This ghat is located at Lake Pichola just behind the Jagdish Mandir. The entrance gate is very architectural and huge. The view of the lake is magnificent as we enter from the gate. Big lake, boats 🚤 moving around. You can see Taj Lake Palace hotel between the lake and surrounded by many heritage buildings, hotels, buildings and restaurants. One may visit many ghats from inside which are attached from each other having many temples. There is one over bridge on the lake from the ghat where it is great to walk and do excellent photography. Great views specially during sunset. Awesome 🤩

Its one of the best place to visit in evening at especially at sunset time. U can get the feeling of cool breezes around the lake and have an visit to bagore ki haveli as well. As they have traditional dance show at 7pm, though u have to buy ticket around 4.30 in d the evening for that. Till then, u can just sit there and enjoy the view of Lake Pichola and plus you can enjoy the local music as well.

A peaceful place, stroll around during sunset and night for a majestic view of Udaipur landscape, lake pichola, The Taj Hotel…. We luckily met a group of singers who performed their heart out and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.

A beautiful view point...u can sit on the stairs that lead to the lake...very very gud place for youngsters to hang out...lots of people feed pigeons and they are touchy if you make videos in close proximity with the pigeons...their point is not to disturb them while eating...so take a call while adoring the pigeons...otherwise this is the best place for youngsters' hangout...just at the lakeside is BOHO cafe...smoking is allowed around the cafe...bagore ki haveli is just on this ghat...its a normal haveli...ghat is a better place to sit and chill...the lakeside is very very serene...some people have still spat on the spot...just stay safe and have a gud time at the ghat...

Gangaur Ghat is a prime location of Udaipur that is situated in the heart of the city; streaming through the old veins of the old city area. Gangaur Ghat serves itself for various purposes including the convenience of locals, serenity to tourists and a hanging spot to the young blood of Udaipur.

Place worth visiting when in Udaipur. Its mainly a place where you can just sit and enjoy the view in the evening, you can have the photoshoots around the same, you might get few special pics with the pigeons which make them amazing. Its better if you visit the place at evening or early morning.

A trip to Udaipur is never fulfilled without a visit to the Gangour Ghat located along the Banks of Lake Pichola. Though the Lake is dotted with numerous Ghats, Gangour Ghat is the most popular of all. This is due to its proximity to various 'Must See' places of old Udaipur like the Market and Udaipur Fort. There is a paid parking place at the entrance to the Ghat. Entry into the Ghat is free. The best time to visit is during Sunrise or Sunset. The place is a Shutterbugs delight with the well lit landscape of the opposite Bank with its shimnering reflections into the azure waters providing a smacking scenery. Sitting on the huge granite steps leading to the river, one can enjoy a romantic interlude with nature. Though the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired, a monumental share of the blame lies with We, The Tourists. A visit to this spot which is at tge edge of the old city is unmissable.

Amazing property, it's the best destination if you want to stay away from the pollution, noise and traffic. Very beautiful property you can click good pictures. The food is awesome and hospitality is up to the mark. We stayed at Taj Lake Palace for 3 days and felt it's sufficient as this is a small and beautiful property and can explore everything within. You can click some amazing pictures. Must visit.

Awesome place in Lucknow, visit before sunset and watch the beauty. You will also see pigeons here, I loved feeding them and watching them peacefully. Also, do visit the dance show, it was awesome. There is also a museum here but not that good. Visit the ghat for sunset and then you can watch the show from 7 pm to 8 pm and thank me later by liking my review.

The view from here is very nice especially when it starts to get darker. The city will be lit with yellow lights all over. This is a good place to sit and enjoy the lake view, you can also see the Taj hotel at a distance from here and you can sit on the steps and watch the scenic beauty of the city.

