Best place in udaipur to hangout with your friends in weekends. I have been to this place thrice and totally loved it. The food, the view, the vibe everything is amazing there. Best time to visit this place is right before sunset so that you can enjoy your tasty meal watching sunset near lake pichola. This place has amazing view from the rooftop. Absolutely loved the place and vibe. The lakeside view with good food was a win. Wood fired was yum and even the pasta was good. Overall the taste, place and vibe was really goood. Was just amazed by the view😍💯

Overall 5 stars for food. But staff is not really friendly, they had most of the space available but they put reserved sign on table. During our visit of 1.5 hours no one came in and asked why they didn't give us other table had no answer. Good place during sunset. But again just go and sit at the table instead of asking if you see reserved sign

Definitely 5/5 for ambience but -5/5 for service and taste. I ordered beverage within 5min of entering the cafe and within 5min order was ready and about 10min they again asked for another order. Then again after 5min they asked if they should bring bill i. First of all the taste of coffee and all beverage was just sugar i mean literally you will find the taste at "tapri" much better then here What I'm paying for i don't get it if you don't let me sit for 20min and charge hefty amount just for sugar. Also staff was definitely useless and i was getting feeling as he is doing us a favour

The view from this place is one of the best lake views you can get in udaipur. The cafe has 3 floors of seating space ,the best one being the terrace of course. The quality of food was good, fairly priced and the ambience was great! Its just that the staff needs to brush up on their hospitality. As the place was crowded , some staff members were a bit rude when we insisted on waiting for the table on the terrace. Otherwise it was a great experience with good pizza (one of the best wood fired pizzas in udaipur) and the drinks were well prepared. The walnut brownie was also really delicious and light.

Loved the view from the roof. The cafe at the ground floor was also good but the view from the roof is better. Food was good as well. We had a salad, sandwich and coffee. Taste was excellent. Service is also fast even if it's fully packed.

Visited Jheel for lunch on a hot afternoon in February. We climbed three flights of stairs to get to the rooftop seating and the view of Lake Pichola was a sight to behold. After waiting for a few minutes, we got seating at a table that was not in direct sunlight. We called for pasta, fries and a sandwich and a few drinks. The food took awfully long to arrive and wasn’t particularly outstanding or worth the wait. The drinks however arrived fairly quickly and helped us cool down after our long walk around the town. I am not particularly sure as to why This cafe is so highly recommended but I’d personally like to accredit it to the views. Everything else - food, seating, service quality etc is average at best. Would I visit again? No. Would I recommend this cafe to others? If you like to dine with a picturesque backdrop, without much regard to the other elements at a restaurant, then heck yes. Otherwise, I’d rate this coffee bar as a Skip.

Being the frequent visitor i love the Taste, varitey and services offered at very affordable prices. Few things might make you think to visit again. • Most of the times you don't get Space to enjoy the ambiance and the Quality time. • Time limit even if you are ordering Decent Amount of food. This applies even if there is no/ less crowd. • Don't get hyper if you experience the Best hospitality from the Staff by passing you the comments on Time. • Feedback are Taken well if shared with the owners but when shared with staff they get offended easily and might say you not to Threat them. The only selling point for this cafe is the view, certainly one of the best lake view cafes in udaipur. It is quite overrated & overpriced for the quality of food. The staff is not as friendly as you expect. The place is super congested but the view is nice. I tried their coffees which were fine, although surprisingly the pesto cheese sandwich was really good. Hummus falafel platter was bad. Pizza is fine. Other than this place is really good & worth your visit especially for breakfast & brunch time when it is less crowded.

Nice restaurant but not so nice service. I was there with my wife and mother and she wanted to sit in the corner to stretch her legs. The server said you'll use up a 4 chair seating for three people so no you can't sit there. We had already ordered coffee and would've ordered more things but decided to leave instead. All the best views and best food will not help if the staff does not provide good customer service.

I hated this place. The prices are super high for the service they give. We were kicked out foe no reason of the table we wanted to use, then they forgot one of the dishes we ordered so we had to ask again, they didn't wanna allow me to use the only charging point they have in the entore cafe (no one else wanted to use it), last but not least they tried to charge us for something we didn't order not consumed. Food is good and view is amazing, but not worth enough. PLUS IT'S SUPER HARD TO FIND!

The best thing about the cafe is its location. You can get a seat just next to the lake. But be warned, the lake is not that clean. If you want to sit at the roof top then be ready to climb a few floors. The view is pretty. As for food, it's good although I expected more given the reputation of the place. Please avoid visiting the rooftop during the day, it's too hot and lacks any air conditioning or even a fan. One big suggestion, please add some music. The vibe seems incomplete without it. Also, please provide a few more cushions to add comfort for the people planning for a longer stay.

