When you get to the end of the path, turn left its about 20 yards down the path, overlooking a paddy field. In total it is less than 2 minutes from the main street and totally safe to walk. This place gets full quickly. If you get there at about 6pm, and you have 1-4 people dining, you should be fine. After this time, you may struggle to get a table. You can take a seat at the front, or wander to the back of the restaurant and enjoy the Al fresco dining while being looked over by Ganesh. The food is beautiful, both in taste and presentation. I had the Bebek goreng (crispy duck and rice) followed by the simply delicious black rice pudding.. yum! I also had a bottle of water and 2 glasses of balinese wine... for a grand total of 167,000IDR. The restaurant also has a resident diva... a pug dog, who is very entertaining.... see my video when it realises it's not getting any attention 🤭 I have no idea why this isn't yet top rated restaurant in Ubud. Its one of the best dinners I've had since getting here. There was a young family with a baby and there was a high chair available. The stagg were lovely interacting with the small child and had toys for him to play with, so it is definitely family friendly, although most the clientele were solo travellers and couples.
