I
signed
up
for
OTF
Irvine's
introductory
class
on
10/1
through
the
website
but
realized
OTF
Tustin
was
more
ideal
for
my
commute
to
work.
I
was
able
to
sign
up
for
a
7:20am
class
at
Tustin
instead
and
for
the
following
Monday,
10/3.
When
I
arrived,
I
was
greeted
by
Joseph
at
the
counter.
He
turned
me
away
saying
I
already
took
multiple
classes
and
that
my
email
was
flagged.
I
was
confused
and
tried
to
clarify
that
I've
never
been
there.
Despite
showing
him
all
my
texts
from
the
Irvine
location,
email
confirmation
for
my
free
class,
and
even
a
class
confirmation
on
the
app,
he
was
adamant
that
the
system
wouldn't
even
let
me
go
through
to
try
out
an
intro
class.
The
class
was
on
my
app,
which
he
opted
to
remove
for
me
because
it
was
past
the
cancellation
period
(even
though
he
was
the
one
who
turned
me
away.)
Joseph
offered
to
show
me
the
rates,
which
I
agreed
to
since
I
was
already
there.
He
told
me
the
only
way
I'd
be
able
to
attend
that
day
was
to
buy
a
drop-in
class
or
sign
up
for
class
pass.
I
tried
not
to
get
too
frustrated
as
I
felt
he
was
just
trying
to
do
his
job
(in
case
the
system
truly
wouldn't
let
him).
I
let
him
know
I'd
sort
it
out
with
the
Irvine
location
as
I
don't
want
to
pay
for
a
class
I
have
yet
to
try.
I
drove
30
minutes
and
even
showed
up
30
minutes
early
for
orientation
per
instructions
just
to
get
turned
away.
I
called
the
Irvine
location
and
their
employee
said
she'd
be
in
contact
with
Tustin
to
find
out
what
happened.
She
was
really
accommodating
and
really
empathetic,
contrary
to
the
treatment
I
received
at
Tustin.
I
followed
up
later
that
evening
and
Irvine's
staff
signed
me
up
without
any
issue.
I
made
sure
that
everything
was
cleared
as
I
didn't
want
to
be
turned
away
again
due
to
a
system
error.
I
was
able
to
connect
with
the
Irvine
employee
I
spoke
over
the
phone
with
after
finishing
my
introductory
class.
I
sought
clarification
about
why
I
was
turned
away
and
she
stated
that
Joseph
called
that
morning.
She
didn't
see
anything
that
flagged
me
on
the
account
on
her
end
and
did
not
know
what
the
issue
was.
He
gave
her
a
completely
different
email
address
than
the
one
I
provided.
I
feel
he
could
have
taken
steps
to
double
check.
Instead,
Joseph
alluded
that
the
system
was
right
and
insisted
I
already
took
multiple
classes.
I
even
asked
which
ones
I
attended
just
to
figure
out
what
was
wrong,
which
he
could
not
answer.
He
even
called
Irvine
to
ask
if
I
was
frustrated
as
if
I
was
going
through
great
lengths
to
get
extra
free
classes.
Normally,
I
wouldn't
want
to
complain
about
this
matter
but
I
felt
the
service
provided
by
Joseph
at
OTF
Tustin
was
extremely
unwelcoming
and
unprofessional.
Rather
than
try
to
figure
out
how
to
resolve
an
issue,
Joseph
turned
me
away
and
then
called
the
Irvine
location
to
ask
about
my
reaction.
It's
crazy
the
lengths
he
went
to
be
right
rather
than
help
a
customer.
I
did
sign
up
through
another
location
but
felt
that
this
customer
service
experience
at
this
specific
location
should
be
addressed.
