Everything was good except the pool. Felt like a fish pond. There is a private pool if you use the massage service. The general pool is not well maintained at all.

Leela is beautifully situated on the bank of Lake Pichola. Your experience starts at Jetty point even before you reach the gates of Leela. A joyous boat ride, traditional welcome with folk singers, vast property with many amenities will enthrall you. Flute player in the morning, traditional dance in the evening and Santoor player in the lawns at dinner time is a rare experience that you get to enjoy daily. Professional and courteous staff at every corner ready to help you out. Few areas of improvement: Breakfast buffet can be significantly improved (such as addition of non-veg items and Chinese cuisine, better pastries, yogurt is consistently sour), kids entertainment area is below average, swimming pool is very deep (starts at 5'3"), Private pool must be clean, tiny steam room and shockingly no sauna.

There is some reason places like this are engraved on your heart forever. Right from their jetty guard to food waiter everyone is so humble and welcoming. The place is a dream place and nothing less. This was my first ever experience in Udaipur & it just blew my mind. This beautiful palatial property sits right on the banks of Lake Pichola & has one of the most beautiful sunsets here. The lawns are lush green & the property is fairly smaller in comparison to Udai Villas which isn’t a bad thing if you ask me. The area where the boat docks is a spot that you can spend a lot of time staring into the open water. They have traditional folk music performers who start performing to give you a royal reception. The inner courtyard was by far my favourite spot in the property. They have a musical performance followed by a traditional dance as well which happens around sunset. The hospitality is top notch & the food was really good too. I was there in Feb & it got really chilly in the evenings & I needed a jacket. Make sure to check the weather around the time of the year you’re planning your trip. All in all, this is one of my most memorable stays in Udaipur.

Had a wonderful evening at this beautiful place. Charges: 2500/- and 3500/- taxes extra depends on where you sit. I would suggest you sit in dining hall which is for 2500/- because nothing much special about sitting outside except mosquitoes! Staff is really friendly and they served us some complimentary snacks too. Worth it!

The location of the Leela Hotel is amazing, it looks like you are staying on the lake. The room I stayed in had an amazing view of the sunrise in the morning from my bed. But it had very poor service, not at all up to a 5-star mark. Anything requested from the service or private dining menu took 1 hour to be done. You can enjoy the stay, location is superbly awesome, food and their chef are simply amazing, I would suggest going there for special lunch or dinner, rather than booking a stay which is expensive and not up to the mark.

Amazing experience. You go for royalty and are treated with royalty at every section of the hotel. Food can be customized if needed which is amazing. The breakfast buffet is stellar. Evening breeze is calm and serene. Dinner at sheesh mahal is great as well.

The hotel is in a very good location, 5 minutes walking distance from the sea and the beach. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel, they are sold at very cheap prices, everything is great reception welcomed us very understanding helped with our bags very helpful the hotel is very clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, it is very successful, I recommend it to everyone”

Spectacular, across the board One of the things I noticed, is your staff truly had a 5 star mentality. At the restaurant I ordered a passion fruit and lemonade which the bar didn't have, however they took the initiative to make a similar drink for me - small things like that show that this hotels hospitality is on another level. Beautiful. Luxury. Phenomenal.

Leela Palace.,. Heaven!!! In one word. What a beauty... If you have the money and want to indulge on romantic holidays with no holds bar... This is the place for you. Have not been to a more splendid property with a combination of royalty and style. Right from the pick up point, which is by boat, to the rooms, to palace gardens. The service staff is impeccable and always ready to please. Bang on the famous Lake Pichola be it the morning or evening the views from the room or gardens and simply spell binding!! No better time to visit than Oct - Nov - Dec or probably even Jan (if you can take the near freezing cold ). Brilliant place for Destination weddings. Super place to have concert. Great place to have office conventions or R& R events (I was part of one). Thanks Leela Palace for hosting us !!

The room in which we stayed was very well appointed and comfortable. The housekeeping services were excellent and any need of our was fulfilled expeditiously. We were impressed by the attention and service provided by House Zkeroer Hukum Singh. Also all the people at the front desk were very helpful. Breakfast and banquet food was excellent. And the location is fabulous

Place is absolutely perfect for spending your special evening with peace and good hospitality. They always try to take care of your need’s and try to meet your expectations. We went for family dinner and enjoyed thoroughly with majestic views and flavourful food.

The hospitality was outstanding. Neha who was our butler..simply went out of her way as did Sai at the reception. The manager was v gracious about a transportation mistake and more than made up for it. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and everyone who served us, did so with a smile. Absolutely heavenly place. We totally enjoyed our stay. I am glad we chose the Leela. Highly recommend.

I went few days ago near your hotel..The outside view awesome 👌...inside view luxurious which I saw from your website bt near the entrance auto bike and all crowd make the feel bad..conjusted area,specially the staff gate,staff gate is full of crowd .I Dont blame the staff members bt the people staying nearby makes area suffocated.

Thanks Leela Udaipur for making our vacation so comfortable and memorable. its a beautiful property very well maintained with a spectacular view of Lake Pichola. Staff is very friendly, prompt room service and delicious food. There were 2 things which bothered me. First was the breakfast was exactly the same for all the 3 days that we stayed at Leela. It would have been better if their had been some changes in menu. Second was there was no child playing area on the property as we had 2 toddlers who needed to be kept occupied. We had an extremely comfortable stay at Leela and will certainly recommend this property to our friends. Regards

Never ever had such a bad service experience in any 5 star. Been here a lot of times, but oh Bouy today the service was so terrible. You feel a 3 star property would give you better service then this place. The steward didnt bother to ask for how was the food or the experience even once, the staff seem to be unbotthered about our presence at the restaurant. No basic courtesy was seen which made us felt so unwelcomed. We had to repeadtedly call for service and clearance even though the restaurant was not busy. They got us the Biryani didnt bother to serve us or even to give a spoon with it. The mocktails we ordered were horriblly bitter and with no taste, asked them to change it and got another one but not a new one. They altered it and gave us back which didnt taste very well even after that. Surely, Not worth paying up the amount we paid. I think you can definitely pass having Lunch or dinners till the management not decides to pull up their socks back again. Would definitely not recommend.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms have everything you need and the staff is really kind, welcoming and supportive. I had dinner in front of the lake and the chef was excellent and prepared food according to what I liked. Finally the Spa is incredible! You can stay to use the spa’s swimming pool after a relaxing massage. I had an amazing time at the Leela!

Absolutely Amazing. Best experience of Dinning . We went there just for Dinner so i am writing about that only . Sheesh mahal is the most beautiful restaurant as anyone can see in easily online available pictures. LAke facing tables and view of Golden lit city palace is just amazing. You can reach here by boat and jetty is near jal burj. Boat ride in Pichhola itself is the most romantic experience. Food is delicious. Rajasthani delicacies are extraordinary and authentic. Must go.
