    I had herd great things about this place. 1st our server was horrible, literally the worst server I've ever encountered. Being Texas born but reside in Missouri I was thinking everything in Texas was bigger and better right? Well the only thing big here was my bill. I have attached a picture from a Missouri Mexican food restaurant of the same thing I ordered from Posados. It's definitely a bigger portion with better shrimp ( Aren't yall closer to the shrimp than us?) and a fraction of the cost.

    Met up with some friends here while we were in town and the food, service and adult beverages were beyond amazing! Special shout out to our amazing and fun waiter Scottie as he made the entire experience even better with his fun personality and spectacular service! Will definitely be back when we are in town.

    What a joke. So I came in here for lunch (not wanting to spend $20) and the cheapest thing on the menu is a quesadilla for $12.99. It came with rice and beans so I thought I would give it a shot. Now everything tasted good but it was the tiniest portions I’ve ever seen. I mean who skimps out on beans? Rice? I won’t be back.

    Bryan R was our waiter and he was absolutely the BEST!!!! he was so friendly and we never got low on anything..I even called the mgr and told him ...very good service and food

    Dined in with a group tonight and had a wonderful experience - food, drinks and vibe were excellent but have to give a huge shout out to our waitress Raven! She was attentive and efficient and had awesome recommendations. We already want to come back but especially if we can have Raven as our waitress again. Thanks for a great time!

    Looks better outside than inside. The food was absolutely excellent. I had chicken tacos which were some of the best I have eaten. My wife had cheese enchiladas which she said was excellent. I felt the tea was just OK, my wife thought it was very good. The service lacked a little, until tip time, then service picked up tremendously. I paid a visit to the bathroom, where I heroically waged war on a German Cockroach. Fought it to its death I did. I guess it is difficult to be 100% pest free in food service, with all the deliveries from warehouses. Over all, great food, fair service, and a good value for today's market. I would return here to eat again.

    This place is definitely declining. A state is all we received upon entering. I had to ask if we could have a table for three to the young lady. She just marked us on a table, and said, “follow me.” Our waiter, I am thinking it was Eric?, was very attentive and kind. The food and cleanliness was barely a two star. What used to be an amazing restaurant has definitely gone down hill. Probably won’t be back there any time soon. A roach ran across the check in table at our last visit. :@

    Always a family favorite for any occasion! Always the best service and not one food order wrong in our party of 15. Very friendly and stayed on top of our drink refills and any extra things we asked for. Love this place

    It was okay, chain food. Nothing outstanding. My husband had the chicken fajitas and there was no sizzle when it was brought to the table. The chicken resembled more of a turkey breast consistency. I had cheese enchiladas and green hatch chili and that was decent. The cilantro lime rice reminded me of Uncle Bens kind of texture. Nothing was particularly hot. Probably wouldn't go again. The server was good and refilled our drinks and chips.

    This is a place where my wife and I met and ate at 30 years ago when we first met. It’s has sentimental value to us. Food is good. Decent prices. My favorite items are the spicy chips. The Fiesta Sampler is great.

    Great food, terrible waitress. Felt very unwanted based on her tone when talking to us and also took 25 mins to come back to our table when we asked for a couple more mins to decide. Also didn't care to listen to my mother when ordering her food, then the food came back with the wrong stuff, and we asked to correct it, and we were argued with initially about what was said.

    Visited on May 3rd, first and last time at this restaurant location, Erin was our waitress, my daughter and her boyfriend got their food, but for some reason my order was never put in. Then when it did get put in, she put in the Fiesta nachos instead of the beef nachos, then she argued with me about charging me for the wrong food. Finally got them to charge me for what I did order, left my Fiesta nachos mostly untouched and left. The only thing good about the dinner was the chips and salsa.

    Horrible Horrible lunch at $13 per person... $26 +20% tip. Not server's fault. Will never try this place again. Have already shared the dining disgusting experience with all of our family & friends in the Tyler area & beyond. We have to stop trying places that don't come with solid referrals so as to never have such an occurrence again. Dining costs have skyrocketed during Covid ... especially post Covid with no true legitimate justification for overpriced & poor food presentation. No excuses guys! If you want repeat business & loyal customers, earn it! Sad that quality, service & pricing are no longer believed as essential in earning & retaining a loyal customer base. Hate having to leave such a negative factual but truthful commentary. Hope you take this review seriously as it is intended to highlight issues needing redress.

    Very disappointed with the way this restaurant operates. I feel like I was scammed. Ordered $50 worth of food online plus tip like I normally do. I picked up the food and drove home. Got home & order was completely wrong. They had given me someone else’s order. Called the restaurant & was told by the lady who handed me my food I could come back and they would remake my food or they would put my name down in a book and I could come back at anytime and they would make my correct order at no charge. Great. Well I went back to get my order recently and was given the runaround. Manager says he found my receipt from that day but claims he didn’t see anything about an incorrect order to remake , etc. etc. Told him exactly what I was told on the telephone and he just kept saying he didn’t see anything etc , etc. Note if you have a messed up order from this place don’t wait , go immediately and get your order remade or get a refund. If not they will tell you whatever and then when you come to claim your food you will get a nothing answer. I was “offered” a 20% discount if I wanted to order food that day?!

    Usually when I come to posada's the service is horrible as far as waitress the food is way too spicy having to wait for refills and etc. Tonight was perfect. Food was great. My waitress (I think she said her name was Niki {no racism but she was black},)did an amazing job. She was on top of everything. Offering other food. I was just really amazed.

    One reason we don't go to Posadas after dark is their parking lot lights are never on! Either their too cheap to fix them or they don't bother to turn them on.

