Today, my husband took me on a surprise date to Tyler from Shreveport, Louisiana. Eating at this restaurant was a blessing AND a curse. Now I have to live my life knowing that the best Italian restaurant is a TWO hour drive away! 😭 Just kidding, we have no regrets. We were so blown away by each dish we got from Oliveto. I apologize for the photos of the appetizers, they were SO GOOD that we gobbled them down immediately before I could get a picture. The bread sticks were well worth the money, the calamari was not chewy at all, and their tomato bisque soup is a new favorite of mine. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and my husband described the meatballs as an "art". They were tender, steaming hot, and full of flavor. Somehow, they didn't fall apart when I cut into them despite them not being even slightly dry. Dessert blew me away as well. Every single dish we got was piping hot and exceeded my every expectation. To top off our experience, the service was also amazing! She was friendly and took great care of us. Well worth the drive, I hope we can make it back soon!!

Visited Oliveto on a Monday night; they were not very busy. We ordered the Asiago Spinach Dip for our appetizer. The spinach dip did not disappoint at all; it was very good! For the main course, I ordered the Caliente Chicken. The Caliente Chicken had great flavor and spice. I was very pleased with that dish. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which she also liked. For dessert, we ordered the deep dish cookie. The cookie was a little bit over cooked, but was still a tasty treat. Aside from the overdone cookie, the only other, “less than 5 star experience” was the service. The restaurant was somewhat slow and so was our service. It took our server a very long time to get back to our table many times. He also was not the most observant. (Taking empty plates that had been put on the edge of the table, asking us if we were ready to order, etc.) I think some of this can be attributed to the fact that he was the only server I saw during our visit. Again, they were slow, there were only about 7 tables occupied. However, I think our server was servicing all of the tables. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and plan to return in the future.

It was a take out order that was not correct. Called and spoke with kitchen manager who basically refused to make order correct. Said he was to busy to deal with this tonight and I could bring food back next day and he would refund me. I have read some of the reviews and it seems like it is the customer service that is so bad not the food. We have dined in before and there has been issues with salads being wily and portions small. Servers not so happy or friendly. Surprised they are still open. Will not be returning.

Amazing food and we were able to share a super Romantic evening. Server was super friendly, will go back again.

I read the reviews before I went, so when I arrived to the front door I knew there would be a sign about them being short staffed. There were a few people already sitting while I was being seated at the bar. The bartender took my drink order and tended to a few other folks along with getting another woman order ready. I ordered jalapeno risotto first then as shes bringing it to me I hear her say they only have one cook. Okay!? Then she has to leave to get to get second job, yet you would hav never knew she was rushing out to go pick up her son( I heard all that while sitting). She came back to take my order and I asked for my bill while I had a chance, I knew she was busy there was only a good six of them there. Anywho, I didn't care much about parts of the risotto (mushrooms) yet it was favorable. I also ordered the 3 skillet al forno and the sauce in itself is amazing. Not to bold but not weak either, so yeah the experience and food was delicious.

Was just browsing different restaurants in my area and wanted to try out this place. The food in the photos looked amazing! I went in and ordered pizza bread for an appetizer, delicious! For the entrée I ordered the red and white ravioli which was amazing! It is very saucy, very very saucy so if that's not your thing, I do not recommend it. I did not finish the appetizer or the entrée. Both orders came out at a reasonable time and there was no wait to be seated! If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by and trying it out yourself!

The shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta is really good. I have eaten here at least 6 times with having different meals each time. The food and the service has always been excellent. Their bread pudding with ice cream is what wonderful dreams are made of.

Nice place. I had the lasagna and it was great, not a big fan of their bread sticks. They are very plain and a little tough to eat, but don't let that put you off from trying it, the entrees are great

My breadsticks were cold, the alfredo sauce was cold, my pasta was cold and my nachos were cold… This place was recommended by a friend but I was disappointed! I can’t recommend it to my friends or family. It was less than par… truly disappointing. Pricey too… sad!

