It feels so good to see how the city’s food scene is changing drastically with new ventures coming into the action, inspired by some super successful ventures from different parts of the country! For the first time ordered Biryani, from a newly opened venture delivering via Swiggy and Zomato, called Haandi Udaipur My order for the evening was chicken biryani (priced ₹300, after swiggy discount only ₹200) and exactly within 30 minutes it was delivered. First the packaging. Neat and detailed. The handi was completely wrapped with silver foil, the accompaniments were neatly packed along with good quality disposable and a bowl of rich gravy. The handi lid was covered properly with dough to keep the dum intact. The quantity was more than enough for two people with four large prices of chicken including a drumstick. Excellent in taste, and personally I like Biryani only when it is cooked with dum. It was just perfect for my likings. Long grains of aromatic rices perfectly cooked and layered with spicy, juicy pieces of chicken. The blend of the spices and the heat quotient were absolutely brilliant. I am going to try their other popular preparation like tandoori egg and mutton soon. Overall, after Biryanified, I can delightfully recommend Haandi Udaipur for good quality biryani.

When they say the matki quantity is enough for 3-4 person, they are lying. Even after paying good money, if they don't serve adequate portion size, then its a cheating with their customers. I ordered via swiggy and i feel so cheated. Would like to give it zero stars