Well another over hyped place, don't fall for the reviews. Rudest staff and service, asked if we can wait outside as it was full at the time of our visit, and the person on the counter snapped at us on every question I asked including other customers who were already sitting there. The cafe is located at a prime spot. The views are amazing. Especially at night. The food here is average. The staff and service was not so good. We were not allowed to occupy the seat of our choice even when the cafe was not at all crowded.

If you value your health, do not come here. This restaurant operates in blatant violation of COVID-19 norms. No distancing. About 30 people are squeezed into 80 sqft. Cooks and servers are not wearing masks. Manager’s justification for violating public health measures was “other restaurants do the same thing”. The local CMHO to take appropriate action to enforce public health measures.

Ordered veg supreme pizza. Neutella hot chocolate was not thick. Regular hot chocolate was okish. Inshort the taste was average. Domino's Pizza is better than this. Restaurant is well maintained and good lake view. Price is too high for the food they serve.

Cute cafe with fantastic food, though a little expensive. We went in for brunch and they have multiple floors to get the lake pichhola view. The view is fantastic, even if the lake is not as maintained as expected. The lanes to reach the whole area is narrow, so suggest to take a 2 wheeler on rent rather than driving any car. The staff was also courteous and polite and service was decent, faster than other places.

It could have been 5star, but staff is not trained for hospitality, rather would say rude. Apart from that rest all is good food, taste and views. Cleanliness can be better. Avoid guests stopping on stairs, can be dangerous as they ar quit narrow if u wanna go on higher floors. Better reach on foot or two wheelers, car can not reach there.

What an amazing cafe! Brilliant food, excellent location and mind blowing view of the lake. We ordered wood fire margarita pizza, falafel wrap and chocolate pie... All were super delicious and the best I've had.

Trust me when I say this, Jheel's Ginger Coffee Bar has the best lake you you'll get in Udaipur. They have different seating arrangement. If you want to be a closer view of the lake go for the patio on the ground floor, they also have seating space on the 3rd and 4th floors. 1st and 2nd floors are their hotel rooms. We sat on the ground floor patio for our breakfast and everyone absolutely loved it. It is a must visit place if you are in Udaipur. We ordered Chilli Cheese Toast, Paneer Tikka Sandwich and Cold Coffees and they were delicious. They have different menu for the ground floor seating area and a different one for the upper floors. The ambiance is very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The food is fairly priced. The staff was polite and helpful.

The Pizzas were above average. Not enough cheese. A great place to vibe with your homies with great view. The service was good but place was crowded at evening. For those who plan to work from here, they won't allow using laptop inside the cafe.

This place is so well made that I fell in love with it. It's a 5-6 floor building with cafe sitting areas on the ground floor, 3rd, 4th & 5th floors. The 1st & 2nd floor has suite rooms. The whole cafe is well decored and the ambience is very soothing with a good view of lake Pichola. I was happy to see the whole menu had the majority of veg options. The service was quick and the staff was very good as well. My experience here with food was also very delightful. I visited here in the afternoon and was sitting on the 4th floor's open area yet the breeze was cool and I didn't feel uncomfortable for once. They serve wood fired pizzas which I and my husband loves a lot and gets very rarely. So we were very happy to have it and it tasted amazing. Over all this place is worth visiting and I loved everything about it.

The place is over Ambrai ghat and overlooks the beautiful lightings of temples during dinner. They serve amazing wood fire pizzas and pasta. Its on ground floor and then 4th and rooftop which is too much to climb but worth it.

Jheel as the name goes is quaint cafe by the lake( jheel) pichola in the vicinity of the Gangour Ghat. The moment you enter this cafe you are greeted by aroma of coffee and baked items which are at display on ground floor. The cafe has 3 seating areas. One on the ground floor parallel to the lake which is really a dreamy setting and other two on the rooftops one on 3rd floor and one on 4th floor. The view from all 3 seating areas is amazing but the ground floor is something totally different just 3-4 tables in balcony and water of the lake at same level it transports you into a different world. Coming to the food they are known for their wood fired pizzas and some nicely done sandwiches and pasta. Tried the pizza and it was yummy with homemade sauces and perfectly done thin crust. It's a vegetarian cafe and they have good selection of coffee as well. A must try in Udaipur and the best cafe on the Gangour Ghat side of the lake pichola.

My all time fav go to place. Best for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, whatever time you go. The ambience and the view are the best. I will suggest book a table prior if you are visiting at weekends or peak hour like dinner bcs tables are mostly full specially the tables with great view.

