Must visit place, Contains rare statues and scripts. Get a great view of Lake. Mostly ignored and not get much attention due to some internal conflict.

This is within the premises of City Palace and controlled by Government. You have to buy separate ticket to visit this museum. This museum contains different articles . Remarkably stone blocks and pieces of pillars and beams with carvings of ancient language.stone sculptures and other mughal artifacts are in display. From the windows of this museum main hall you can see a beautiful view of Jagmandir and lake pichola. A must visit place for city palace visitors.

This museum is located inside the City Palace Premises containing all the artefacts of Rajput Dynasty and Maharana Pratap. A place worth visiting of history enthusiast people. Entry fees is ₹20 per person as on 2022.

The museum complex is split into 4 parts: 1. Armoury and hunted animals 2. Artifact's 3. Idols and inscriptions 4. Paintings It house some of the rarest incription that provide details about Mewar and surrounding areas. There are some beautifully carved idols belonging to Shaiv, Shakti and Vaishnav sects/temples. There is also a section for paintings with paintins of many Maharanas of Mewar and the Sisodia Dynasty. The museum itself is very poorly maintained and there are many artficats that are just lying in the open exposed to nature. It needs some serious effort to preseve the heritage and knowledge that is housed in this museum. Desrves a 5* for the wealth of information that it contains about Mewar but ratig it 3 for lack of maintenance

City Palace (Raj Mahal), Udaipur is a palace complex situated in the city of Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Its construction began in 1553, started by Maharana Udai Singh II of the Sisodia Rajput family as he shifted his capital from the erstwhile Chittor to the newfound city of Udaipur.[1] The palace is located on the east bank of Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex
