Great stay in a quiet street. Near many restaurants and walking distance to spas, yoga studios, and ubud palace. The room was neat and tidy and the balcony was beautiful and quiet.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was simple but clean. Everything looked relatively new. There was a large balcony overlooking nature. We loved having breakfast out there. Wayan was so kind and happily answered any of our questions. He/Gek were also very accommodating with breakfast. I am vegan and they were able to make me a vegan breakfast which was very much appreciated. The location was great. We were close to so much action (great restaurants, spas, shopping, etc.) but also a little tucked away from the main road. I will note that earplugs would be good to have because if your next door neighbors are loud you will hear them and there are lots of rooster making noise esp in the early morning. We would happily stay here again in the future!

Can’t speak highly enough of Gek House and the lovely owners. It felt like a cool calm retreat when you come back from busy town. The Mie Goreng at breakfast was the best I’ve ever had! I left my iPad in the safe and they kindly had it delivered to my new hotel in Kuta- that is the kind of people they were, just so lovely ❤️

The most peaceful, relaxing homestay in Ubud. The balcony overlooks the jungle and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The host is also such a kind man, always available to help and answer any questions you may have. If you're looking to hide away in a quiet place immersed in nature, this is your spot. There are also so many cafes and restaurants just around the corner to enjoy.

I’m so happy that I stayed at this place coz they made my life easier while I was there! Everything was amazing. The staff is so attentive, kind and always ready to help you out with any requirement. The hospitality of Gek is amazing. Nothing is too much, his response is instant and he acts quickly. Not the most luxury resort but price/quality very good. If you want to explore Ubud, this is a perfect place to stay.

We spent two nights here and loved it. Really large, clean rooms and balcony with a gorgeous view and pool. It’s also in a great location so you can walk through to the markets and monkey forest easily! Wayan and his family made us feel very welcome and we’d definitely recommend!

Lovely small guesthouse of 4 rooms, located in a quiet street, right next to a huge wall of high trees, looking like a jungle. The room is large, the bed is on the softer side, WiFi is good and the balcony is fantastic for cooling down and enjoying their delicious breakfast, freshly made and brought to your table. The kind owners are also arranging the services of a good driver, Mr. Ketut, either for airport shuttle or island tours. Highly recommended