First of all you won't get place or permission to enter if you haven't booked or reserved your table during festive season. We returned thrice disappointed not getting place to eat. Fourth time we finally got to let in and then we ordered brownie which wasn't available. Thus we never made to eat at this cafe. ---------------- Reply to owner: If that was the case your staff should've guided us to reserve the place in advance. Give your staff some training. Don't you try to teach me management when you yourself are lacking in.

We stepped in Udaipur today and was really hungry, but this restaurant showed the worst hospitality I could ever experience. The staff is high headed for no reason, the team internally is not aligned... They will commit a table to you but will give it away for a larger group without your consent. And on that when asked for helping arrange a chair ( when we were ready to adjust in smaller table) they said they were busy and can't surve. Specially to the staff, you are doing what you are doing for customers please treat them well!

What an experience! The food, the vibes and the view, all of them just amazing! Their decor was also wonderful. Coffee was delicious! I ordered Pasta, Pizza and sandwich and everything was scrumptious, just yummy yum! Pancakes had too much of nutella but I can avoid that because overall the food and ambience were just too good! ;)

This cafe needs no introduction and when you step into this beautiful place you are sure to have a great time. The view of course is breathtaking and the food is just splendid. We had Panner tikka sandwich, Peanut butter and jam sandwich, Montage pizza and Humus pita and falafel platter. Pizza was amazing. Peanut butter sandwich was next level. If you are looking for an amazing breakfast with a picturesque view, this is the place for you.

Superb view of Lake Pichola, Taj Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. They have 5-6 floors without lift, so it's a steep climb. But the view makes it worth the effort. Food is good, a bit pricey. Service is a bit slow, can be improved. If you are in a hurry, avoid this place. This restaurant is made for people to relax and chill with a good view.

Firstly when I went to this only one table was occupied. I thought I will finish up some work while waiting for the coffee and sandwich I ordered. Seeing that I opened my laptop they refused to give me WiFi password. As soon as I finished the coffee and sandwich they were continuously pestering me to leave because I have laptop open. There were people in the cafe you came before me and ordered less than me but they didn’t seem bothered to ask them to leave. I go bagpacking all over India, this place is one of the worst service places. In Rajasthan in general I see people are very courteous and even if I buy a Rs 20 kachori plate they ask me to sit and I was blown over the hospitality. This place is a disgrace. I reached the cafe at 11:27 am and from 12:02 pm, I was being pestered to leave. In this case they should keep a 30 min cap. I also uploaded the picture of cafe of how empty it was when I was being pestered to leave. WiFi on the wall they put near the entrance is to cheat people. Suggestion: Please be clear with the rules in case you have any. No one was waiting because I was seated. Clearly mention that outside or when ordering food people with laptop not allowed to sit beyond a stipulated time, which in my case was 30 mins. Because cafes and Coffee bars across India operate differently.

Talking about the food and the service, they both are equally great. It can be tough to reach this place by a car. Find a decent parking spot, and if you can walk for at least one km, it shouldn't be a problem to reach this beautiful place.

Best cafe in Udaipur for evening sunset view . The staff is courteous and food is delicious. Their Veg Supreme Pizza is awesome. They have three floors for seating out of which one floor is air-conditioned and can be utilised for lunch when the sun is strong. Amazing food, spectacular view , prompt service. We tried their chef special pesto pizza, chef recommend pasta, hazelnut frappe and honey ginger lemon tea.

The view from the topmost one was great. The pizza was so good but i was really disappointed on the hot chocolate as it literally tasted like Bournvita in milk with some Hersheys ( I would recommend you not to order hot chocolate for 200 and getting this)

Jheel cafe is the one and quite famous, situated in the middle of old udaipur city. The lake view from the cafe is mesmerising. Although there were many such cafe’s nearby but i guess the reason jheel’s cafe is famous for is their food. A little expensive then usual but the view is worth of paying that much. Special recommendation for the black current shake.

This is a cute cafe with 3 floors and cosy dining. It was recommended by a friend. Since i was a solo traveler here, i ordered a cappuccino and Omelette with toast for breakfast. The food is average, coffee was good. I found the service a bit slow. A girl came to the cafe alone waiting for someone to join, the staff came in every 5 minutes to remind her for the order. The seemed a bit rude to me. Apart from this, the best part of the cafe is its view. This would be a great place to enjoy day or evening snacks with friends or family with a great view of lake pichola. I have seen the night time glory of thos place too. Its beautiful.

Staff is uncooperative, we ordered pizza, 1 hazelnut latte-200rps, hazelnut frappe-250rps, small cup. There was no hazelnut in it. Pizza was fine. The table was small enough to place this, so we asked to add another one, they refused even when there was enough space to place one. I think one can sit on the stairs of gangaur ghat which is adjacent to this place if not hungry. Visit around 5pm to get sunset vibes.
