I visited at 12:30 in the afternoon on a hot afternoon towards the onset of summer and it wasn't a pleasant experience. But it's is true that from this location viewing the sunset would be idyllic. One gets a fantastic 360° view of Udaipur, particularly it's lakes and palaces. Udaipur is not a very large city, so one can see a lot of the city from here. I was given to believe that telescopes would be available in the evenings when the view is clearer.

The best point I have seen in udaipur, the whole city can be viewed from this point. Being at very height, the view is awesome 🥰🥰, feel that cool breeze, evening time it is breathtaking. Nature is the best creator, this line u can feel here. We can track to this point as well as cable car is also here. One resturant is also here where u can grab some bites and some drinks. It's a sunset point from karni mata mandir. Great place if you want to see sunset. Roadway facility is available there. After that you can also do some darshan. You can also enjoy full view of pichola lake from there. Overall recommended.....

Best viewpoint of udaipur city

Sunset views were mesmerizing.. A definitely different angle from what you capture from the city! The hike is not very difficult. I would recommend to take it on the way up, visit the karni mata temple, watch the sunset views, buy the ticket for cable car, enjoy the refreshments while you wait out there, and head back down in the cable car which will drop you off closer to the hiking point.

The best sunrise view as well as sunset view too... The calm you feel after that mesmerizing view. It's just heavrnly. You can have a look of a part of city Udaipur as well as Lake pichola. A must visit.

Karni mata temple is a religious place located on hills. It is about 3 km from city palace. You can enjoy the sunset and night view awesome city lights and mind blowing breezes from this place

We hiked, the path was good. Wow, the sight was mesmerizing ! Sun setting on the ranges of Aravalli! We took the ropeway for downhill.
