Tusayan General Store

Supermarket

🫤 This is a glorified souvenir shop, with a large section for beverages and a VERY limited section for groceries/ food. I cannot stress how overpriced it it is, a yogurt that I can buy for less than $2 in any other store was $5.19. Such a shame as its the only place. Stock up before you make your way... People often mention store, Grand, Canyon, drinks, Tusayan,

I cannot stress how overpriced it it is, a yogurt that I can buy for less than $2 in any other store was $5.19. Such a shame as its the only place. Stock up before you make your way up here! The two stars is only because the cashier was very friendly and was happy to change a note for quarters so I could do laundry.

More like a Tshirt/convenience store. Over priced groceries. $9.00 for a package of cookies that cost $4.00 at any regular store? Mostly individual packaged soft drinks along the back wall. Didn't see many people buying anything.

Clean bathroom, excellent customer service, decent selection of snacks, drink, and souvenirs. The prices are a little higher than what I am used to however I imagine its because the closest city being Flagstaff is an hour and half drive. Definitely worth it if you need a break. Will stop again.

If you're planning a trip to the Grand Canyon and find yourself in Tusayan, Arizona, the Tusayan General Store is a great place to grab some food and drinks before heading out to the national park. Conveniently located near the entrance of the Grand Canyon, this store offers a range of options to satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst. One of the standout features of the Tusayan General Store is its variety of food choices. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack, a hearty sandwich, or a full meal, you're likely to find something that suits your taste. From freshly made sandwiches and wraps to pizzas and burgers, their menu has something for everyone. Vegetarian and vegan options are available as well, ensuring that dietary preferences are catered to. The store also boasts a well-stocked beverage selection. You'll find an array of refreshing drinks, including sodas, juices, energy drinks, and bottled water, perfect for rehydrating during your time at the Grand Canyon. If you're looking for something with a little more kick, they also offer a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine. The atmosphere of the Tusayan General Store is casual and laid-back. It has a cozy seating area where you can relax and enjoy your meal before or after your Grand Canyon adventure. The staff members are friendly and efficient, ensuring that you receive your order promptly. They are also knowledgeable about the area and can provide recommendations or answer any questions you may have. One thing to note is that being a general store, the prices at Tusayan General Store can be slightly higher compared to other dining options in the area. However, considering its convenient location and the quality of the food and service provided, the slightly higher prices are justifiable. Overall, the Tusayan General Store is a reliable stop to grab food and drinks before exploring the Grand Canyon. With its varied menu, convenient location, and friendly staff, it offers a convenient and satisfying dining experience. Just remember to check their operating hours, as they may vary depending on the season.

Yet another overpriced Grand Canyon store. The food options are good, but be prepared to shell out a pretty penny for some creature comforts. You can definitely get what you need here, but again, the prices are just unfair

Very cool. If you know the right people you can get live animals or order them here.. not too many other places to find that service in Arizona

They have quite a lot of things, but the prices are insane. Would only buy things you absolutely need here..

Has some basics...works great for tourists that forgot a couple of things or needs some snacks and drinks. Also has tons of Grand Canyon souvenirs and t-shirts.

Absolute highway robbery here. Be prepared to dish out an absurd amount of money for a basic selection of food. Definitely do your shopping before coming here, otherwise expect to spend close to double
