Probably my favorite trail in Irvine! Its so beautiful here and peaceful. Although, there are always people here and can sometimes be a little busy for a hike.. other than that, there are lots of mountains with good incline. You can really work up a sweat. The scenery is very pretty, and the size of this place is huge. Can spend about half a day here.

One of my go to trails. It is a 4 mile walk filled with in and declines for a great hour+ workout! Do bring water for your dog and avoid taking your furry one in a hot summer day. The upper part of the trail does not have much, if any, shade to cool down from. That also means wear your sunscreen!!!

Last visit here was during the summer where it was all dead. Now it's nice and green especially with the recent rain. Lake is not dried up and a few wildflowers here and there throughout the area. Trails with the inclines make for some nice views.

Good hike. There is alot of greens along the way. So it is nice and chill. Not super tough. Parking in $3

Great place for a walk or an easy hike. Several trails available. Facilities at the north and south ends. Come early...it can get very crowded.

It's such an awesome hike! We totally enjoy as a family. It has a little bit of everything, flat, up hill, rocky, sandy, has beautiful trees, and benches here an there to rest. I love it!

This was a beautiful place to go hike at . There are house around but overall everyone around me was friendly . Come here if you are near the Orange County area . I highly recommend to you are a nature lover . You will get a lot of green views and beautiful sun set views.

Such a good trail for just walking or working out, many options for harder or easier paths. I could see this being a great park for trail runners. Two peaks with great views (of a neighborhood but still high up enough to see to the ocean) and a paved option for those with mobility issues as well.

Many levels of difficulty. Usually warm bring water bc there's no water anywhere in the park. There are Port-a-Potty's on the lower area only. Some of the lower areas are shaded, yet most aren't.

Beautiful place to hike, I especially love the little Creek Trail. It wasn’t too busy during the week, just be sure to take plenty of water as the trails I took had hardly any shade.

Its my favorite local place to visit for hiking. Its not remote but it offers enough low land desert nature for my needs. The 5.9 mile loop is great exercise and is a challenge for any age. I grew to love this canyon despite the close proximity of homes. It has it all. Trails and nature. Come here.

What I love about this trail is that you don't have to drive forever to get to the middle of nowhere with the craziest steep hills. It's an awesome workout. And you can choose flatter hikes as well.

Great trail. No trees though as the fire took them out. Bring an umbrella.

Very Limited parking but the trail is just beautiful with all the spring flowers and beautiful blue sky.

Always a close by favorite trail. Lots of different trails to take Peters Canyon is really huge so there are lots of options for trails to take. Always a good mix of mountain views and greenery. If you decide to go and you don't want to have a huge crowd go Mon thru Wed before 4p. Usually in the early evening and especially on the weekends it becomes pretty crowded and harder to find parking.
