Brand new place done very well. Fantastic ingredients and the kitchen does an incredible job. Everything we had was loaded with flavor, tender, and presented beautifully. Service was professional, quick, and super friendly - never had to flag anyone down, they were on top of everything! If you are looking to splurge a little bit on food in Ubud, you have to come here. Definitely good value for what you are getting, similar experiences usually cost more in Bali. Can’t wait to go back!

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. We found Donna walking down the street and it looked so cool from the outside we knew we had to go there for dinner. Thankfully there was a table available without booking, although we could only use that table for 70 minutes. That wasn't a problem at all as the attentive staff took our order as soon as we were ready. All of the food and drinks came out in record speed so we had plenty of time to enjoy and savor the flavours. The food. Just amazing. We ordered three tapas and one appetiser and each of them were so unique and delicious. The meatballs were served in a ridiculously tasty sauce. We had four cocktails. Each had such a complex and well balanced flavour profile. Two were served in smoked filled containers which not only looks impressive, but imparts a delicate smokey flavour to the drinks. Overall this is such an amazing restaurant and we will certainly return before we fly home. Thanks Sophie and all the team at Donna for an amazing time!

A must visit place in Ubud. Absolutely adored this restaurant. Initially visited for lunch, and the quality was so impressive that I couldn't resist returning for dinner. The food was outstanding; it compelled me to walk up to the kitchen and commend the chef! The service was exactly what you wish for, and the music added to the overall experience. Without a doubt, I would choose to dine here repeatedly. I'm a Donna fan now.

After reading so many good reviews, I decided dinner at Donna was a must. And boy oh boy, am I glad I visited! What exceptional service, food with so much flavour (omg the prawns were life changing) and all in all, a truly enjoyable dining experience. The manager checked in on us regularly and was present and paying attention to everything that was going on. Nothing was too much trouble and as a fussy chef myself, who is discerning and particular, Donna delighted me. Well done.

I have been in Bali for 10 days now and this was hands down the best meal so far! The tapas was excellent and the mains even more so. Service was of a high standard and staff were super friendly. The zucchini tartar, buffalo cauliflower and lamb ragu were particularly good. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends if you want a nice ambience and high quality food whilst here in Ubud!

An amazing place close to the Monkey Forest. We stopped by for cocktails before dinner and we were so impressed by the staff/service and the cocktails. The mezcal negroni and the smoked clove club were amazing! The best cocktails I’ve had in Bali maybe. We will certainly be back to try the tapas in the future.

Absolutely mind blowing! I’m Italian born and I own a restaurant in Australia (Perth). The burrata you get here it’s like having a top burrata in Puglia in the south of Italy, The pasta and the meat were amazing. Very good quality food in a chilled, clubby, beautiful space. Definitely a place to dress up and be seen. The food will likely be welcomed by Western palates. Unfortunately, for our mixed culture taste buds, most dishes fell flat and uninspired. Would recommend for a drink.

Donna is bringing the dining scene in Ubud to the next level. The quality of the food here is comparable to any large city. Seafood is top notch. The gnocchi are like fluffy pillows of air. I felt the buffalo cauliflower had more of a bar bites vibe, and didn’t complement the rest of the food well, but maybe I just didn’t order well. Reservations are a must. The front desk hospitality did feel somewhat disingenuous… but overall this place is worth checking out for a fancy meal in Ubud

Here is the new restaurant & bar that is currently stealing attention bywalkers around Ubud. Donna only debuted nine months ago, but already it looks like it's in a competition with the other bars in Ubud. The bar has a really hip/cool vibe. When we enter the restaurant, ‘Donna’ will welcome us, a big mural of a hippy granny smoking a cigar, which also serves as the restaurant's emblem. I ordered Margarita and Chicken Milanese (organic golden crispy chicken schnitzel, parmesan, shaved fennel salad, mustard aioli). Although I think the food is fairly costly, it is great. If shisha is your thing, they also sell it there. An elevated rooftop bar is also available to enjoy cocktails while the sun is going down 🌅 Oh, and the staffs are all warm and friendly!

Very classy place. The vibes here are amazing. Great place to go on a fancy date. Food is very good and the cocktails are amazing. With they used premium booze though. It's very easy to spend a lot of money here so be prepared.

My partner and I were blown away by Donnas’s. We were recommended by a friend whilst I was travelling and I booked for my partners birthday! Donna’s provided so much more than we could have imagined! The interior and atmosphere was very well designed, comfortable and welcoming as well as the background music being constantly Shazammed! Every dish was was full of flavour and portioned very well!!! The service was 10/10 very friendly, helpful and kind!! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Donna’s if you’re visiting Ubud, Bali!

Nice food, drinks and churros. If you are a person who eats like a truck driver, I recommend you to order more sides. But if you are the average person, main courses will fill your stomach and leave you satisfied.

First night in Bali and had this booked as heard about it before we came and was better than anticipated. Definitely need to book in advance as was really busy and now know why. Setting, ambiance, staff and food was amazing.

