👍👍 Had an amazing education into local culture and fresh products that make skin care fun again Shampoo, scrub, sunscreen and boreh. Boreh is a healing scrub we made and we actually placed this onto my back where I had a twinge from riding. It heats and works it’s way into your skin. Twinge is gone and... Dewi has an amazing amount of botanical knowledge it was great to learn from her. I also brought some lovely lotus oil home. Recommend. Some lovely vendors down the street that treated me like a princess. Easy walk from monkey forest.

Boreh is a healing scrub we made and we actually placed this onto my back where I had a twinge from riding. It heats and works it’s way into your skin. Twinge is gone and never come back amazing. Great for sinus and cold ext as you place it on and sleep with it on your skin working through the night So pleased to find a workshop that was easy to do and very cost effective at app $35 Aus it’s well worth checking out. I’ll be back to do a coconut oil work shop or botanical walk to find all the great plants that are used in the products

It was soo nice to meet new people and to learn about natural cosmetic products. I learned so so much and will do it at home again. After the workshop I bought so many things, because their are perfectly as gifts. All in all, it was a great experience.

The product-making class was a great experience. We had fun and took away our own made products (shampoo, sun lotion, scrub and "tiger balm" and crucially the knowledge to make them again - all in all really good value. There are plenty of other, more complex products for sale there but no pressure to buy. A lovely time was had by all.

What an amazing place. Dewi and her partner are just fabulous. We learnt how to make sunscreen, shampoo, a facial scrub and more, all from natural products. Dewi is university educated, and her knowledge of each plant along the way on the guided tour is just phenomenal. Her English is great, and she has a great story to tell about her life. Dewi hasn't come from a family of privilege, she has studied hard, and made a name for herself. You'll love what you learn, and you'll take home some products that you have made yourself out of natural ingredients. Well worth the effort to find them and do the course

It was a very special experience to create your own products. We were a very small group with only four people and the local woman who gave us the instructions was very friendly and always smiling. She also explained everything in detail. We could choose between different aromas in order to personalise our products which makes it even more personal. In total we produced one shampoo, one body scrub, one balinese healing scrub and a nature sunscreen. We also tried the products and the skin feels very soft. They prepared small plastic container so it was easy to take our products with us. We would definitely recommend this to everyone, you are directly supporting local people and get to know the Balinese culture :)

We did the botanical walk today, and we liked it very much. We were taken to the rice fields nearby the shop, and we learned a lot about plants growing around the rice fields. We would have never even seen these plants, yet they are used as spices (lemongrass!) or remedies. We really looked around with different eyes, once we learned about these plants and flowers. So thank you very much, Ubud Botany Team, it was a great experience! Unfortunately we did not have the time to do the workshop, but you can buy most of the skin care products at the shop to take home, so that is what we did. :-)

Let’s get honest people, I loved this because I’m a nerd. I’m a drinks writer and I’m specifically interested in agriculture right now. The 2 hour tour was a basic guide to Bali ecology and the basics of rice cultivation. That will be very interesting to if if it is very interesting to you. It is and was for me. The walk a low impact Q&A with a coconut water break in the middle. My wife got tired of me talking about it like 3 days ago.

I had 2programs in Ubud Botany Interactive. First, I joined Botany Walk and it took about 1hour and half. The guide just let me know the name mostly which I knew already and explained about some local plant for using. What I dissapointed at most is I felt wasting time for drinking coconut water to have a sit and relax. It was nice how local people drink coconut in different way but it took time quite a lot. I looked forward to this time but it was very expensive for Basic Botany Walk. Because I have been studying myself more than that. However, I liked Natural Herbal Product Making class. Because it was very simple, beautiful, lovely, new for me, and aromatherapy experience.

I did the Coconut Oil and the Botanical Products workshop and I enjoy it a lot. The team is super nice, they explain you all the details with love and give you alternative to make all the products again in your hometown if you live abroad. It's easy and fun and you will take home 4 super natural and organic products absolutely handmade! I am looking forward to do more products next time!

