, she insisted on referring to my wife as "my friend". That might be the reason she was treating me badly and it would have been bad enough already, but she wouldn't allow me to explain what I was feeling and what the problem was. After diagnosing me in 15 seconds I had questions about it and she told me to do some research on Google. When I tried to ask questions she told me not to interrupt her. When she finished, I still wanted to understand how I got this condition and she wouldn't let me ask by saying "I've already told you what you have, don't try to give me any ideas". This was the worse medical consult I've ever had. Strongly do not recommend this professional.

I just had the worst experience with Dr. N. yasir, if you go to this clinic don't see her! I went in because of pain in my legs, afraid of blood clots, she didn't even examine me. Just wanted me to pay for another blood test, which I had two weeks ago already because it didn't test vitamins. She was careless, insensible, just wanted to get as much money as possible and send me my way. I came home even more anxious than I went in. Her diagnosis after no examination "muscular pain for no reason". I hope one day her life depends on a doctor like her.

I am a regular patient at this medical centre, and while waiting today (because I walked in, and had no appointment) stumbled across these reviews. I was really amazed. The negative reviews are clearly brainless trolling and probably written by people who never visited, or by those who obviously have little experience of real life medical care. Its a pity that the words of a few anonymous idiots might reflect on the actuality of kind, professional and competent staff- but this is an aspect of the online environment nowadays. Nothing in the world is perfect, not even this clinic, but the patent nonsense spouted by some on the writers is bizarre in the extrene, and I question their motives. Try the place yourself. Its conveniently located. Fairly priced. Capable of seeing walk-in patients, even if there is a bit of a wait. The doctors are knowledgeable, warm, friendly and efficient: as are the counter staff. From time to time you may be processed through more rapidly if there are lots of patients- but what would you expect? Your own private hospital? No, ignore those negative reviews. Of course there may be a scintilla of truth here and there, but frankly, some people expect 1000% service for 10% cost. Let's get real here, please.

Kidney Stones - Advised the doctor I had them before and that it hurts. He gave me diclac 75mg and told me "you'll be OK." 5 minutes = 60 euro, for nothing. Had to go to hospital after to get an xray to be told if I can pass it or laser thing will be needed. Don't go to Dame Street Medical, google is a better doctor than the guy there.

The staff at the reception is very kind; however, I am still trying to understand how the doctor managed to hear my heart rate and lungs function through the thick sweater I was wearing. I did ask if I should remove it, but the doctor said no, touched my jumper slightly with the stethoscope, and said that we were done—a 7-minute check for 70 euros. Also, I was prescribed PAIN KILLERS with paracetamol for a strong caugh - one of my best friends is a doctor, unfortunately not in Ireland, and he had a very good laugh about it. I am still trying to figure out the Irish healthcare system - I think it is awful for a great country like this to have such a poor health system.

If you want to spend 60€ to spend 5 Minutes with a doctor who doesn’t care and get some prescription drugs then go here. If you want an actual doctor who cares then I would go elsewhere. I have never had a doctor seem to care less about a patient.

Stay away this place! I was in and out within 5 minutes, I described my symptoms and was told by the doctor I had a pulled muscle in my back, nothing of the sort, I described chills in my lower back to him. He didn't check blood pressure, listen to my breathing, check temperature, nothing. I was basically doing most of the talking, no probing questions asked, nothing about my medical history etc, just can you bend down and turn around. I asked if it could be a kidney infection -, so I did a urine test. He diagnosed me with a pulled muscle. I returned days later and explained I was unhappy with the service I received, the doctor seen to me again and got a better assessment this time with antibiotics prescribed, only because I suggested it. Basically felt like I was disturbing the doctors day on the first visit, even though I was a paying patient. The second visit was better but at the end of the day, there should've been just one visit. I was charged Eur65 the first visit, some people were charged Eur60 in front of me. It says on their website Eur60. I heard other people being charged Eur65 also when they were paying. I wasn't charged for the second visit only because I complained twice about the first visit. When I asked for a certificate for work, they charged eur25, disgrace. I paid for it but after thinking about it, I went back and got a refund, Eur25 for a piece of paper when medical certificates are included in other GP consultation fees. No thanks, there's your piece of paper back. Surprised they don't charge you for sitting in the waiting room. Seems to be just all about taking as much money out of you as possible with very poor service in return. I cannot stress to go elsewhere enough!

Updated: Clinic sent incomplete referral to the hospital, I couldn't get an appointment now they called me to have another appointment free of charge and apologised for the mistake, however I got there and the doctor said that I didn't need the referral anymore cause I showed improvement, I still had the same problem and went to another doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Khashan and the wonderful staff at Dame Street Medical. I have been a patient of Dr. Khashan's for over 8 years and he is one of the most caring, attentive doctors I've ever had. Dr. Khashan truly listens to your concerns and never rushes you. He patiently explains things and his calm demeanor immediately puts you at ease. He goes above and beyond to ensure his patients' wellbeing. The staff at the clinic are also lovely - always responsive and nice. It's clear the entire team genuinely cares about patients. I do my annual physical and bloodwork here and trust my health is in excellent hands with Dr. Khashan. I can't recommend this clinic highly enough for a compassionate doctor and exceptional care.

