Very clean. We stayed there for one night and when we walked in, it smelled of bleach, which I am happy about. The employees were all super polite and kind. They let us check in early, which I know is a pain in the butt, but we appreciated it. The pool was really cute and looked clean, but we didn't use it. We were right next to the ice machine which was annoying, but not a big deal. We wanted to stay another night, but they didn't have any availability as it was righr before spring break. They recommended their sister hotel right by the beach and it was... not as nice. There were people arguing all night, someone banging on the stair banisters, and some mold in the bathrooms. Overall, we would stay here again, but not at the other hotel they own.

This place is in a great location, convenient to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. We walked everywhere. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and very welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious. The pool was never heavily populated so it was enjoyable as I was vacationing with my 21 month old daughter.

This hotel is not ocean front. It's across the street. No view of the ocean at all. But just a 5 minute walk from the beach. This hotel DOES NOT offer any breakfast, no phone in the room, no elevator. This a 2 floor hotel and you have to carry your luggage up and down. The ice machine was empty. We couldn't fill our small cooler. There was 2 remotes for the TV. No instructions on what each was for. The menu/instructions on the TV was in Spanish. It took about 20 minutes to get it figured out. No phone to can downstairs and ask for Guidance. The room was a little stuffy. Thank goodness the c windows open up. Checkout is at 11am! They was hesitant to give us an extra hour even though we didn't check in until 1am. The fridge needs to be defrosted and room could use a few updates. The lamp in the corner would barely come on. It was very dim as well as the bathroom mirror light. There's not a clock in the room. Only on the microwave. The outlet did not work on the nightstand in Rm 205. There was so many issues. This hotel should only be offered under 100$. I do not recommend this hotel. Thank goodness the hotel was 1 minute walking distance from the Sunrise restaurant for breakfast option.

The young man who checked us in was one of the friendliest front desk people we met on our trip. He was great! When we arrived Tybee Island had a boil water advisory on and he took really good care of us. My only complaint is the bed was harder then I like. I will definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at Admiral's Inn in Tybee Island, Georgia was truly a pleasure. The staff, specifically Cathy and Madison, were incredibly personable, courteous, professional, and extremely helpful throughout my entire visit. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had an enjoyable stay. Both of them were incredibly helpful with any questions I had and were always willing to assist me in any way they could. During my stay, I had an entertaining conversation with them about the local area and their favorite things to do on Tybee Island. Madison even shared a hilarious story about her run-in with a wild raccoon while walking on the beach one evening. Overall, my experience at Admiral's Inn was fantastic and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Although there is no view of the beach, the rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. The parking is free and the front desk is helpful. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room and a coffee maker. Breakfast is not included but the Sunrise Restaurant is right next door.

firstly, the front desk crew had all the lights off so when you arrive it looks like the place is not even open. Scary! There is no included breakfast even though the website says there is. There is no elevator! You must climb the stairs with your luggage. The rooms got a bit of a revamp but the rest of the building did not. The hallway is DISGUSTING(see photo). I can’t even fathom why they would spend so much money doing a cheap flip on the rooms but could not afford to lay a new length of carpet in the hallway. The mattresses and pillows are the worst I’ve ever used - hard and no fluff. I did run into another guest who had just gone out and bought pillows to use during their stay. The room floors don’t get cleaned when the rooms are flipped so they are full of sand. The wiring is a little screwy also. The lamp switch next to the bed turns on a different light in the room. The AC unit hasn’t been cleaned and it pumps out musty air. This place looks good via the Internet but as soon as you walk in you can tell it’s not that great. It’s all a façade. I picked this place because it was just two blocks from the beach and the cheapest place that included breakfast – which it did not. In hindsight I would have paid a couple hundred dollars more to stay someplace that had a balcony or windows that open.

Horrible stay! The staff was great! Cathy is awesome however the owners are working them in 12 hour shifts. She’s been the 6 years however my sense is she will be gone soon. Our TV never worked. Essential to a stay. Oh well. The faucet in the sink sprayed everywhere. This place is in need of help don’t stay here!

