My bf purchased engagement ring for me on 6.23.21- He gave me the ring- 7.17.21- it was the weekend so we took it back to have it sized the following week. After the sizing -I got the ring back a week later- and it was missing the following - side setting stones (thought it was due to sizing because i have very small ring size) and was not given the diamonds that were removed. Also, the authenticity stamp of 14K was removed. I wore the ring for a few weeks and lost a diamond on the claw holding the main stone in place- I took it back to them 9.10.21 to fix because high end jewellery should not be loosing ANY stones (this is due to poor craftsmanship). When I took the ring to be fixed- I told them the following was wrong with the ring: Main setting of the stone -was crooked and one of the prongs was not holding the main diamond in place, the stone on the claw fell off, the 14K stamp was missing and underneath the setting the gold was rough and hand bumps due to it not being finished or polished. Anthony assured me he will make it perfect and I would be happy. Fast forward to 9.23.21- after two weeks of them working on it- I went to pick it up yesterday and the ring was missing a stone some where else on the setting, the 3 diamonds left on the claws were removed and not given back to me and the main stone was still crooked and not set properly, and underneath was still unfinished. I told him this craftsman ship is terrible, I asked Anthony if this was going to be a problem with this setting, he lied and said no he told me he would try one more time to fix the setting and if not then he will order a new one because its a faulty setting and Anthony said "well the diamond is too small for this type of setting"- then why would you sell us something that is not correct to start with? After that I left and I spoke to my fiancé and I just didn't feel conformable with what is happening and I didn’t feel that I will be given a item I can wear. I called and spoke to Sunny over the phone and I told her I wanted to cut the back and forth and just get a different simpler setting that I am not going to have this problem with. She said ok come back in. Well my fiancé just didn’t feel that any of the craftsmanship (specially after reading other yelp issues of the same problem) would be good at this point so he asked for his money back- they said no they will not and I got a phone call today 9.24.21 to come pick up my ring its ready? This is not what I agreed to. I want a refund- we do not want anything from this TUSTIN DIAMOND EXCHANGE at this point- the customer service is terrible and they will not give us our money back. Its to the point where we want to return the wedding bands because we bought those in good faith to show we would be a continued client but after this experience we want nothing to do with the rings at this point. We just want our money back to go else where as they are saying we are threatening them when we just want things to be right. FIX IT Anthony- refund our money! You are a scammer and you still have the ring! GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!  DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE GOING TO RIP YOU OFF! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today!

BEWARE OF TUSTIN DIAMOND fraudulent "diamonds"! I purchased four pieces of jewelry, including an $8 thousand dollar pair of 2ct diamond earrings, from Tustin Diamond Exchange June 18, 2018 which totaled close to $17 thousand dollars. This was my first pair of real diamond earrings and I was excited. On March 12, 2022, I went to the Los Angeles diamond district with a friend while she met with her personal jeweler and while there I asked for my earrings to be looked at. The jeweler stated that my earrings are not the color or clarity I was told when I purchased them and that they are laser drilled which simply means a laser breaks up and fills in occlusions. This is not illegal, however, as supposedly reputable jewelers, the consumer is to be notified; Tustin Diamond Exchange sold me a fake bill of goods and I was not informed that the diamonds I was purchasing were laser drilled. When I contacted the owner, Anthony (who denies being the owner when it's convenient for him), and explained the situation on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, he told me that my friend's jeweler was a liar, even though she purchases $100 thousand plus annually from her jeweler, and Anthony angrily took great lengths (and hostility) to explain to me that Tustin Diamond Exchange doesn't sell laser drilled diamonds. I took the earrings to two other independent jewelers in the Los Angeles diamond district that day who told me the same thing about my diamonds being laser drilled. Additionally, I visited a Certified Gemologist in Laguna Niguel on March 15, 2022, who confirmed the laser drilling. I also asked Anthony at that time for a copy of the appraisal from Tustin Diamond Exchange to which he replied they don't keep records of appraisals and he would need to re-appraise the earrings. Oh yes, the "Certified Appraisal " which the Tustin Diamond Exchange provides the customer with at the time of purchase, is worthless. The only certified appraisals come from a certified gemologist and it's issued through the GIA (Gemological Institute of America); Tustin Diamond Exchange does not have a GIA certified gemologist on staff and therefore what they consider "certified " is falsehood. I told Anthony, who advised me to not sell my earrings to the jewelers in Los Angeles and to come into Tustin Diamond Exchange on Tuesday, March 15th at 11am and he would purchase the earrings for more than the $2500 I was being offered by the Los Angeles jeweler; I agreed to meet him. When I showed up at the Tustin Diamond Exchange on March 15, 2022 at 11am, the doors were locked and no one was there. I called Anthony, who had my phone number to reschedule if necessary - but didn't - and he stated he's sick and can't meet me. I requested another employee open the store and he stated there is no one else to open the store; he alsodenied that he's the owner of Tustin Diamond Exchange - he is. Additionally, when I demanded that he meet with me, he threatened to call the Tustin police for harassing him; I've called him three times in four days. Finally, he told me to sue him, he doesn't care. So I will. Further, their website states they are "Certified Professionals". I would warn future customers to request the certifying agency and to know that the "Certified Appraisal" given to you at the time of purchase from Tustin Diamond Exchange is worthless when it comes to reselling their jewelry and the value amount they assess is arbitrary. Beware of spending your hard earned money on fake jewelry as all that glitters doesn't equate to real diamonds.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE TUSTIN DIAMOND EXCHANGE! I normally don't write reviews but I felt I needed to here. My girlfriend and I are in the market to buy an engagement ring/wedding band set for her and wedding band for me. We've been to many places and decided to go to the Tustin Diamond Exchange on Saturday, June 5, 2021. I did research and read nothing but positive reviews about this place. The selection looked amazing on their website. We go there and are immediately greeted by a woman who did not give us her name, nor asked ours. We tell her why we are there and my girlfriend tells her the style of rings she likes. The woman shows us a few styles and gives us rough estimates on pricing, after asking a man who also works there. This man did not give us his name, nor did he ask ours. My girlfriend and I saw an engagement ring/wedding band we liked for her and the woman tells us the price. I asked the woman if it was okay to take pictures of the ring and the woman reluctantly said yes. After maybe 20 minutes, my girlfriend and I noticed the woman began to change her mood and seemed annoyed, like she sensed we were not going to buy there. Other jewelry clients walked into the store and the woman leaves to go help them. So my girlfriend and I continue looking at the jewelry cases, my girlfriend looking at the engagement rings/wedding bands for her and me looking at the wedding bands for men. I see some men's wedding bands I really liked, so I take 4 pictures. I took the photos because my girlfriend and I had previously agreed we would both make separate purchases without the other being present. I took the pictures so I could have a record and could tell my girlfriend to go back to make the purchase for my band. As I take my 4th photo, the woman who had initially helped us appears to yell at me, "Sir, sir, you cannot take pictures!" I did not clearly hear her so I look at her and say, "What?" She again yells at me and says, "Sir, sir, you cannot take pictures!" The man who works there then tells me in an annoyed voice, "I have been watching you and noticed you have been taking pictures of all our jewelry cases! It's okay to take 1 or 2 pictures but not more than that! We don't even own this place and you're going to go to our competitors and steal our designs!" I was stunned, but remained calm, and did not respond back to not escalate the situation. I then go back to my girlfriend and she asks me, "Are you okay?" They should have pulled you aside and privately told you you can't take pictures. They should have signs posted not to take pictures. You didn't know. That was rude on their part." My girlfriend continues to look at rings for a bit longer and tells me she wants to know a more definitive price on the ring she likes. The man then comes back after helping another woman and my girlfriend asks him the price. The man apologizes for snapping at me after maybe feeling he and his woman co-worker lost a potential sale and again tells me he does not want me to take the photos to his competitors and steal his designs. The man assumed he knew my intentions. I tell him I didn't know I couldn't take that many photos and it's his store, he can assume what he wants. To be honest, the ring designs there are mediocre at best! The diamonds seemed very dull and didn't shine much! I really felt this place exhibited poor customer service! The woman worker that helped us seemed to be in a bad mood from the minute we walked in, the man worker was continuously watching us, and for both to snap and yell at a potential customer just shows they didn't want our business! My girlfriend and I will take our business elsewhere! Immediately after, my girlfriend and I went to Robbins Brothers in Fullerton. Talk about great customer service! If you want great service, go to a place like Robbins Brothers, who don't care about you taking many photos! The diamonds are a higher quality and shine unlike any other! Great customer service is the reason why people buy a ring at a place like Robbins Brothers!

