👍 Upmarket cafe with prices to match, but good service level and lovely food and coffee. Nice little touch of cinnamon bun portion delivered with coffee. We had 3 egg omelette with asparagus and mushroom and eggs Benedict. Both really well made. Looked like there was only 1 young guy in the kitche... People often mention coffee, good, great, amazing, cake, nice, time, breakfast, service,

What an amazing gem!!!! Its quite hidden in this gallery so hard to spot it,but their coffees are amazing and they have so many amazing cakes! I cant believe they had all my favourite cakes: Honey cake, Napoleon cake and kiyv cake!!!!! Highly recommend,my tummy is crying out of happiness :D taxes included too,so not too expensive. 55k for a big piece of cake and 35k for an amazing flat white.

Much of the menu not available. Food took a verrrry long time to arrive, actually only half arrived before we gave up. The saddest portion of fries and the ramen tasted of 5-spice; even confirming it was not pho, but there's beef in it????!!! Be prepared to spend at least 150k pp for mediocrity. Most of the reviews must be fake, as there is no reason for a glowing reputation. Also, the carrot cake, is the strangest texture. I can't explain. It is tasty, but not quite a cake.

Really really great food in ubud, one of the best I’ve had. Especially the seared tuna. The interior is very pretty, it’s part of a concept store with great pieces. Plus they don’t charge the tourist taxes here. The only thing which I didn’t like were the red velvet cake and orange cake. They were both very dry and not with a lot of taste.

We had the most amazing time enjoying the ambience, food, drinks and incredible vibes on Sunday! As soo we we arrived we were greeted like we were family, I was amazing at the staff who have clearly been trained so well, the service was fantastic. The food arrived and I was in foodie paradise, I can’t recommend the brisket enough, it was the best meat i’ve had in Bali so far! The vibes were IMMACULATE and the food and drinks were EXCEPTIONAL! Cannot wait to be back here again soon

Nice and cozy. I’ve tried oysters here, best in Bali. And I also like borsch and syrniky

Fabulous interior design with balinese temple theme. Quiet environment (at least now). Matcha latte is not sweet at all which is awesome! Triple cake is good as well.

Great service and beautiful location. The coffee was amazing. For breakfast I ordered oats with three toppings. I expected something like overnight oats with fruit. Maybe I only had a wrong expectation. I got a big bowl with boiling milk and oats inside. It looked like a massive soup and a really big piece of butter was floating at the surface. I was hoping for a healthy breakfast, instead it was a lot of milk with butter and sugar. it was so hot that I asked to put it in the fridge for 30 minutes . The portion of the toppings was way too small for the price. 10.000 for each topping. So just to know what you expect when you order the oats. Oats with coffee was 104.000 in total. So I think definitely not worth the money.

Bittersweet is the epitome of variety. You can find in it a beautiful dress, a work of art, very good coffee or a wonderful meal. My tip for the perfect visit is a cappuccino with a cinnamon bun or for lunch a Tuna Steak with Detox Juice. In the best case you can also combine everything. You can either sit in the shade under plants in the backyard during the time of enjoyment or choose between varied seating options inside. Go there and see for yourself!

A friend and I came for breakfast and were of course intrigued by there being jewelry and things to look at while waiting for our food. Holidays tend to foster a certain shopaholic tendency... There were a lot of cute things, but we just didn't feel like the price was right. I was excited to see blueberry pancakes on the menu and my friend ordered the eggs Benedict. We thought the prices were great since there is no way you could get this kind of steal in Jakarta. Unfortunately, when the pancakes came, I knew immediately they would be dry. As I cut into one, it became clear that I was unlike to take more than a bite or two. The eggs Benedict had nice little chunks of feta which seasoned it well. Being able to add salmon and avocado to it was great. We had hoped for a better and more hollandaise, but maybe it's just a personal preference because we love sauce. Otherwise, I was satisfied with my butter crumble coffee; my friend enjoyed the mixed juice but thought the chai should have been steeped longer because the flavor was weak.

Arrived in Ubud and the first place we visited for breakfast will now be our only breakfast place. Oat milk. Flat white made just the way I like it, flat. The fresh fruit with muesli and yoghurt was really good. The smashed avo is my favourite so far. Really friendly staff, air con, and free WiFi if you are looking.

We liked the food and atmosphere. maybe there is need for waitresses to pay more attention to the guests - we waited for anyone to get our order for quite a long time. However, since a waitress came to us everything was fine. Thank you!

Had fika, coffee & pastry time. Coffee & desserts was nice. Tables in the back was all occupied by stuff on tables or chairs, nobody at tables which was annoying. Cafe is located in a retail shop with a nice vibe setting

I was badly craving a proper cinnamon roll and had a fresh one at BitterSweet. It was so good! And I liked that they put the yummy cream cheese icing on fresh after warming the roll. The space is also nicely air conditioned and dimmed to give you some relief from the hot and sunny afternoon.

The business lives up to its name. Bitter and sweet. We had 6 people come in on a Saturday, 10:30 am. No one else was in the restaurant, no other customers. Cafe looked beautiful, nice unique decor. We had a good time looking at the decor. After we ordered, the waitress told us it will take a while, to us that meant 30-45 minutes, which we were okay with. It ended up taking 1 hour 20 minutes for everything to come out. So, bitter, because the wait was way too long. Sweet because the cafe and food was good. If you don’t mind waiting +1 hour for breakfast when there is no one else in the restaurant, yes I recommend, hence the 3 stars. Again, good was great but honestly we wouldn’t have eaten here if we would have know it would be +1 hour to get our food. Up to you!

Place was empty due to pandemic but the Cafe in an antique and retail store concept was done really well. The tea was also served in a nice way. Overall a good place to stumble into.

Really quiet and nice place. Different from the other popular places so it worth a try.

Service was amazing, the food and drinks we had were great, the music was on point, and the space is lovely. I really can't fault this place on anything other than it's coffee. Espresso was clearly extracted much longer than it shouldve been which at least helped disqyise some of the dark and roasty flavour notes. Still definitely worth a visit, just avoid the coffee in my humble opinion

It’s a really nice place with a good atmosphere . They don’t have many clients, because it opened a few months ago. And you have an awesome opportunity to enjoy yourself with great music and perfect service. It looks like a luxury restaurant, but the prices are average(pasta -60k IDR, main dishes-60-100k IDR, salad -60-70k IDR,soup -45k IDR,breakfast menu-50-80k IDR). Also they have a good coffee (cost is 20-45k IDR) and a perfect desserts (25-50k IDR). The Mango cheesecake blows your mind ! On the territory of cafe there is a shop with clothes, bags , stuff for interior and a flower shop. WiFi is fast.

Very cool design, all the little details fit together into a great estetics experience. Food is also good, however don't expect huge portions, it's mostly nice and tasty, but not necessarily gonna fill you up. Boutique is in the same space and you can spend some time studying modern art. Same as in famous London's Shoreditch, but 5x cheaper. Card payments +3%

One of the best coffee in the town, cakes according to homemade German recipes. Inspiration and creativity in the atmosphere, various interesting things, gifts and souvenirs for the most beloved in the shop here. Cool staff, cleanliness, high-quality, delicious food.

Staff pays zero attention to their guests. We sat waiting for a menu for at least 10min, we ended up going up to get it ourselves and told them we wanted to order. Then it took another 20min for them to come to us. The food was great but then they give it to us without any cutlery and once again we can’t get their attention and have to go up and get it ourselves. The restaurant was nearly empty so there was no reason for this. McDonald’s gives better service.
