👍👍 Very beautiful, amazing. The Royal Palace Peliatan is not located in the center of Ubud, so not in front of the Ubud market. (Tripadvisor indicates the wrong location) No, it is 7 blocks away (about 1500m, in Desa Peliatan)), but this palace is much nicer. The name Peliatan Royal Palace is not known... People often mention palace, beautiful, Peliatan, visit, Royal, Ubud, dance, Balinese, Palace, Puri,

Very beautiful, amazing. The Royal Palace Peliatan is not located in the center of Ubud, so not in front of the Ubud market. (Tripadvisor indicates the wrong location) No, it is 7 blocks away (about 1500m, in Desa Peliatan)), but this palace is much nicer. The name Peliatan Royal Palace is not known to the locals, but: Puri Agung Peliatan. Puri Agung Peliatan built in the 17th century, is one of the oldest temples in Bali and one of the many Royal Palaces. If you don’t have a sarong with you, you can rent one for 20k IDR pp, but then you get beautiful (local) clothing. You can partly visit this beautiful palace on the outside. Where the Royal family lives is not public or accessible. Because this palace is still the residence of the local Peliatan Royal Family. The buildings and its interior are amazingly beautiful and look well maintained. We liked it much better than the Royal Palace in Ubud. We received explanations from a friendly female guide, Jasmine. This Royal Palace is a must and definitely worth a visit. Donation only. Strongly recommended !

One of the two royal palaces in Ubud. This one is beautiful and make sure to visit all the courtyards and see the last sanctuary of the last king

We spent some time wandering around the beautiful palace complex mid morning. It wasn't too crowded at this time and we were able to admire the beautiful architecture and gardens at leisure. Well worth a visit if you're in Ubud.

Came in the evening for the Gunung Sari dance performances. 100k per ticket for about 1 hour, and 6 or so different dances. Each was a hypnotic display, and a beautiful experience. The temple itself is typically ornate, and the community is wonderful. There were only a dozen or so in the audience, so it felt almost like a private dance! Suksma to all the beautiful performers for such a wonderful evening :)

The landmark of Peliatan Village, housing the royal blood. Here you can visit everyday for their Balinese architecture. You can also enjoy regular weekly show which scheduled for Thursday (Kecak Dance) and Saturday (Various Balinese dances including Barong Dance). The shows usually starts at 7:30 p.m. The dance is accompanied by Gunung Sari gamelan assembly which founded by A.A. Gde Mandera in 1921 and has made their show abroad for several time started in 30's thus made Balinese music and dances known all over the world. Current entrance fee for the show is only Rp 100,000.

Great tour at a reasonable price. You have to dress the part to walk through. Lots of photo ops. Nice history and all questions answered. It's like a fancy historic family compound however the families are not accessible.

Nice and fun experience! You pay the entrance and get traditional clothing to wear and take pictures. You can only visit a small part of the palace but this part is beautifully decorated. It’s more for taking pictures but it is interesting to have a look inside their house. Better then the bigger Ubud Palace.

This seems to be the stage where popular Balinese dance teams perform. A bronze statue of a dancing woman has also been made. Apparently there was a Kecak dance being performed on the stage, but I didn't have time this time so I only came to see the Royal Palace.

The place was empty due to some virus outbreak. The lady was wearing mask but was very helpful at taking our pictures. She helped to identify different deities.

Let me start with saying we saw the king. He folded his hands in Namsate. We did too. Surreal experience meeting a real king. He was humble and down to earth 💓. The palace is not huge as found in India, but filled with nature at every nook and corner. Very very beautiful place. The royals actually kive there and welcome people to come and visit and look around. They have kept a small portion of the palace private. We loved this place. My respects to the king 🤴 🙏🙏

(Translated by Google) Because it is a semi-outdoor venue with a unique Balinese architecture like a sumo wrestling ring, it has a slight reverberation and great sound. Therefore, there is a synergistic effect of being easily drawn into the dance. It is about 2.5 km away from the center of Ubud and it is hard to say that it is within walking distance. Although it is amateurish, there is a strong impression that the gender nuance between men and women is strong, and the completed performance has no moment to bore the audience for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The royal palace itself is also honest and wonderful. [Bottari information] The salesperson of the drink is abnormal and persistent on the premises. (Maybe because I was Japanese). The reason why I dare to think of it is that I am looking at my feet by race. The point is that it is licked. ・ Actual value `` Orange juice 300ml '' Bottle notation list price 5500 rupee Selling price 40000 Rupee Sell price to white 10,000 rupee (or rather no call at all) No need to buy. So bad "I'll give you 1000 rupees so go away." Let's say I bought it for 25000rpt. Because it was really persistent (of which 5000rpt. Was stripped off). The best performances and venues will be ruined.