As the sun sets, the artificial lake transforms into a captivating spectacle. Lights illuminate the surroundings, creating a magical reflection that resembles a sea of flickering diyas. The lake's edges are lined with cozy cafes, offering a delightful setting to unwind. Wandering along the lake unveils a lively scene – quaint cafes on both sides, each with its own charm. Street vendors showcase Rajasthani treasures, clothing, and quirky fridge magnets, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. However, a silent issue lurks beneath the surface – the water, murky and unpleasant-smelling, raises concerns about hygiene. Urging authorities to step in, it's disheartening to witness neglect in the midst of this lively hub. Despite this challenge, the lake remains a magnet for crowds and tourists, who soak in the lively ambiance, perhaps unaware of the submerged struggle demanding attention.

It is clean and a pilgrimage place with a view of the Pichola lake. This place during evening hours is ethereal and has such a vibe that can't be described in words. A lively area of Udaipur on the banks of old city.

You must know 👇 Gangaur is one of the most important local festivals in Rajasthan. Traditional processions of Gangaur commences from the City Palace, and several other places, which passes through various areas of the city. The procession is headed by an old palanquins, chariots, bullock carts and performance by folk artistes. After the processions are complete, the idols of Gan and Gauri are brought to this ghat and immersed in the Lake Pichola from here.

I just love this place. Setting there alone brings inner peace. Sit near the water n listen songs, talk to people, paint, draw, write, think do whatever you feel like doing. With the pigeon being around flying, this place looks breathtaking during the sunset. If you are a tourist you should visit this place and enjoy the peace it brings to you.

Decent palace with beautiful paintings and sculptures. Takes about 2 hours to go through everything but it is worth the money and effort. Difficult to reach though from the city, lanes are narrow and traffic jams are frequent. Best is to park your car at a distance and walk the last mile.

It was nice see the traditional dance forms of Rajasthan. I would say a must visit place , as you might not get a chance to see this anywhere else . It was very well organised.. on time..and lovely And keep in mind the queue for the tickets starts one hour prior to the time they start selling the tickets.. so be early and grab yours 😉

A good place for photography and to see sunset. The place has lot of pigeons and vendors that sell bird food for visitors, also local come here a lot. The place is mostly crowded so not a spot for calm sitting. The floor is mostly wet and pigeon poop is all over. The water here is not that clean, just the view is fine. Parking is not great, tourists better rent a Activa and explore for ease of parking.

Beautiful place to visit while your trip to Udaipur, a must visit place during evening time as you will experience the beauty of this place. You will have to buy entry tickets and also if you are planning for any photo session or pre wedding you have to pay extra, depends on the camera that you are using. Many couples and photographers recommend this place for pre wedding photography due to its beauty and background. This place is located on the banks of beautiful Lake Pichola and opposite to the City Palace.

A beautiful place to be during mornings or in the evenings. This place offers amazing view of Lake pichola and taj hotel. Located inside the heart of city and at walking distance from city palace entry gate. You can also enjoy the traditional Rajasthani culture and dance show just behind this Ghat. There is a place very close to this Ghat which organizes such shows in the evening. Enjoy the beautiful views of City Palace. Lots of pigeons. I loved this place too much.

It was an nice place for a outing. I went there in the morning the experience was great and the view was awesome and chirping of birds made the experience even greater Although going to the ghat is tough for tourists as the route is little complicated due to narrow and small roads so local guide is prefferrable . Nearby places are Jagdish temple which is also a main attraction in itself

If you want to do photoshoot here i recommend come early morning around 6-7, surroundings feels fresh and not very much crowded apart from senior citizens visiting and feeding the pigeons and if you just want to feel good and to sit by the lake on the Ghat the evening time after Sunset is Best and eye catchy when the city lights can be seen beautiful lake palace jagmandir and hotel lights on front of the ghat.

Built in granite and marble, City Palace complex is worth admiring for its perfect blend of Medieval, European and Chinese architecture. You should definitely hire a tour guide if you are interested in the history and want to learn about the palace. You should atleast spend 3-4 hours in the palace to see the entire palace. They also have amazing cafe and shopping stores for royal collection. Don't forget to take a boat ride and see the palace from different angle.

