Tranquil place to relax. The pool & restaurant area is absolutely lovely with comfy beds & beanbags to sunbathe on. Good for activities too - there is yoga daily at 7am, an afternoon workout and social things arranged in the evenings. You get a complimentary 15 min massage and manicure/pedicure each day too. Rooms are a decent standard - I was in a 4-bed mixed dorm. Each bed has its own plug point and light. Food was reasonably good but small portions and I have generally eaten better in Bali.

This place is amazing! First of all the staff members were the most friendliest people I met. They help you with everything and you could talk to them for ages. We got everyday manicure/pedicure + a massage! It is very clean, the restaurant there is completely vegan and everything tasted amazing!! After our first night there we instantly decided to book a few more nights at the end of our Bali stay! Arya is so much more than a hostel! It felt more like a home and a family to me!

Ok, big call but this hostel may be the one of the best I’ve been to in the world! I’ve been to over 40 countries so this is really saying something. I stayed 4 nights at this place and was so close to extending. The staff here are amazing, especially the on-site manager Jack! The hostel is super social (but also has enough space you can do your own thing) and has a nice mix of ages and people from all around the world. They have free daily yoga, meditation, fitness classes, breakfast, massages and manicures, so amazing!! The events such as trivia, movie nights and family dinner are also a great way to meet people. The rooms are super clean, quiet, nicely air conditioned and don’t have that mould smell that some in Bali do. The pool is also incred!! Honestly nothing but good reviews for this place, definitely recommend for any solo travellers or anyone visiting Ubud!

Sadly, I had a very bad experience with safety. A tree by the pool had some rusty nails coming out and tore my arm. The staff at the beginning didn't care much just after I insisted that I needed to go to the clinic they helped me with paying the taxi but all the other expenses were on me. This lead me to confirm what I perceived at first: esthetic is amazing but the vibe of a truly spiritual place are off. It's a chick place to stay but not suitable to "find yourself" as they sale it. The 15 free minute massage were terrible! The ladies, rightfully, seemed and felt fed up of doing 20 massages in a row per day! A good catch but it needs more soul!

Boujee womens hostel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with large lockers. The double beds in dorm rooms are super comfy. The rooms have a balcony however there is no furniture there to enjoy the balcony. Staff come into room numerous times per day. They control the AC which is very annoying. Shampoo and soap provided however soap dispenser was broken in my bathroom. The hostel does delicious food and multiple events per day sometimes meeting up or held at sister hostel locations. They organise great day tours - I did the mount batur hike for 450k and a day tour to other Ubud hotspots for 250k. The free 15 min massage was good. They also make your bed each morning which is nice. Met some nice people here.

Nicest hostel i‘ve ever stayed at. Great rooms, comfy and clean beds and toilets. They offer free manicure, pedicure, massage, HIIT class, yoga and many more. Unfortunately i was only staying here a night but would love to come back and enjoy more of the activities. Everyone who works here is so friendly yet professional. Still so surprised at how many of the staff remembered my name even though i only stayed a night. Felt like i was staying at a resort.

Best hostel and definitely the most luxurious one I’ve stayed in! I initially booked 3 nights and ended up extending another 2 more. It’s more pricey than the other hostels but it’s value for money. Felt like I was doing a retreat with free massages, meni/pedi, morning meditation and yoga, daily evening activists such as shadow boxing, HIIT, cooking class, movie night, family night. Great place to socialise or simply relax by the pool. Staff was really friendly too :) They even packed my breakfast when I checked out early. Thank you for the wonderful stay! One thing to note though, it is located near the Monkey Forest and I’ve had encounters with monkeys in the hostel (one came into the room, that really freaked me out).

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at, the pool area is amazing, and the man who maintains the garden works so hard constantly! The rooms a good size and the bed is practically a double and really comfy. The staff are lovely too, encouraging participation in the social activities. Hostel is located on a busy street lined with lots of restaurants and shops, but far enough back it does not disturb the peace. All in all such good value for money and a great place to meet other like minded women.

BEWARE their policies. Cute but expensive, uncomfortable, noisy. Beds and pillows are so hard. They spray toxic scented air stuff in the rooms. You’ll need earplugs- music from club in PM and monkeys jumping on the tin roof outside balcony at 6am. Paid way too much for this place. It’s cute in many ways and a good concept. Ladies over 40 definitely consider whether you want to drop this amount of money here. I tried to change plans 7d before and was told it would cost me $320 because I’d reserved 3d. Not Balinese owned and you can tell. I smashed a mosquito on the white bedspread and I was sure I’d be fined… it’s that kind of feeling. The bathroom vent is open to outside so yeah, those dengue creatures can come in too.

I had to cancel my trip less than 24 hours after booking as I came down with bali belly. The cancellation policy of this hostel is not fair for travellers. If you cancel within 8 days of the stay, you will be charged the full amount. This applies even if you only book a few days in advance! There are other places that are just as nice with much more reasonable booking policies.

