The grounds at this hotel are breathtaking, a nature lovers dream, like a secret garden! That, the views and the structure itself is what makes this location special. Traditional balinese statues and decor. To the eye it's beautiful. The spa was also amazing one of the best massages I've ever experienced. They also gave us floating breakfast, spa vouchers, photo opportunity in our stay so lots of added benefits. What I didn't like was the linens in my room were often times stained (minor but still) and at one point smelled wet/moldy. I also didn't like all the critters. I found a worm on my tooth paste and well that caused anxiety. If you're iffy with bugs I don't recommend because the get inside too and the villas aren't properly sealed with the wooden doors only being padlocked. Lastly the food although authentic Balinese and tasted good, really wouldn't settle with my body and I was sick my entire stay but I had been in Bali a week prior to arriving with no problem at all so I personally felt it was either my arrival to Ubud area or the food @ this hotel (I hadn't eaten much out.) Beautiful place, I saw it, I'm grateful for experiencing the nature and spa but I wouldn't return.

It was the ultimate indulgence, spending lazy afternoons lounging by the pool and taking refreshing dips whenever we pleased. The resort itself was like a paradise waiting to be explored. With lush gardens and winding pathways, every corner seemed to hold a new surprise. We made sure to take advantage of the complimentary yoga sessions offered in the mornings, a perfect way to start our day feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary photography session. Capturing memories against the backdrop of Bali's stunning scenery was an experience we'll never forget, and having a professional photographer to do it was the cherry on top. Despite the grandeur of our villa, it still felt cozy and intimate – the perfect romantic getaway for us. We only wished we had more time to fully explore everything the resort had to offer. In the end, our stay at the Royal Pita Maha was pure magic. From the luxurious amenities to the peaceful atmosphere, every moment felt like a dream. As we reluctantly said goodbye, we knew that we would carry the memories of our time there with us forever.

Truly beautiful, Blissful. No words can describe the beauty of this hotel. The property is located on the cliff where you can enjoy the stunning view of the tropical forest and the waterfall. The villa was huge and amazing with attached private pool. The service was top notch. The only drawback is the distamce of the rooms, From the lobby. You need to walk climb stairs. Rest it's just too good and blissful.

We loved our stay at Royal Pita Maha 🙏. The staff was excellent on all levels! Breakfast is really good with many options. Our villa need minor improvements however the overall great experience makes you overlook this. We will visit again for sure

This was such a cool location. Honestly one of the biggest and beautiful resort I stayed at. The food is actually very good! I would stay here anytime I’m in Ubud. This has the be the best resort on the island.

Beautiful locations. Villas were so spacious & the pool lovely. Breakfast is so good & the staff & service is wonderful. The decor is 20 years old & probably due for some updates but still very luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay here & would highly recommend it.

We travel once or twice a year and have seen a lot, but there is a world of difference between the previous accommodations, hotels, villas and the Royal Pita Maha! We have never experienced so much kindness and love as here. I often had tears in my eyes. We were here eleven nights and by the second day every one of the countless employees in the huge resort knew our names. Tomorrow we're going home and we've already been told a loving farewell. We fell in love with the Royal Pita Maha and its wonderful staff. Thank you very much for the wonderful time here ❤️❤️❤️

*Pros -staffs are professional and very helpful -very spacious and clean room -free activities: Morning yoga class nearby the river, not easy though. -can appreciate the old and traditional style -jungle view from the restaurant for breakfast -great room service dinner *cons -walking around the whole area is almost hiking in the mountain(might be healthy) -poor food in the restaurant near by the river. Seriously, if anyone who may concerned is checking this review, you should try the food there by yourself and ask yourself what is going on there. That is not absolutely for 5 star hotel. I wasted my money. I can accept the price, but the food is seriously not tasty and even not delicately prepared in my opinion. I am saying again, THAT RESTAURANT IS NOT OFFERING FOOD FOR 5 STAR HOTEL . PLEASE CHECK WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE FOR YOUR HONOR. However, the room service dinner was more professional and tasty, which is from different restaurant, I assume. Plus, this hotel has a 2.1-meter swimming pool, which could be good or not.

Hands down one of the absolute best resorts I have ever stayed. Everything from the staff, to the room, to the grounds, the thousand candles dinner was absolutely perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this resort to others. Definitely worth every penny spent.💜
