Worst experience ever at IHOP located on 115 Loop 323 Tyler, Texas 75701. Food was disgusting. Let’s start with the server Kim who did not refill drinks at all. Purchase grits that were ice cold. My daughters cupcake pancakes look like they were covered in snot. Eggs and bacon look like they were from Great Value kitchen, plates had small size portions for 54.00 it was not worth it. I will NOT return to this location in the future.

We go to IHOP at like 4am. We’re greeted. Waitress let’s us seat ourselves because it’s empty. Takes our order. She brings out the food. “So actually we’re out if hamburger buns, so they put it on toast instead. I hope that’s okay.” I take it as is and she goes about her way. It was fine, but I just wish she would’ve asked me if it was okay before it was made. I really hate crust, especially on toast. It’s too hard. I had to pick it off by hand since I was only provided with a butter knife. If she would’ve asked me before, I would’ve requested the crust to be cut off before toasting. That way it wouldn’t make such a mess for me and the busboy. Also, I was out of drink for a while. She didn’t come by to check on us until she asked about the bill. I even had set my cup on the edge of the table, so she could see it beforehand. She finally brought a refill with the bill, but at that point I was practically done. The burger was good, though. Even with toast. The fries were mediocre. But the service wasn’t that good. She was nice but not attentive nor considerate. Now, the cook might have not told her until the food was ready. Either way, it’s someone’s fault that I wasn’t asked ahead of time.

So, my school does a lot of performances in theater. This place has served as well each and every time. And we've come in with a total of about 55 people. They are very nice and patient with all of us and they enjoy our company very well. All and out good place their food is good their service is great and it's just a really good place to hang out after doing a theater performance.

They were busy, but didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress was very sweet and the food was great! I think the problem was the kitchen, maybe short handed? It took almost an hour from ordering to get our breakfast.

If you want cafeteria food, you will get better food at Golden Corral. This was the worst food that I have ever been served. Absolutely nothing fresh on the menu available. No salad or fresh vegetables. There is no taste. The area is very small with bathrooms that go through a kitchen prep hallway. Staff is friendly but forgetful. Eat somewhere else.

The service here is incredible. They were busy, short handed and stressed but still maintained a smile and happy demeanor. I was very impressed. The food was also very good. Cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great. Definitely will be back.

Very nice down home IHOP! Definitely busy but quiet. That’s what’s best about these places. Staff was nice and friendly. Quick with service and good attitudes. Food as always was great. I’ve tried a couple of different IHOPs and this is my favorite so far. It just had more of a home like feel to me. Thanks

We normally have a great time here, but this time was beyond amazing. There were two people in the kitchen and ONE server for the WHOLE restaurant and he was kicking @$$!!!! I was thoroughly impressed! I don't remember the guys name, but he did an AMAZING job. He looked like a thinner version of Stephen King. That guy needs a raise.

Service was very good from start to finish. Coffee was good to start off. The breakfast bowl was fresh and good size and with pancakes too. The omelette my co worker ordered was crazy big. Looked really good too. Ready to take on the day now.

We ate at our usual IHOP in Tyler, TX after a medical procedure. It was at 5:00pm so we were one of 2 customers in the restaurant. Not busy at all on a Friday afternoon. I ordered off the menu - "power pancakes, scrambled egg whites, plant based sausage, and fruit." Just like the menu offered. My husband ordered a Denver omelet without bell pepper. The waitresses didn't seem to know what I was talking about regarding my order so I showed her on the menu. She left. Returned 5 minutes later and made sure I understood that it was "egg whites" on the order. Yep. At least 30 minutes later the place is beginning to fill up and the new customers are getting their food. 45 minutes later we try to catch her and ask her again and again where our order is. She pretends not to hear us until we practically shout at her. Meanwhile I can hear the cook and some of the wait staff talking about my order. "What are power pancakes?" "What is the plant based sausage?" Finally she brings our food with the explanation that "he never made that before." Oh, no. She put the plates down in front of us. My plate had 2 burnt circles of sausage, a revolting oily, worm pile looking thing that was the egg white scramble, and some random pieces of fruit scattered across the center of the warm greasy surface. (Usually, and in the photo, the "seasonal fruit" is in a small bowl.) The "power pancakes" which seemed to give them all such a turn, would have been good had they not been slightly hard and burned on the surface and cold. My husband's Denver omelet was odd in that the cook tossed chopped up overcooked sausage links and what appeared to be burned chopped up roast on top. All in all my restaurant karma is still with me. IHOP was awful.

I have been going to this IHOP most of my life. My parents went to this IHOP on more than too many occasions for some people. They're always friendly, knew my parents by sight and name, and showed my parents that they cared. Since my mom has passed, my dad probably goes more than he used to, and I can honestly say that when he eats there, he feels that he is eating with friends and family. As far as the food, it's IHOP, you either love it or you don't.

The food was good, but the service was definitely lacking.

Food not cooked right over easy eggs, more over done, fish very very small very over priced for what you receive don't match menu at all, chose somewhere else too eat

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I’m a server myself and I do not like complaining but man oh man. To start off the server was absolutely horrible. She got our order and it took about 30 minutes for us to even get it. It was not busy whatsoever but I was patient. My coffee was cold and she never even checked up on us when our food hit the table. We were in there for about an HOUR. She did not take any consideration to us and kept walking by. When she finally came she only took the plates and asked if we needed a to-go box and we said yes. Another 10 minutes passed by and still no check or to-go box. She went to go check other people out so I decided to go and pay because who knows absolutely how long she would’ve taken to give us our check. And let’s not talk about the to-go box because if we hadn’t asked another server we probably would’ve been there all night trying to get a to-go box. I’ve taken a break from this location since last time I came it was EXACTLY the same service I got. Back to back service like this????? Please do better.