I did only the botanical walk and it was wonderful, if you want to do the Subak Jawuk Manis and to learn a lot about the plants and different use of it, then you should do the walk. Totally recommendable. Thank you so much 😊

I believe everybody with a passion for skincare and nature should visit Dewi. As a doctor specialized in skincare it's difficult to find people who don't just tell "stories" but really know what they are doing. Dewi does have this knowledge and besides of that she is an amazing person with a big heart. Can't recommend her enough! ❤️

Tiwi was an amazing teacher! An amazing class - I made the most amazing 4 products which I was allowed to take in 100ml bottles so I could take them on my flight 😄 highly recommend!!

I did the workshop where we made shampoo, sun care lotion, body scrub, and boreh. Tiwi is very knowledgeable and walked us through every step, helping us individually if needed, and answered all of our questions. It is clear that she is an expert in the natural remedies of plants and the process they are made, and a great teacher. All the products are locally made using plants of Balinese farmers. Since every ingredient is fresh, the products can only be used for 1-3 weeks but we got recipes at the end and she suggested other ingredients to use if we could not find an ingredient in our home country. We also got to sample her products and use the essential oils from the store in our products. Good price and would recommend to anyone who likes skincare, organic products, and wants to learn about Balinese culture and plants.

I did a workshop and made my own shampoo, tiger balm, sunscreen and body scrub. The lady was super professional, patient and explained everything very well. I’ve already used the products and it feels better than branded skincare. Would definitely recommend, was a great stop during the trip.

We took the workshop and we had a lot of fun. We end up with 4 products which is really good. She was very descriptive which added more to the experience. The lady was kind enough to suggest us places to eat nearby which turned to be awesome as well.

Dewi is a very patient teacher, and it was very interesting learning about how her ancestors would make these products, and how she still makes them today! Really cool and affordable to be able to take the things you make home, too.

This was an incredible experience. Thank you to Dewi and her crew for an amazing morning. Their knowledge and hospitality are second to none. We loved the products and the experience. Do yourself a favour and book the Combined Tour, absolutely worth it.

I did the morning walk, followed by the interactive class yesterday. I can honestly say if you do nothing else on your visit to Bali, this activity is a must do. The walk starts across an old stone bridge, through some bush and then up into the rice paddies at the back of Ubud. The views across the paddies are beautiful. It’s like stepping into yesteryear. My guide, Tiwi, was very knowledgeable and so interesting. We ate small berries straight from the tree, drank natural “lemonade” from native hibiscus flowers, again, straight from the tree. We then descended back into Ubud for the workshop. The workshop is an experience in itself. I got to make sunblock, body scrub, shampoo and healing body scrub using all natural ingredients and a mortar and pestle. The products are wonderful to use. These people live in paradise and for a while I got to share it with them. If you’re not up to doing the walk - at 66 I found it easy- you can just do the workshop.

I went there a few days ago with my friend for the Botanical Products Workshop. It was one of the best experiences on my trip so far. You make 4 natural cosmetic products (sunscreen, body scrub, shampoo and a Balinese healing body scrub) yourself and get to try so many of the other amazing products they sell. It’s just so beautiful to make the products you use with your own hands and to know exactly what’s in there and what’s it’s purpose. I feel grateful that she decided to share her knowledge with others and I think everybody should take the opportunity to learn from her.

We came to this place with our family and it was a new experience for me and especially my daughter to learn about plants. She was very happy to learn and to make products from natural ingredients. The most important thing for us ist is that all the ingredients used are very easy to find around our garden, so the kids can make them again when we return home. We liked their products also very much, especially the essential oils. We bought some essential oils, my favourite one is frangipani. They have a lot of essential oils in their store. We were told you can order bigger sizes as well, and they deliver to other countries. We felt happy to spend our time at Ubud Botany Interactive, the UBI Team is very nice.

The workshop botanical product was an amazing experience! It was so interesting to make my own natural product, so close to balinese traditions. Dewi and Tiwi were so nice and answered all my questions!💕