Female doctor was in a bad mood and unfortunately I bore the brunt of it. I was in the room for approx 6-7 mins when I was told I needed to hurry up and get out and was reminded that she cannot spend all day on me. During the visit there were certain comments made by the doctor that were both cold and unprofessional. To top it off somehow my prescriptions got mixed up by her and I ended up spending 60 euro on nothing. Hats off to reception though, everyone I dealt with at the desk was lovely.

The worst GP I have ever been too in my life. They have zero care for your health, no professionalism about them and are money hungry ****! I have been misdiagnosed on 3 occasions (whilst prescribed strong, long term medication) which has created new health problems for me. SERIOUSLY AVOID AT ALL COSTS !! You will feel a million times worse after leaving your 2 minute, kick you out the door session for 70 euro!

Waited for an hour on a Sunday which was no big deal as there was a huge queue of people before me and maybe 2 doctors on call. Upon completing the patient form the receptionists said it was cash only which was fine again but while I was waiting there was a lady who paid with her card so that was odd. When it was my turn and I told the doctor that I this skin condition twice now and I’m worried it was on my face, he started laughing and asked if my doctor from China said that. So I, very frustratingly, told him where my parents were from and that I was born here - eventhough this is completely irrelevant to the situation. I had to ask him to prescribe me antibiotics because initially he said I didn’t need it. He started writing down my diagnosis on the card with my personal information written by the receptionist - which I have to admit the handwriting looked a bit childish. And he asked me if I wrote it. Told him no, then he said that that’s weird since she was from Ireland. Gobsmacked. I just wanted him to give my prescription and get out of there. Complete ignorance.

The reception staff are really lovely, however my experience with the doctor was less than satisfactory owing to the fact that there was minimal communication and when there was communication it contained delayed information. I also felt the doctor was rather callous and seemed to want me out of the clinic in a rush when I needed an in-person consultation, I was also given medication containing penicillin after explicit stating that I had an allergy to penicillin. I was diagnosed with a likely urinary tract infection and this was diagnosed without checking my temperature etc, and is now an ongoing issue I have. The location is super handy, and the receptionists are lovely to deal with, however those are the only benefits of this clinic. I didn't feel in any way valued or cared for as a patient, and I've since changed clinics.

I don’t know why this place is listed when you search for reasonably priced GPs, or doctors for students - this was more pricy than a GP in an affluent area. There are much cheaper doctors around for those on a budget, so don’t come here. The price on the site is listed as €60, I was charged €65. Was not warned of the price or the fact that they only take cash. The doctor prescribed me an extremely expensive medication which was impossible to get in almost every pharmacy in Ireland. Pharmacists and later doctors were shocked I had been prescribed this medication - especially since he knew I was unemployed and receiving no benefits... €42 a month for this medication! He also advised me to complete the 3 month course of meds to see if they worked. I have since been told by professionals that if they don’t work in the first few weeks, come off them immediately. All in all, he prescribed me an expensive course of action despite being able to see I was in a very vulnerable position. AVOID!

Got charged 60EURO for a doctor to not listen, misdiagnose and send me on my way all within 3 minutes. Stay away from this place! Went in with lower left back pain, some pain in my front and was told immediately it was muscle pain. I said it didn't seem like it and she had me lay down so she could lift my legs, which I said didn't hurt, and then touched my back down my spine, which I said didn't hurt either. She again said it was muscle pain and said go to physiotherapist. I did lots of sports growing up, I know what muscle pain is. I've never felt so disregarded of my feelings and symptoms than I have here. I went to Suffolk Street Surgery two days later where they actually listened to my symptoms and tested my urine and I had a terrible kidney infection. Go somewhere else instead!

Do not recommend Dr. Nada Yasir. I needed a referral for a specialist to check on a condition I've been diagnosed with. She strongly dismissed what I said and said this condition was a 'trend' now and everyone was looking for it. She didn't even bothered asking any questions about it or the effect it has in my daily life. In addition, she referred to my wife as my friend in every opportunity she had, showing a great deal of unprofessionalism while dealing with people from different backgrounds and lifestyles than hers. She wouldn't let me ask any questions or explain what my problems were, being extremely rude and telling me to do my own research and not to question her diagnosis (which she made in the first 2 minutes of the consult). If you are looking for a GP, do not go to her for help. You will leave the room feeling worse than you entered.

Doctor gave me 110% of her time. She is very considerate and friendly. Charge is pretty standard for a private medical centre. The walk in policy is great but people with pre-booked appointments got priority so I had to wait a bit. It was worth it though. Polite staff, kind doctor, correct diagnoses. Perhaps people write reviews to complain hence the rating?

