Good vegetarian restaurant in Udaipur. They have three floors one floor serves Thali, usually you need to wait here for 15 min to 30 min based on rush. Second floor is for restaurant. Comparatively less crowd. Third floor is for Parties. Ground floor ice-cream shop was closed. Good food. Little bit expensive. Food quantity was just enough. Service is okay. However some improvement on cleanliness is needed in Restaurant area. Parking facilities are available. Parcel service is available. Net banking payments and card payments are acceptable. Overall experience is satisfactory.

Awesome vegetarian thali at a very reasonable price. We skipped lunch while travelling to Udaipur so turned up at 6:30pm really hungry. The first floor is labelled Thali and we made a beeline there. We found a lot of empty tables (early for dinner here) with empty thali plates/bowls and settled down at one of them. Within a few minutes they started bringing out food to fill the bowls in the thali. The staff serving were very warm and welcoming and patiently offered/served all the items. Here’s the items I noted down so I don’t forget Dhokla Salad Bhendi curry Halwa Paneer curry Aloo curry Black Chana curry Dal tadka Kadi Paneer chilla Phulka Besan chilla Chaaj (buttermilk) Khuchdi The portions are generous and they seem more than happy to serve enough to fill you up and more. Even my son who wasn’t happy about eating Indian food was very happy. We all had our favourite dish.

Best in Udaipur, they have brilliant thalis and you can't even eat it at once, it's huge and fulfill your tummy at once. They have amazing sweets, vegetables and they even have Gujrati and rajasthani option in thalis. I loved their gulab jamuns and pittod, custard and malpuas are too good. Natraj is very close to Railway Station and adjacent to Udaipole Circle. Owner is too sweet but their son who is now mostly running the place is stupid. He once allowed a drunk man to sit on the same table me and my mother was sitting and that man misbehaved. This does not happen everday so yeah just letting it go. Overall they're good. On the 2nd floor they serve Dal Bati which is also amazing.

There are 2 different floors, one for Thali and one for restaurant, highly recommend going to the Thali section first and that too in the evening coz you will end up eating more than you normally do, the speed of service, the taste of the food, the quality, the politeness of staff, everything is top notch and what you would want it to be

Food seemed super hygenic and felt like a home meal. Taste was really good . One of the oldest restaurants in udaipur and it is upto the mark. Would appreciate if more rajasthani food options are made available. Or else everything was good. If you want to feel content you can visit this place.

Throwback to the golden days i lived in udaipur,This authentic rajasthani thali was an essential meal. The Aroma of Ghee accompanying made it quite exceptional and heavy.The curry served had a slight tart taste,the amount of curd in it was totally balanced.Batti was precisely dipped in ghee,due to which it was very soft. Churma served in the thali was heaven. Dal,i found it bit spicy but it went perfect with batti❤ When i got to know about our trip i was keen about tasting the genuine rajasthani bite. And after having actual rajasthani food,i can say food served by every State in India has its own speciality,spices,aroma.

They serve the food like we are their special guest. Every time they serve different dishes with full of smile. All the staff member specially manager and owner are down to earth. They even stand for every one through out the day. The food is very delicious and prepared in good oil with proper ratio of species. I recommended Natraj family restaurant (Bapu bazar). This is the first choice of every udaipur resident. The price of unlimited food of thali is Only Rs. 230. This is the genuine price. I thanks to local resident who recommended this restaurant.

Food tastes very good. You can get unlimited refills except for the curd and the sweet. Service is one of the best I have ever seen in all the restaurants I've ever been to. The staff is always on their toes. You never have to call them...they will be on your table even before you require them to be like they can read your minds. 😀 Really really impressed. Although one area where it can work upon is the washrooms. They were not at all clean and had a very bad odour.

Natraj Restaurant is quite a famous name in Udaipur. They have two branches - I visited the one in Bapu Nagar where they serve unlimited thali option. The other one has A La Carte dining options. The unlimited thali had kachori, daal, chana subzi, paneer subzi, aloo sukha, bhindi, ghee phulkas, papad, salad, dahi, chutney, rice and gulabjamun. Apart from sweet, any item can be repeated. I found the overall taste to be quite homely and good. The pricing also felt quite appropriate.

No idea why it’s so famous. Apparently people told us afterward that we should have gone to the one on railway station. We did realized the menu is different too. This is a thali house not a restaurant. They should mention it outside, they do not serve a-la-carte. The food taste ok not worth the hype. The portion is too small is you get it for to go. Overall I have mixed feelings as the food is not so bad but the overall service was crazy.
