It is highly DISCOURAGED to stay here. The place is smacked right in the middle of nowhere. The only 2 good things about the place are the breakfast, it’s near the lake and it has an indoor pool. Here is the list of things that left a negative impression on me as a guest. 1. The smell of animal dung or manure wafts through the air ALL NIGHT. The smell is so bad we had to close our room completely. 2. It does not feel like a hotel at all. It’s like a huge clinic with different departments that they made into badly decorated apartments. When you get inside, it smells like it has not been regularly freshened up. The glass windows and door are not clean. 3. The toilet looks, smells and feels like a public toilet. There were dark molds in the toilet bowl. 4. There is no room service for food. You have to walk far to get to the restaurant. 5. They do not have elevators. 6. Poor upkeeping. About the location: 1. It is far from the train station. 15-20 minutes walk going up and down the hill. It is highly discouraging if you don’t have a car. 2. Bernried has few or no stores to buy anything from. No offense to the locals, but Bernried is like a ghost town. It was a regrettable idea to go to this place. PS: Hotel Marina management, you have received numerous negative reviews, especially about the conditions of your rooms. You have those comments from months ago but it seems that you have not done anything much except for apologize. Maybe do something about the condition of your rooms.

Cozy spacious room and balcony with lake view. Standard buffet with two slots either 07:00-09:00 or 09:00-10:30 am. The breakfast hall has a view of sailing boats in the front. There is a private walkway for the hotel alongside the lake. Good location and direct view to the lake. Rooms are located in small blocks and are not at all congested.

Nice hotel complex with lots of rooms and space. Included wellness area with sauna, pool and fitness room. Free coffee or tea in the lounge area. Tasty big breakfast buffet, tho we had to wait in queue until a free table was available. Stayed two nights and were enjoying it. Only negative point is the WLan, which was not useable indoors at all: As soon as you leave the building, it works as advertised.

Very good hotel with view beside the lake. Breakfast was excellent, specifically the fresh fruits quality.

Spacious rooms and a nice area. The staff were friendly. But we had to wait 25min to be seated at breakfast despite there being numerous tables waiting to be cleared, which was very frustrating. Also some small problems with the room including the shower head being broken and the curtains not really keeping the light out. Not bad, but could've been better.

The hotel has an amazing location. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. But you can’t sleep in because the curtains don’t keep the light out and at 8am a guy starts mowing the lawn on a very noisy little tractor.

Nice restaurant with excellent view of the lake. The terrace is big and on summer days meal can be served there enjoying the peaceful atmosphere provided by the water. They have a quite limited menu, not too many options but food is tasty. Thy also have kids menu. Stuff is friendly and smiling.

It looks like a great place for summer but in March when O stayed it was dreary gray and with out snow so activities were limited. The hotel has great spaces, restaurant staff friendly and provide good service; the breakfast and the large sauna room are great. Rooms could be cleaner and dragging your luggage through stairs isn't fun since they dont have elevators or ramps.

Difficult to complain. Finally useful WLAN, worked flawlessly in my room.