Absolute chaos at the clinic, we waited 40 mins for a vaccination appointment. Dirty reception, no information for the people waiting. Not a place you go to if you actually need medical attention. Can't say anything about the doctor however as I saw him for 2-3 mins.

Worst doctor I've seen in my life. First appointment didn't listen to me or take ANY medical history. I brought my urine in in a sample contained I had taken from the receptionist and instead of a quick test that has been done in EVERY SINGLE OTHER DOCTOR i've been to, he asked ME to dispose of it and wrote me a prescription. When I came back a week later with the exact same symptoms he did the same again but I asked him to test it so he sent it to a Lab and he prescribed me lots of things without explaining them. 5 days later I got my test results and they said there was a very minor UTI and I shouldnt have had those symptoms. My reaction to that double course of antibiotics was a full body itching that has kept up for 3 months. this doctor has been in COURT for over prescribing and should be struck off. I regret not reading these reviews before spending money and time on a waste of space

They just tried to rip me off 70 euros. I had a chest xray, I haven't heard from them so sent an email if everything is okey. The doctor called just for saying me about it came clean you have allergies. Their argument is it wasn't about chest x-ray but the allergy so you need to pay for phone consultation. This is ridiculous!!!

Dr. Khashan and Nada are two of the most kind doctors I've ever met. For a walk-in clinic where they are under pressure to treat everyone who needs them within a certain amount of time, they always give people who are having a tough time the time and care they need. Dr. Zainab is also so lovely and goes out of her way to give the most thorough care to every patient that she sees. The girls on the desk are legends too, bend over backwards for every patient that goes in there.

Had to be seen a couple times in the past year for different reasons. Both Dr. Khashan and Dr. Nada spent a good amount of time listening to my symptoms and taking tests when needed, all with excellent bedside manner. Shame that people tend to leave reviews only when they've had a negative experience. I'm sure if you ask any of the regular patients of Dame Street, they will tell you otherwise... Oh, and the receptionists are rock stars too! ;)

while we rush to critique negative experiences, I think it's important to highlight the positive ones. Due to the exceptional care I received in the clinic in my last visit I decided to write this review. I have to say that we have been attending the clinic for years and seen by both Dr Nada and Dr Rafid and they are equally very efficient. The care is excellent ,the receptionists are pleasant and very welcoming. What made this visit different is the need to do few tests and examination that I have been avoiding for a long time due to my previous bad experience when I got them done by a specialist in a private hospital. Dr Nada did the procedure without pain or even discomfort. She also seems to have excellent knowledge in dermatology and she actually saved me visits to two specialists. Highly recommended for a comfortable and efficient service.

I have attended Dame Street Medical Centre on two occasions. The reception staff are superb from the moment you walk in; most helpful, so polite and very attentive. I saw Dr Nada on my first visit and she was so professional, present and thorough in all aspects of my consultation. She spent almost an hour with me in a very relaxing environment and wanted to be sure all my concerns were addressed. I highly recommend her especially for females. On my second visit, I saw Dr. Khashan. He was also very professional and polite and took his time to listen and address my concerns. Another very successful visit to Dame Street Medical Centre right in the heart of town. You can get a same day appointment and be assured you will receive top class professional care. Thank you to all staff and continued success with your important work.

I cant stress how poor the service is here. After waiting ages for the doctor, I was given a prescription with not enough information on it (no doseage) so I'd to go back to them after being at the chemist. Even though it had o lying been five minutes, they made me wait another half hour for the doc to write a number on my prescription. Despite this I was told from my blood test result I was having an allergic reaction to something but if I wasnt itchy then it was probably nothing. This was my second blood test done as they gave me the WRONG results the first time. I mentioned three things that were bothering me and was told I'd have to make another appointment. I cant stress enough how awful they are.they definitely capitalise on being central. But you may aswell burn your money. Also, did I mention they never take my blood? I've to take time off work to go to the hospital EVERY TIME. sham business.

Im extremely nervous of the dentist but this place goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease. Been there twice in 6 weeks to have teeth removed and will only go to this place.

Cured! Fixed what two American doctors couldn't see. I came at opening, and was seen within minutes. Doctor and receptionist were both very friendly and there is a $10 student discount!

Wouldn’t recommend this practice at all. Dr. Nada did not offer much help or understanding for my issue and prescribed me medication without highlighting the very important side effects of it or its actual use. My main problem is that there was no diagnosis given to me that would lead to the prescription of such medication. There was also no history taken or any other evaluation done. It was a conversation that lasted all of five minutes in which she did not listen to what I was saying or appear to want to listen to what I was saying. I find it significantly dangerous to not allow the time for a patient to properly explain an issue before prescribing medication on a long term basis. Left the room feeling worse than beforehand and €70 quid down.