My now husband brought me here to look at engagement rings. They have an amazing selection of rings and make the process very smooth. I also picked out a wedding band and love both rings! I bring my rings over whenever I need a cleaning at no additional cost! We are definitely coming here to buy our daughters jewelry for her baptism! I recommend this place to everyone!

I been looking for the perfect engagement ring and I've checked many jewelry stores in the OC area and none of them had what i was looking for. I walked into this store and a sales lady named Samantha greeted me very polite and knowledgeable. I showed her a pic of a ring that I'm looking for and they had many styles to show me. Great selection and great service. I chose the stone in the quality that i was looking for and the size of my soon to be fiance & they put it together in about an hour. I definitely recommend that you check this place out. I am thrilled with their service. Thank you so much Samantha

I been dealing with Michael at the Tustin Diamond Exchange for over 25 years and I've purchased many beautiful pieces of Diamond jewelry from them and I have always gotten the very best price and service from them. I accidentally put my ring in the garbage disposal and it was in a very bad demolished shape. They fixed it for me in the same condition as it was, like new. I definitely recommend Tustin Diamond Exchange to be your family jeweler like they have been my family jeweler for 25 years. Thank you so much Michael.

They were so great! My husband got my engagement ring here a little over 5 years ago, and my diamond was starting to get loose. Anthony looked at it, cleaned it (along with my wedding band that I didn't even purchase from there), and secured my diamond. I thought I would have to pay, but he said they could do it without charge! I'm so thankful and would definitely recommend this place. They have so many beautiful pieces of jewelry, and the prices are great! Can't wait to come back for another piece of jewelry in the future! 😁💎👍

I seen this place advertised many years ago. My wife always like little rings. But finally for our 15 year anniversary she said she wanted a bigger ring. I went with the intent of spending more than i ever thought i would pay for a ring. And after months of looking for that perfect ring we found what she wanted at a much lower price and high quality diamond. Im very happy and impressed with everything for the moment i walked in to the moment we walked out. I will definitely be coming back when its time to upgrade!!!

Very good service. I appreciate the help in selecting my engagement ring. The jeweler had great intuition in showing me settings that were perfect for me...my style and my fiancé' s budget. The extra service and attention, cleaning all of the jewelry I was wearing, was unexpected and very appreciated. The sales staff was helpful, patient, and professional. Their service and quality work are extraordinary.

Wonderful experience, my mom ordered two necklaces and a ring from here. They were both done within a week and looked fantastic! He gave her amazing prices on all 3 items, and we will definitely be visiting again.

Such a great experience getting my Fiancés engagement ring here. Anthony was very helpful, patient and attentive to what I was looking for. I even had to take the ring back because it was a little dirty, and he took it back and cleaned it and took care of it hassle free. My now fiancé LOVED the ring. I will definitely be back for jewelry in the future! Thanks Anthony!