Love, love, love this restaurant!! Food was fabulous! Service was what you hope for. I would eat here again over and over. I was with a big party, and we had two chefs in our group that were gushing over everything they ate! We were bigger size people and made to feel very comfortable in seating and service. I ate here two different times and wanted to go back. Love this place! 🫶

Nice gives albeit slightly pricey. Food was prepared fresh and taste was delectable. Interesting selection of choices and there is definitely something for everyone. The cocktail list was one of its kind m. Staff were patient and attentive - never fail to answer all our questions. Ambience was perfect for a night out wanting to indulge.

This restaurant is really classy with so yummi food . More expensive than other restaurants but worth every penny! The toilets are amazing and clean , the staff is kind and polite! Try to reserve to get a good place!

HIGHLY recommend this new hot spot! They were so nice and accommodating to our large group. Five star service! Went with 12 of my friends for my birthday and it was the most fun! We had delicious tapas, lots of great wine and prosecco, and then went upstairs to the club where a DJ played great music and we danced the night away! Couldn't think of a better place to celebrate my birthday!

The Pesto risotto is MUST TRY. Absolutely amazing. Paella was SUPER. Lamb ragu rigatoni was okay. Seems like a bit hit or miss depending on the dish.

Vacationing in Bali, we came to Ubud. Looking for a place to have dinner, we found this restaurant among a big variety of offers around. The place is very cozy, really nice ambient and decoration. Music is not that loud that you can have a proper conversation with your friends. Service is also very good, they are always checking if everything is ok, but to be honest I think that is very common in Bali (at least). Anyway, they felt us very welcomed. Dian was really nice waitress. Very welcomy. About the food, the chec must have some latino influence, because some of the dishes are in Spanish and plates coming from Spain, Perú and Brasil. You must try the croquetas and Burrata with Papaya. I was very dissapointed not to be able to try the Octopus, because they didn't tell me that they didn't have it, before we ordered. Finally I ordered the pasta ragu, which a bit salty for me, but still good. My friends ordered the salmon with passion fruit, also really good... and the chicken breast with Pesto sauce.. they managed to make the breast very juicy. About the desserts, Chocolate mouse recommendable but the passion fruit tart a bit too sweet despite the passion fruit sauce was really good. .

Beautiful new place in the neighbourhood - Lovely ambience - Delish food ( honest opinion : you could increase the tapas portion a little bit more as it is for sharing😉) - Superb cocktail, gin and wine selection. It doesn’t feel like you are in Ubud and oh hit the dance floor upstairs and you will know what I mean 💃🏼🍸

Must go to for lunch! Beautiful atmosphere, lots of different seating arrangements to chose from. Blissful pool at the back. The food was honestly incredible! Best pasta I’ve ever eaten (creamy salmon pasta). The tomato soup was delicious too. And the service was amazing too.

Very cute dining atmosphere with live music and the employees got people up and dancing. I was on the dance floor twice. The service was great. The drinks were good. The food was yummy; we had the chicken wings, empanadas, steak, lamb ragu rigatoni, and risotto. The manager constantly checked on us personally and made sure we enjoyed everything!

During my recent trip to Ubud, Bali, I had the pleasure of dining at a fancy restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. They were attentive without being intrusive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fancy dining experience in Ubud. The amazing salmon alone is worth the visit, but the entire meal and service exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to return on my next trip to Bali.

Come here for a fancy date night or for the atmosphere! The food looks nicer than it tastes. Slightly dismayed that they used frozen prawns for the ravioli. Expected more out of this restaurant, but it can also be my high expectations. Overall it’s considered expensive for Bali standard and for me I will explore other restaurants if I come back :)

Great atmosphere! I was there with a group of 6. We loved the starters and the dessert. The mains were good, but not as good as the other dishes. I would go again to have a “tapas” dinner. Drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly.

Everything was spot on about this place - cozy environment, great interior and design, clean and spacious, and most importantly amazing food and drinks. One of the best eats in Ubud - recommended to make reservations in advance as it gets pretty packed even on weekday nights.

We came here for our first dinner in Ubud. Food was flawless. The octopus and salmon were really delicious. We also had shrimps and Brazilian chicken balls that I absolutely recommend. They had a minimum spend of 1.5 million on the tables beside the pool but seems like after a specific hour of the day you can sit there without minimum spend which where we stayed in the restaurant. Overall vibe is nice.

This restaurant was incredible. We went here for my sisters birthday and everything from the service to the food to the decor was outstanding. Let the pictures speak for themselves. Shoutout to the hostess, Ani and her team for making the night so special. This is fine dining done well and you will pay fine dining prices, but totally worth it!

The place was truly beautiful, just like it shows on the pictures. Great customer service. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, food was amazing and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone who’s looking for a place to have a meal in Ubud. Side note- a bit on the expensive range- spent around $100 aud for the two of us and the infant

I had an amazing dinner experience at Donna Restaurant. I went there with my partner and we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the entrance. When we entered the restaurant, we were amazed by the classic and charming ambiance. It was a comfortable place, perfect for dining with family. After that, we ordered several dishes and drinks, and they all arrived quickly at our table. Everything we ordered was delicious and highly recommended 🤤. I highly recommend Donna Restaurant and I will definitely come back for another dinner.♥️