My DoorDash order was incorrect. I called the store and spoke with the manager. Barb. She listened to my concerns, offered a couple of options for me to choose from. She hand delivered my order to my house! Exceptional service! She went above and beyond! I am most grateful! Thank you for superb service! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My omelet was overcooked on top of my order being wrong the first time. The server was extremely nice about it, so that was a plus. It will be a while before we return.

Clean, food was delicious, our waitress was so sweet

The food was okay at best. The service has definitely gone down since I last visited this place, and honestly, if I could give it half of a star, I would. We were sitting for a solid 10 minutes before the waiter came to us and asked us for what drinks we were going to have and didn't even give us refills or offer to refill our drinks. It was not busy at all, and I watched the guy showing videos to another one of his friends at the entrance and laughing with other employees. The worst service I could have possibly had, period and will not be going back again

This use to be my favorite IHOP in Tyler. The atmosphere was blah, the service really lacked. The waitress took forever getting our food. They were super stingy with the coffee. We only had enough coffee for one in a half cups for one person, and just one cup for the other person. The Grits were horrible. The steak tips lacked seasoning, and were some what tough. I had more onions than meat. It took 35 minutes for our food to arrive and they only had four tables where we were sitting. When we tried to check out, we were told only our waitress could check us out. She was no where to be found.When one of my party asked a to be checked out, a woman stated that she already told me that she went looking for the waitress and she is coming in a very nasty, and unpleasant tone. What happened to the friendly waitress, and waiters, and the friendly atmosphere? The bacon and the sausage was the only food that was good. Never going back there !!!

I had a hard time believing these pancakes were gluten free friendly!! They were super light and fluffy! Of course everything else was fantastic as well. The service was wonderful and very welcoming. 100% would go again!!😁❤️

Food was pretty good but not amazing. Server I think had a long day before we came in she kept mixing things up or getting stuff wrong. All in all it was a pleasant date night for my wife and I.

Had the worst experience ever tonight at ihop across from Tyler mall. Walked in no one greeted us, had to seat ourselves and wait to receive a menu the waiter was really nice when he finally came around, took over and hour to receive our food and when we got it, it was cold and undercooked. Had to send it back. And left.

We ordered breakfast for dinner. May I gently say the one waiter waiting on the whole full restaurant (both rooms) worked as fast and hard as he could. We waited a good while to order coffee and then order food. When it came out it was delicious. With more help, this could be a thriving place again.

Though it was a little crammed in the restaurant. The food was amazing as well as the service. Food 5/5. Service was absolutely perfect. She was attentive and extremely polite. We will definitely return!

So I ordered the French toast and other options. I was on my way to pick up the order only to find out that they were out of the French toast batter. It’s literally just eggs and milk but okay AND they did not notify me of that before I came. I told the lady to cancel my order and she informed me that she will. I had to call the customer service number to have them cancel it. Still no refund. Had to file a claim with my bank. I do not recommend this location.

It has been remodeled and is still quite small and always full. It's like an icon for Tyler. Good food at a reasonable price and they have a great reward app. Good place for the family to have a meal that doesn't break the bank. Seniors get 10% off regularly priced items. A win win for all ages.

This store is unbelievable, as busy as they are the manager is looking for you and if you are delivering to a customer will personally package for you the customer's order to expedite things. Four stars is the best I can give for a dinering place. What an experience, go and enjoy. I recognize some in the kitchen and give them 4+ as well. Most respect for this crew and best wishes.

The food was delicious. My spinach and mushroom omelet was executed to perfection. My blueberry pancakes were good as well. My wife enjoyed her strawberry banana French toast too. Our waiter, Joshua, was excellent. IHOP clearly isn't a "Five Star" restaurant but it is a far better value!

We arrived around 8:30a.m got seated pretty quick and our drink order was taken in a timely manner. I ordered coffee and sweet tea. Our drinks arrive pretty quick. I wasn’t asked if i wanted creamer which is ok because I also forgot to let our waiter know that i would like creamer. He didn’t come back to see if we needed refills at which time i would have asked for creamer. He shows up with our food 30 min or so later with our food. My over medium eggs were burnt my french toast was cold. My husbands french toast was also cold. The lady sitting in front of us sent her pancakes back because they were also cold. The bath rooms were dirty, no toilet tissue in the roll dispenser. I was disappointed. I could only imagine what the kitchen looked like. If there were a lot of people in the restaurant i would have understood some of it. I would not recommend this particular IHop.

Food was good and served quickly..I was pleasantly surprised at the short wait. My server Ida was nice and did a great job. And definitely have to mention Sweetpea(Robin),she was doing an outstanding job juggling all her duties..ie, hostess, busing tables, and bring food out.

For an IHOP it's alright, you know what you're getting. At least one employee went to the restroom and didn't wash their hands. Our server was kind and responsive. It was crowded when we went, so there was a bit of a wait to be seated and order. All in all it's an average IHOP, not great, but not bad either