The staff really make this place special! Everyone is so friendly, kind and helpful. It also attracts the loveliest bunch of women - I made so many friends here so quickly. And then there’s all the free events and activities on top of this - basically a tiny paradise in the middle of Ubud.

The nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed at by far! It was lovely to wake up in the morning to meditation and yoga before a free breakfast. There were also free 15 minute massages and basic mani/pedis available during the day. The staff and other travelers staying there created a great environment. If I get the chance to go back to Bali I will definitely stay there again.

I’ve had such a lovely time here at Arya. So much that I have booked to stay here again next week just before I fly home. Everyone including staff have been so friendly and kind. It’s very accommodating. The vibe here js something I’ve never come across in a hostel before. It’s pure relaxation and so peaceful. It’s close to everything and they offer a tour which i’d recommend doing. You can also get a free massage, manicure & pedicure everyday and there is always an activity or event in the evening. Absolutely loved it - thank you :)

This place is something else. The location is great in the middle of Ubud. Staff is super welcoming and helpful, they know everyone by name. The place is super social (not a party hostel), and the vibe is amazing. They offer a free massage, manicure and pedicure every day. Everything is clean, breakfast is very tasty and the beds are super comfy. I extended my stay twice. And would definitely come back here whenever I visit Ubud again. Big recommendation.

Great hostel. Smaller than it looks from the pictures though. Lacking some of the health food, fitness classes and studio space. I would expect at a wellness retreat. Bathrooms are basic, and the hostel is lacking comfy seating. Staff is all male, so if you are expecting a women's only environment it is not. However I had a great time here. Pricey for what it is though.

A really lovely hostel experience I stayed in a private room and it felt very high quality. They help with arrangements of activities and even have lots of free activities through the hostel. I loved the included yoga workout classes. It more on the chill side but they provide enough activities for you to meet people. It's also well located within walking distance to many of the classic Ubud activities.

The dorms were amazing - clean and spacious. The atmosphere of the hostel is amazing too. You can meet such amazing gals here which was so fun. The hostel is the perfect combination of social but also not a party hostel. The included breakfast was tasty and healthy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I liked the social events and the included fitness classes! The only downsides were the yoga classes (they seemed too beginner and it seemed like there was more talking than actual movement) and the massages (one lady was REALLY good at them but the other lady was so bad, like really didn’t care and only used one hand 😆). Also all of the towels at the hostel were really smelly.

Such a beautiful beautiful place to stay! Just a gorgeously warm, welcoming and safe space to relax and enjoy life; everyone that I met here was so willing to engage, interact and support each another. The daily activities are such a bonus, as are the staff; they truly feel like friends rather than staff, always checking in to make sure you are enjoying yourself. The biggest thank you to the whole team at Arya for looking after me so beautifully; I will be back for sure!!

Arya is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed! Although short, my trip to Ubud was very special. I love the location and how friendly the staff are. Rooms and main areas are very clean, I loved the free massage and yoga class was absolutely amazing!

Best hostel I've ever stayed in - worth the slightly higher price for the amazing free breakfast and the yoga / fitness classes and free manicures / massage. Only thing is improve is the staff we quite pushy about trying to get us to sign up to the hostel events - 6 different people asked us to sign up to a family style meal after we'd said no multiple times. Would suggest maybe having one person in charge of this who asks once!

Literally the best hostel we ever stayed at. Beginning with the friendly staff, the FREE yoga lessons, massage, manicure and pedicure and the also FREE breakfast with delicious items to order! The location is very nice with only 5 minutes to walk to monkey forrest and countless nice cafes and restaurants in walking distance! The rooms were clean with separate bathrooms, cozy beds and enough privacy and possibilities to lock your stuff away. The garden with the pool and the beanbags is completely dreamy. Just chilling in the sun and reading waiting for your turn on the massage table: simply perfect afternoon. The restaurant in general was very affordable with high quality. We loved the nachos! In general the vibe is so relaxing that after (sadly only) three nights we were completely relaxed and calm. Our absolute highlight was the movie night! Free popcorn for everybody and somehow they turned the chill pool area into having a cozy living room kinda vibe. Lovely We would recommend everyone to stay there if you want to have the urge to never leave a hostel again;) Thank you!

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in by far! The price is incredible for what’s included and the quality of what is included. The staff make this place amazing. I was happy everyday because of them and found everyone, guests as well, so friendly and inviting! Only hostel I’ll stay in if I come back to Ubud.

Great hostel with a great vibe! By far one of the best hostels I've stayed at to date! Right from the service, to the hospitality, to the friendliness of the staff, to the room size, to the air con, the bathrooms, i mean just AMAZING! the bed could fit two people and the pillows were the only comfortable pillows i slept on my entire trip! They always have a ton of activities with a whole bunch of sister hostels in the area so do go for those, as a solo traveller i got to meet a lot of people. The only thing that could possibly be better is the breakfast which for me - i would've liked more options.
