Staying at someone's home. It felt very nice. The room is perfect. A lot of privacy in a dorm. Breakfast is made fresh whenever you want. The owners know a lot about the area and where to go.

Unfortunately I have to say that they have a problem with bed bugs in at least two of six beds. I had to sleep outside on the terrace because it was impossible to sleep in that bed. I even changed to another free bed in that night but it was the same situation with the bed bugs again. The owners are really friendly and I am sorry for them having this big problem. 5 days later I still have a really bad and itchy rush on my body.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here tons! Great location and the people are so nice and accommodating. The small bunk room was super clean, a very nice hostel stay. I plan to return next time Iโ€™m in Ubud and would recommend to all of my friends. Itโ€™s great to find people that truly care about the quality of your stay. The owner will do as much as possible to help with any of your needs like recommending the best health care clinic for my friend with Bali belly. Best of the best.

What a lovely stay we had here. We were 4 friends staying in this Homestay for 2 nights and over just two days we talked a lot with the sweet and helpful owners. They helped us with motorbikes, recommended places around to visit and provided a yummy breakfast with pancakes and fruit. It had everything we needed here and the location is perfect - in the middle of Ubud but on a very quiet street

Only one dorm of 6 people in the family house, so very familial and sweet atmosphere. The owners are so kind and helpful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

If you really want to be guided kindly on your first trip to Ubud this is the place, Aju is very pleased to help you and in this hostel you can have a bit of the authenticity of Balinese people. This small hostel guarantees you to have peace and the owners are super super helpful. In addition the breakfast has fruits and eggs and not just pancakes with coffee like other hostels, and you can have your water refill for free. Totally recommend

This was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. If you like to end your night with drinks frequently, I wouldn't recommend staying here. This is a peaceful place on a quiet side street (an alley off of Jl. Bisma, which is already one of the quieter "main roads" in Ubud) with a quietly social vibe. There is just one 6-bed dorm with a bathroom inside and a small seating area outside, where I had great conversations with someone different every night. The family is also genuinely wonderful. I chatted with the wife for about an hour and a half about various cultural and political topics in Bali and Indonesia, and she shared some really interesting insights. Plus, because it's a small hostel, they really remember the details of each guest, whether it's knowing exactly how you take your breakfast or putting out fruit they know you like. Only a few small notes for possible improvement: - Maybe more hooks/shelves in the bathroom? Because there were only two colors of towels for rent, it was very hard to keep track of whose towel was whose. - The curtains on each bed are a bit loud, so if you get in late or need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it could definitely wake people up. I wonder if perhaps they could be made quieter somehow. Overall, though, an amazing place. I recommend it to people who are looking for a good place to meet people in a quieter environment.

If I could rate this place 6 stars, I would! Having travelled SE Asia for 5 months, this is one of the best hostels so far. Hot shower, great AC, really comfortable beds, good breakfast and all at a super affordable price. The host is 10/10 and will help you with anything you want.

Best hostel Iโ€™ve stayed at on my entire south east backing trip. The hosts and the staff is just amazing, goes beyond to make the trip awesome. Clean room, bed, toilet and in general entire area. If youโ€™re in Ubud do not worry about booking a few extra nights here!! Itโ€™s definitely worth it.

You have all the basics (clean bath, comfortable bed, air conditioner, etc.) that you need, meet people from all over the world, get great and practical informations for trips, you can rent a scooter for a good price, get good food/breakfast, etc.. The uniqueness and speciality of this place is definitely that you feel instantly welcome when you enter the gate and feel part of the family.

Super nice hostel. It is a small hostel with cute courtyard. Good location, 5 mins walk to main street, quite at night. They are so friendly and gave us lots of help. Helped us to rent a car and negotiated with car owner, checked transportation information with other agency. We had good to here. It is one of the best hostel I have ever stayed. Highly recommend.

I just love this hostel. The owners are the sweetest people ever and the beds are exactly right for me. The hostel is not too big, which gives it a nice homy feel. Also it's in the center of Ubud, but because it's in a little sidewalk you have all the quiet you need. I've stayed here twice and hope to stay here again in the future๐Ÿ’š

My friend and I just had the best time there! Everyone is so friendly! Itโ€™s like family from the first minute! They are so helpful and the breakfast ist also nice! The room is cleaned every day and they changed my dorm bed from top to the ground without asking when it was available! Such a lovely place to stay! โค๏ธ

Fantastic, homely hostel, the owners are so nice and welcoming, breakfast amazing and with only a 6 bed dorm, attracts the right kind of travellers. Clean too and nice area to hangout.

Basic but very clean. Comfortable and homely atmosphere. Very close to the city center but still very quite, away from main street. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious. Price is really good for the value.

I stayed here for one night before catching a flight out of Bali. This is really a homestay with a dorm. There are only 6 beds (bunks with curtains). It's very clean and comfy with good AC and a powerful shower with hot water. I saw the cleaner even airs the mattresses in between guests. The family were very welcoming and helpful. I arrived late in the evening and they helped me to book a shuttle to the airport the next day and also advised me where I could get my laundry done in very short time. Breakfast was fruit with a delicious locally made banana cake. My only complaint is there wasn't enough of it!

Great little place. Just 3 bunks. Has lockers for everyone. AC working. Really nice big bathroom with hot water and good pressure. The lady of the house will help you to find good cheap food or with transport to your next destination - found a shuttle to Tulamben for me, which was cheaper than the public shuttle bus. Can even rent a scooter from her. Breakfast not too big but tasty - banana pancake with fresh fruit and tea/coffee. Would stay again.

Lovely hostel, feels more like a home stay. Family run and made us feel like family during our stay. Happy to help with any questions organising transport and giving us suggestions for best things to do in Ubud. Lovely breakfast too.
