We got a not very nice experience there. We wanted to order 3 plates for share among the four of us. (the cost of what ever you choose was about 10 Au $). We asked for chicken chopsoy, sweet and sour pork and of course rise. The waitress asked "only 3?" Plates? Ok, what else do you offer us? SHRIMPS! OK. Let's get it too. The food was not well tasting and the shrimps neither. At the time of asking for the bill we supposed would be around 50-55$ but no surprise! 95$... they charged us 45$ only for the Shrimps. .. what a robbery. We'll never come back there.

Options in Tuvalu are limited. We happened upon Blue Ocean a Chinese restaurant. Despite the completely empty restaurant on a Tuesday at 7:15pm we were told the limited menu (nothing printed or written). Basically chicken, pork, beef or fish in a lo mein or chop suey style preparation. Finished with white rice. The portions were generous. Each meal is $10 AUD (cash only throughout the country). No credit or debit cards. Soft drinks consist of can of Coke, Sprite, Pepsi & Fanta. No bottled water. $2.50 AUD The tables all have great overhead fans so there is a consistent breeze to enjoy your meal. No TTC Superwifi available.

Since there are no serious reviews of this place, I can tell you there aren’t a lot of dining choices in Tuvalu, but for simple, filling Chinese food, this spot will definitely do the trick.

I couldnt see the ocean but the steak was blue

Simple, tasty menu of Chinese staples all at $10. Fans over each table are amazing after walking in out of the heat. As an extra bonus, light/cold beer (Chang) was available for $5! Hard to find beer in general on Funafuti and when you do they are usually 8% Red Horse malt liquor. The Chang was a happy surprise.