Amazing place. You can take two type of ticket there. 1.For outside ticket for the fort.(30rupees) 2.inside ticket. (300). You need 1-2 hour to explore if you go with outside ticket. And if you go with inside ticket you need 4-5 hour to explore. Place was amazing. Must visit.

A mesmerising palace with great work done in details. This palace is magestic and the splendor is so great that I got lost in time. The entrance is from 2 sides and the ticket costs Rs 330 (entry ticket + access to all spots in the palace). This does not include the ticket for the crystal room. (Which is waste of time and money unless you are true enthusiast of glass work). Viewing the palace will take 2hrs of your time so plan accordingly.

Ganagur Ghat is one of the prominent and ancient ghat of Udaipur. It is situated on banks of Lake Pichola just near the Museum Bagore ki Haveli. It is very quite and calming place and a nice location for taking view of the Pichola Lake and seeing City Palace from distance. It is only half a KM ahead of Jagdeesh Temple and in the way to Ambrai Ghat. So one must take a halt here on his visit to Udaipur.

Excellent place to hang out with your beloved ones. And feel calm & peace.. Note : Road to the ghat is very congested (thin road). Don't bring your own 4 wheelers to this ghat. Instead use auto/2 wheeler..

Has a beautiful view of the Lake Pichola. Its usually crowded in the evening but you can enjoy a calming sunset nevertheless. Will recommend going by two-wheeler or auto as the roads leading here are very narrow. Couldn't try but some recommend visiting here in the morning while taking a walk around the Lake Pichola.

Stunning views is the only way to describe this. Close proximity from the city. Only downside are the roads which are in terrible shape. But don't miss this place for anything. A photographers paradise.

Chill place to spend lazy evenings, not overrun by tourists. Perfect to end your day in Udaipur and, sitting on the ghats as the sun sets. It gets prettier as the evening progresses with the lights switching on. Later into the evening, One can watch a traditional show at Bangore ki Haveli (tickets will have to be booked in advance though) and end the night with dinner on one of the many to rooftop restaurants in the area offering spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding locality

A very serene place full of peace you can enjoy dawn a dusk. Sunrise and sunset sitting at ghat and listen to rajasthan folk music played by locals around. You will also see bunch of people feeding flock of bird. Picture perfect place.

A nice place to enjoy the sunset and lake view. The front isn't the most scenic but it's alright. The Ghat itself isn't too big. A decent experience overall.

The view is amazing at night, you can feel peaceful with your friends and the edge of water can drop your feet in water and you will feel relaxed. Gangour ghat is famous for night time views because the light of the hotels is reflected by water that makes amazing views . There are no ticket requirements .

The Gangour ghat is at the end of lal ghat road surrounded by a museum and loads of food stalls. A good place for photography and to see sunset. The place has a lot of pigeons and vendors that sell bird food for visitors, also locals come here a lot. The place is mostly crowded so not a spot for calm sitting. The floor is mostly wet and pigeon poop is all over. The water here is not that clean, just the view is fine. Parking is not great, tourists better rent a Activa and explore for ease of parking. Just visit for a breath of fresh air with a pichola lake view and a calm evening.

So chaotic yet aesthetic. Must visit place in udaipur. I especially love to watch the sunset here. It's like someone painting in the sky. I felt so calm to be here.

It's very beautiful place to visit, the view from here of Lake Pichola is beautiful. Here, you can also feeds pigeons and also one thing I will recommend is please don't harm and distrub pigeons while they are eating also don't try to fly them otherwise the Gangaur Ghat gaud will shout on you.

Auspicious ghat, sunset view is amazing, Lighting across the canal gives amazing vibes in the evening. However it lacks cleanliness due to large footfall and limited seating capacity for elderly to enjoy.

I had a great experience visiting Gangour Ghat. Got to see a lot of people of different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. Bagore ki Haveli next to it is a cherry on the top. We saw Gangour Ghat in the morning, in the evening and also at night. The experience in all three times was different. A must visit place in Udaipur. Lake pichola looks surreal when viewed from here. And city lights flickered so beautifully.