This place stole money from me. Had a trip booked down there for my wife's birthday. Had to cancel due to coming down with covid two days before our trip. Spoke to Louis over the phone, asking to cancel. He said it was okay and that I wouldn't be charged anything else and would be refunded my deposit. Waited 7 to 10 days. No refund. Called the hotel to see what was going on. Lady that answered was very rude. Didn't care that we had covid. Said Louis doesn't work there often. She also said that she rented the room out for the same night she charged me for. Stay away from these greedy people.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! Very disappointed with our stay, our sheets had stains on them! The bathroom was dirty. We were woken up by workers barging in our room without knocking! We had our one year old with us which made it even worse, very inconsiderate. We went to the front desk to request late check out (being that we got in at midnight) the receptionist said that our keys had been dropped off at the front so she had already checked us out, I ask how was our keys dropped off if we had them the whole time she said it was an accident…. HOW? That would explain why we were woken up like that! Workers were coughing/throwing up all over the entire morning on top of that! Also they didn’t have ANY complimentary items like other places ( toothbrushes, plastic silverware etc) very very very disappointed!

A clean and updated hotel. Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived early, and they allowed us to store our luggage up front until our room was ready so that we could get lunch. Would definitely recommend this place!

When we first arrived, we were not given a warm greeting and automatically started with fees including a 100.00 deposit. An email was sent upon booking that stated only for guests paying by Debit Card. The rude older woman stated it was for everyone even though our room was paid for through a traveling site. No mention of where the pool was located or other amenities on the property since the fees were the topic. Plenty of signs everywhere on the fees or such charged for various things. The Room was nice but the sofa bed had not been cleaned for months it also had dirty sheets on it from previous guests.

Overall great location and nice people at the front desk that gave local highlights/suggestions. The hotel itself needs some work. The walls are pretty thin and carpets and pretty bad in the hallways. Shower is a bit janky too and I dont think its worth 140 a night? There was a concert in town though.

The positives - the location is walking distance to a nice beach, and the woman who checked us in was super nice. The negatives - our a/c did not work, there were food crumbs on the sheets on one bed, there was what looked like blood stains on a large part of a pillow case on the other bed, there were multiple hairs on the floor, the shower curtain didn’t stop water from getting all over the floor (when I mopped it up the towels were dirty brown so the floor hadn’t been mopped in some time) and the towels smelled like cigarettes. We paid $140 for the night which was the cheapest with decent reviews that we could find on the island. It was not at all worth the money saved.

BEWARE OF THE ORANGE CRUSH WEEK IN APRIL!!! We booked this hotel for our elopement. The hotel staff was extremely sparse. Had to ask the front desk for trash bags and towels. No complementary breakfast due to COVID even though other hotels in the area had it. Orange Crush Festival brought in a lot of police presence and the whole town seemed disgruntled/exhausted. Drunk girl from the festival came into the lobby asking to use a public restroom, receptionist told her no public restrooms. Girl peed in the floor and tried to come across the counter at the receptionist. The pool was nice, but given the environment, I did not feel comfortable with my 6 year old.

The place was filthy. We checked in and went to our room where we found hair all over the floor and sink. There was urine on the floor by the toilet. The shower door was broken and replaced with a curtain. The bench to put our luggage on was all broken and falling apart. The bed consisted of a mattress on top of a piece of plywood. When we arrived we told the lady at the front desk about the room and she said if we hung a maid sign on the door we would have it cleaned the next day. We accepted that, but the next day came and no one cleaned the room. We had enough and checked out 3 nights early and went to a much better hotel down the street. Now I’m expecting a fight with them to get my money back. My advice is if this is the only hotel left with availability on tybee island. Sleep in your car. This is a $15 a night hotel no better in my opinion.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here! Next time we drive down to Tybee this will definitely be our place to stay. Clean rooms, the pictures shown on the website and in reviews...are actually what you get! Great location, w/in walking distance of lots of great restaurants and shops. The beach is further back, across the street from the hotel but still within walking distance. Check-in and check out was a breeze. No elevator

My husband and I stayed at the Admiral's Inn earlier this week for our Spring Break and it was a very enjoyable stay. Pictures are very accurate. We stayed on the first floor and it is very accessible. Nicely remodeled, just wished the bathroom had a fan and more lighting. It was great to have a microwave and mini fridge. The Inn is less than a block from the beach and the main shops, both are very easy walks. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back for another stay!