    I'm just going to say it was okay. I remember them being better than this but it's changed in the decade + years I've been away from Tyler. I decided to eat here for nostalgia sake...anyways, the fajita quesadillas were sweet tasting (I've never...), the taquitos were pencil thin and not good, and had absolutely no taste. I placed my order online and by the time I arrived, giving them about 10 minutes extra since it was a weekend...it still wasn't ready when I arrived. There was a line of people waiting for their to-go pick-up orders and no one at the counter to acknowledge me or anyone else upon arrival...Manager get your staff together. Anyways, Taco Bueno might've been better.

    We got seated in Bryan R’s section and we are glad we did. He was very personable & warm! Bryan was also helpful with the questions I had about the menu. I appreciate him telling me about his recommendations. I think he deserves a raise! The rest of the staff weren’t as friendly but maybe it was because of the rain.

    This restaurant, along with Happys, has excellent food and exceptional service. The servers are well trained, professional and accommodating. A rarity these days in restaurants where the entitled want a great tip for poor service.

    I love Posados. Their beef fajitas are the best in East Texas. Their salsa is delicious. Their alcoholic beverages are amazing. Their tortillas and chips are made fresh. I've never had a bad experience with service. The atmosphere is like beinh at home.

    The atmosphere here is very nice and the food tasted so good! My husband has a pretty severe shellfish allergy and our waitress and other staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our waitress’ name was Jessica and she was knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and fantastic!! Definitely recommend this place!!

    Normally we love going here and will continue. Our service was awful, after seated by the window up front today 11/7/22 2pm srvc our waitress rolled her eyes cause she had to go ask if pork was in the beans.. husband can't eat bacon or pork she was snippy. I asked beforehand if she could tell the chef cook to make sure to leave my veggies in a little longer for tenderness?! Nope I got RAW! Veggies. I asked her to throw them back in the oven 5 minutes, nope 15 minutes later this burnt slop is what she gave us. We will never sit up front again clearly she hates her job. Normally I get my favorite veggies fajitas . Thanks Posados way to go. Gave them another try , everything was worse, sat us next a rude loud group of twenty, had to ask a bunch of times to even get a drink order in Food too. Right down to a servers child sleeping four tables away from us, that's no place for a child what no office at least, poor kid.

    Stopped by for lunch today and had a great experience. Our server was Rebecca and she was very polite, professional and knowledgeable of the menu. She was very attentive and always kept our glasses full. Food came out sizzling hot and full of great flavors. No issues whatsoever! Highly recommend Rebecca and this establishment overall.

    The food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Drinks were slow to arrive, another server delivered our food (no biggie) and then we had to ask another server to get us our check. Just a little disappointed.

    I used to work here back when I was in nursing school and the food was great but now this place has went so down hill. The food and service have been lacking the last few times I've been here but this time was the worst and I will not be back. To start I ordered beef and shrimp fajitas. I was given beef, shrimp and chicken but was not given beef even after I took the chicken off my plate, and I told the server I just wanted beef and shrimp. No manager came by to check on my visit which normally happens but lately does not seem to happen ever. They used to weight the meat and they clearly quit doing that bc I had 3 times the amount of chicken as I did beef. The chicken is dry and that is why I do not eat it anymore. I barely had enough beef for one fajita. I also was only given one napkin which I had to use to clean up my drink that was over filled and spilt all on my plate and table.

    Normally service is great. We placed a to go order over the phone for over $100. Picked it up, got home, and one meal was missing. Had to drive back to get it while everyone else's food got cold waiting. Even when i got there, there was no one manning the to go counter and 3 to go customers were backed up, standing around looking to be helped. This wasn't peak dining hours either. They always say you get the worst service when the business is the slowest, seems to be the case. Even after getting help, there was an additional 10 minute wait for one entree, on top of the 10 minutes prior that we called to let them know we were coming back to get it. If one employee can't verify bag contents against the receipt, might want to find someone who can.

    Went for lunch and wasn't busy at all. Food was not fresh. Rice was dry and crunchy as if it was reheated from the previous day. Taco shell was definitely stale. Charro beans had no flavor and watered down. Salsa and chips were the only thing good in my opinion. Our waitress was good and attentive.

    The host was very rude, tried sitting us at a dirty table with a dirty high chair and wanted us to seat a 1 year old in the dirty high chair, was rude when we asked for another table or for the table and coke off the floor to be cleaned, waited at least 30 mins for another high chair to be brought, waitress was nice but inattentive, waited on our food for close to an hour, only good thing was the food was good. But Overall was not a good experience.

    Spent most of my time there waiting on my food. They got it wrong 2 times. I ordered in Spanish also because I could tell the waitress was struggling with everyone there. Not only did my food come out wrong both times. I decided to cancel my order and I was going to pay for my drinks and go. In a last ditch effort they again gave me the wrong order.     I hate saying it, but this place is below average. I’ve had to order for someone else three weeks in a row and I get chewed out every time because items are left out, the order isn’t as requested, etc. I’ve been very clear when ordering carry out and the guy at the counter repeats it back perfectly. I guess whoever preps the order isn’t paying attention? Each time items are left out, my bad for not checking before I leave. I just don’t have time for that and it isn’t my job to perfect the order. Since when did fajitas come with about a pound of onions and two slivers of pepper? Requested light onions, got half a pound of onion with a couple pepper slivers. Definitely overpriced. Don’t bother with the fajitas for two special on Wednesdays. Just don’t. Either the online menu needs a serious update or whoever puts together the order needs more training.