My experience with Oliveto is primarily with takeout and catering and I highly recommend them! They do a great job with catering and have some wonderful gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions but still wanting some pasta! My family loves their Chicken Parmesan and I appreciate not having to make it for them. 🤪

Do not order from them online. They took my order then when I got there their phone was off the hook. I honked and honked and waved but no one answered. Finally some workers were leaving so I asked about my order. They went back inside to tell them. A few minutes later a woman brought my order out to the car. I said I tried to call but the phone was off the hook. I said I thought you were closed or something. She snapped at me and said ‘we ARE’ then turned and walked away briskly. How rude!!! Why take my order if you’re about to close then leave me no way to contact you when I arrive? My food was COLD by the time I got it. UGH PS They left off the cheese and breadstick on my child’s meal and didn’t reduce the meatball as expected. Please show some love to your loyal customers! Tyler will love you back for it.

Oh my! My husband loves that place. And I do too .We are always in a hurry so that’s our go-to. Everyone is so friendly. The place is excessively clean. And we understand the menu and what is in all the items we order.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! Me and my fiancé went and the food was SOOOO GOOOD!!!! So resembly priced too for everything we got! We got an appetizer, two meals and a desert for $42! Service and atmosphere was also down right amazing! Kind staff and Amazing music We plan to make this our regular place to eat!

Great little lunch place. Had a couple of unique pizzas and found the prices very reasonable and delicious. I liked it and Id be back. ....but please renovate your bathrooms and have soap in the dispensers.

Ordered dinner for my daughter and myself today as she is here from out of town. Wanted to try something we have not had before or have back home. Order the Asagio Spinach and chicken it was good but bland. Breadsticks were more like bread bricks and the cheesecake is spoiled. $60 wasted and not a good experience for us. Super disappointing….

Food was Good . Service was cool . The restaurant itself is kinda run down. Tables were rocky , big whole in the ceiling, and sauce on the lights fixtures.

The service was great and the food was delicious! The portions are a pretty good size. I had to get a to go container!

After moving here to Tyler two weeks ago, we hadn't found a restaurant that we'd want to come to on a regular basis. Until now. Oliveto's had a nice menu selection (and not just the usual Italian dishes). I had Rigatoni Rustica, and my wife had Chicken Scallopini. Both were well prepared and very tasty. Portion size left us asking for to-go boxes. We will be back again.

The food was delicious! I love that they have gluten free! Bruschetta Sundae is very good. The chocolate martini is a must have!!

Excellent food. Made fresh coffee for us. Had cauliflower rice options for those of us that didn't want pasta. All 4 meals were very good quality and taste. Would go back.

Food was very good but service not so good. Table of seven celebrating 13 birthday. When called about reservations was told they could do a cupcake with candle for the birthday celebration. When I ask about it, waitstaff said we don’t do that, you have to order from menu. Also tried to order decaf, told we don’t have that! Waitress was not very happy to be there!

The restaurant is understaffed and we had a small wait time to be seated. If you understand this going into the restaurant you can chill and enjoy talking while you wait. When we were seated, the service was good. Our food was enjoyable.

I’m sadden to give this place such a low rating because the food is wonderful. This place has definitely gone downhill since our last visit. Our service was horrible. We had to wait more than 10 min to be able to get a table. Nobody ever acknowledged we were actually waiting to be seated. Several other couples behind us ended up leaving because nobody ever came to the hostess booth. When we finally got seated we got a booth beside a huge leak in the roof. It was constantly dripping and there was water all over the floor and furniture. Halfway during our meal we heard a really loud noise and the ceiling square come flying down. Pieces shattered all over the floor, furniture and our food. It was definitely not a pleasant experience. I’ll be back but definitely will not be dinning in again.

Fast service. My wife and I ordered our food and it was ready in no time. Our waitress, Katie, was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of without being in the way. Great atmosphere, quiet, food was outstanding. My wife cleared her plate of shrimp marsala, I had the basic spaghetti and meatballs which let me tell you were beyond phenom (I couldn't finish). Awesome place, awesome staff, awesome food. Definitely going on the regular go-to list