Nice place clean, close to a lot of places including the South end of the beach. This beach has music on the pier along with drinks and snacks. The North Beach area is not as active. Depends on which style you desire while visiting Tybee Island.

Number 1 - no elevator, not an issue for young people. Only 2 floors. No cleaning services, new renovated rooms, nice beds. Great location to walk everywhere. Nice local folks and very informative. Some issues with bathroom facet and TV. No breakfast, phones or alarm clocks in the rooms. Nice pool area.

Location was great for those who are looking to be within walking distance of alot including the beach. The room was good but the show made it awesome. He's the yikes no breakfast not even coffee anywhere, several people found they had to leave hotel to get coffee. Nice desk receptionist so it's okay just get some coffee or tea please.

Great location next to beach. 5 minute walk. Many things to do along way. Even walked to light house and back. We're crazy I know, but doable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Loved how close it was to everything. Lots of room in bathroom for cleaning up after the beach.

Pros: 1. Clean rooms (other than one small red stain on our comforter) 2. Nice pool area 3. About 1 block from the beach 4. Mostly friendly staff. Quick response when our TV wasn't working. 5. Rooms have hard floors which is much more conducive to sand than carpet 6. Close proximity to restaurants, bars, etc. 7. Ice machine 8. Off street parking Cons: 1. Room phone was disconnected (staff said they all are), so we had to use cell phones to call the Inn. 2. Could use some renovations. The upstairs hallway is carpet and smells musty. Bathrooms need updates 3. No elevator (tough for coolers or if you have luggage) 4. No printer available for tickets, etc. We had to go to the local library. 5. No breakfast/coffee 6. Poor water pressure in showers (especially problematic if you have saltwater in your hair!) Overall, the hotel is adequate (especially for 1-2 night stays), but overpriced. Its location and pool are its greatest strengths.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was great. Everyone was nice and everything was clean. Its a party town so there is some music & noise late at night, but its not too bad and definitely not the staffs fault. Thank you for our stay!

NOT A THREE STAR, NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Their signage outside & website say updated rooms. DEFINITELY NOT. Sign in bathroom says don't hang towels on shower door. Well our shower was missing the door and had a shower curtain hanging, halfway. No towel rack to hang towels, hook on back of bathroom busted off. Light fixtures filthy with dead bugs. Holes in walls, dust all over edges of floor. Window seal filthy, more dead bugs, ripped screen. Pillows very hard. I will say bed was clean, and nice size refrigerator. Couldn't hear anyone around us. Hallways, same dirt layed on floor the entire 4 days. Forget the pool, not clean. No blow dryer in room, asked for one at front desk, said I'll try to find one. They did provide. Day 2 needed towels, said to bring ours down and they'll give us replacement. I asked why I have to bring them down. We left for day, and got back and they did give us clean towels. I'm sorry but if your paying $179 bring me towels. Had to get them ourselves the rest of stay. Room not cleaned entire 4 days. Stayed only because our bed was clean, and no refund policy. No coffee in lobby, nothing free. Bring your own body washes, shampoos. Won't stay here again!. Over paid. Request first floor if you have luggage, otherwise you drag it up flights of stairs.

The owner is EXTREMELY CHEAP ! Spent over $700 on bedrooms (family came as a group) could not even receive a complimentary water when asked. NON HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!! Only provided 3 pillows on each bed with only 3 rags and towels as well. In a double king bedroom. TV WAS OUT OF ORDER FOR an entire night. Front desk concierge did NOT provide welcoming customer service. Vending machines kept taking the money for drinks and snacks nothing was done about it. Definitely an unpleasant stay. 0/10 highly do not recommend. Over priced & under worked workers including house keeping crew. Harassment from house keeping after already informing the room was being extended. Terrible experience!!!!! Will not book again.
