Reviews from 3 years ago say that the place is moldy. I thought they fixed it by now. They didn’t. We were supposed to stay there for 5 nights but we left after 1 night. I woke up with pain in my chest and respiratory problems because of the mold in the tent. Please fix this problem or else you will continue getting reviews like this.

I stayed here for 3 nights, and the location was fantastic. Inside, they offered a breathtaking view, a beautiful pool, and a serene garden for relaxation.

The hostel is well maintained. Nice quiet hostel 15 minutes by foot to central Ubud where most restaurants are. I like hanging out in the lobby to socialize with fellow travelers. It really feels tropical in there with all the trees and plants. Cons: One toilet beside our room has leak. Room's small but you get the privacy in your bed with the curtain.

Bedbugs in the dorm room. The hotel itself is beautiful, really nice open spaces, friendly staff and chill hang out areas and pool, but the bed bugs ruined the rest of my stay since it’s hard to get rid of them…

A very beautiful place. You have the feeling of living right in the jungle. If you like outdoor living and don't need a high end luxury hotel, than this is the place to be.

The garden is nice. Dorms are fully packed no space for luggage. But the beds are ok. Location is pretty far from the centre. Common area is also nice. Every morning they are out of toilet paper. I wouldn't stay here again.

Place looks amazing in photographs so I was so excited to finnaly get some peace and quiet in here. Came early so I had to wait for them to “prepare my room”. I went in the room and it was very hot the Ac was off and it stunk like never before. I tried to unpack but when I realised I can t be there for 5 mins I went next to the pool to book another hotel. The sun beds are also very dirty so had to get a towel to cover it. Bathrooms also don’t have the nicest smell. The lady at the reception was nice and helped me get a refund. Other people came and said the dorm is fine but the Ac windows and doors were open. My locker also smelled like curry😅 Maybe I have a sensitive nose or maybe they should try to vent out the space before checking guests in.

Do you still have mold problems in the tents? I’ll book according to your reply. I don’t want to stay where there is any mold.

Jungle vibes everywhere in this amazing hostel. One of my 2 favorites while staying in Ubud. The staff are helpful and kind. They offer small towels since some tourists in the past stole the big ones. The rooms are cery clean, you have wifi access all over the place and a lot of nature space and quiet either if you want to read, work, practice yoga, tan or swim in their amazing and beautiful pools! You have nice view of the jungle while you listen to the birds and insects.

Staying at Ubud Tropical is definitely one of memorable experiences I have in Ubud. Affordable prices with swimming pool, common space and kitchen ! Ita also meeting other solo trip people and hearing about their stories and experiences.

The pictures of this property are great. It's tucked away in a corner in the street with a small board so can be easily missed. The staff is good and helpful. The property is quite pretty with green lush lounging areas and two pools. However, the dorm rooms are not cleaned daily - I stayed for three nights or so and didn't see the room or my bed cleaned even once. Washroom is not clean also considering so many people are using it. Maintenance of basic facilities is not up to the mark. Location is way away from the main market in Ubud & it's a long walk inside the lane toonbut you get to see another side of Ubud. There's a lot of construction work around on the road. And there are a lot of barking dogs on that road. Overall I was disappointed by this place. It's not as good as it looks.

Stayed for one night in the private rooms. Super friendly staff, room was nice and cozy. The pool was great, gave a chance to cool off from the humidity. Would have stayed more nights if they had room!

We stay here for one night on Family Tent 5, for me its a worth the price glamping in Bali. Its a great ambience with pool side garden and the breakfast wasnt expensive. But its a bit not luggage friendly. Again we find that were the only local here.. lots of tourist stay on their hostel bed room and peacefully do yoga by the pool in the morning. Thankyou ubud tropical

Had my best sleep in their queen-size bunk bed compared to other bunk bed hotels. Good pools. Also were very clean and guests were tidy with their belongings.

The dorm room was clean and comfortable with locker provided. There was hot water in the common shower room. The pool & overall environment were also great. I couldn't contact the number mentioned here though so I booked through their Instagram account.

Great place to stay for a weekend gateway! We stayed at the dorm for 1 night. It was clean and cozy. The bathroom was clean, provided with hot water too. The pool was good, we had a very pleasant stay here. They also have a public kitchen. We cooked most of our meal there. The staff was so helpful and friendly! Definitely will come back soon.

I stayed two days for the view and pool. It feels so relaxed, calm and peaceful. The dorm room a bit small but it has comfy bed. Luckyly I bring small bagpack. I wish there are comfortable seats (bean bags) near the pool. The shared kitchen is wide and clean too.
