Evening dance show is the prime attraction here. Since it gives you a real feel of Rajasthan & it’s diverse culture & tradition, I suggest not to miss it. However, there are a lot of loopholes as well, let’s discuss here below: 1. Only offline way to collect tickets, which will be distributed from the counter sharp 5:30pm. However, you have be in the queue almost 30 mins before to ensure you are able to make it else you will get next show tickets. 2. Since the show begins at 7, you have to be in the another queue that lets you enter in at 6:30pm. Hence, manage your timings well and keep something to eat especially if with kids. 3. I noticed, a family bought tickets with us for next show that starts at 8 pm but they were allowed to sit in an early show of 7pm. Corruption in India is so common. 4. You should reach early to get the proper seats, else you will end up watching just glimpses of the entire show as the seating is spread all over the terrace however, there are pillars, trees to block your view. +ves: 1. Well trained dancers & musicians. Totally worth watching 2. Ticket price of 100/- is a nominal charge for the show displayed 3. Show starts sharp as per mentioned timings and there are no delays. I recommend.

This haveli event is a must visit to see the cultural dance and music show they have in the evenings. They have parking available, however, on the peak days it might be full. They show many cultural types of dance and the videos are attached. They have food items available outside so you can enjoy that. You have to wait for 8-9 show if the show for 7-8 is booked. For the show, come 15-20 minutes before the start time to be early in the line and have better seat to enjoy the show. They have enough seating available for you to enjoy. Visit this place and enjoy the culture.

Went to watch and experience the great katputli dance. The entire show was fantastic. Experienced for the first time as a tourist. Children enjoyed the show as well. Well organised and very talented artists. Tickets for the show can only be booked ( as per the communication in the of Oct 2023) starting from 5:30 PM, no advance or web booking. If you reach 1 hour before then also you will get the tickets unless it’s a busy weekend or a school tour.

4 stars for the cultural program in the evening at Bagore ki Haveli. The music was great, dancing was good too, one artist was exceptional but the others could not match her in dancing. The Kalbeliya performance was underwhelming. The courtyard was jam packed so it was better to arrive early to get seats near the performance area. Overall not to miss the experience if you hadn't experienced Rajasthani music and dance.

At first Don’t miss the Cultural Programme by DHAROHAR hosted by Mr & Mrs Dixit and Hosted by Yashu Dixit at 7-8PM daily. It’s totally worth watching and ticket price is just ₹100. I also read the reviews about this show and went to watch this show and believe me it was totally amazing and more than Paisa Wasool show. This Haveli is almost same like other old architecture in Rajasthan obviously with different different history. And same old things. Just as it is maintained by government so not that well maintained but okay. Things were same as you have seen in other museums.

If you want to see the haveli and the museum only there will not be that long waiting time but if you want to see the cultural presentation show then you need to wait for an hour to get the ticket. Two shows they do in a day. But from 5pm you have to stand in queue to book the tickets. They present three to four kinds of dances from different districts of Rajasthan that includes the national heritage one, "Kalbeliyaa dance". Overall it's a good representation.

This is a place near Gangaur ghat, where folk dance and music is arranged daily in the evening. It is an old Haveli converted into the cultural center. The folk music and dances performed are very good and give you a glimpse of traditions. The tickets are limited, so you have to buy it at around 5.30 pm for 7.00 pm timing. But, after buying tickets, you can spend your time at nearby Gangaur ghat, which is also a beautiful place.

Beautiful place to spend evening with your closed ones. Its situated along Pichola lake (if I'm not wrong) and that makes the view even better. I spend evening there and the landscapes were amazing to witness. Also the dance and puppet show was there ( paid show ). You can enjoy proper traditional folk music and dance show here.

We visited this place for the puppet and traditional dance show, we were NOT disappointed. Ours was the first show (apparently there are more in a day - as when we were coming out, there were huge crowds waiting outside). In our show too, the seating area was completely packed and almost one third of the crowd were foreigners equally enjoying themselves.

Any art lover would love to explore the Bagore ki Haveli for its splendid architecture and skillful craftsmanship. Reflecting the Mewar’s aristocratic culture, Bagore ki Haveli is a marvellous assortment of huge courtyards, balconies, jharokhas, decorative archways, cupolas and a fountain. With around 138 rooms, the interiors of the Haveli are decorated with exceptional mirror work. The walls of the Haveli are adorned beautifully with alluring glasswork and mural paintings. One can see various rooms used by the royal family that are worth admiring for its finest craftsmanship. The Chambers of the Royal Ladies is one place that is worth visiting for its renowned glass windows that are colored beautifully. It houses two peacocks made with coloured glass mosaic that are exceptionally crafted.

If you are in Udaipur and you don't see the cultural program at Bagore ki Haveli, your Udaipur trip is incomplete! It's a MUST! Get a ticket in advance, probably online, or go and grab the ticket at 5pm or though the hotel you are staying. Everyday the show runs 7-8pm and sometimes an extra one 8-9pm if peak season. It's group of traditional folk artists, who performs songs and showcase some beautiful provincial dances from different parts of Rajasthan. It filled our heart with joy and pride that we belong to the same motherland where such artists are born!😊 Kudos to them, generally in maximum cases these practices are age old tradition, they carry forward the art and culture generation by generation. But slowly these days the youngsters are looking for alternatives so it's getting difficult to keep the tradition alive. Government / NGO, should come forward with many more platforms, let the technology help them, showcases their talent to every nook and corner of the world! Pls attend the cultural event. It's once in a lifetime memory. Well managed place. Restroom facilities are there.

Enjoy Dharohar dance show there, which generally takes place from 7 to 8 in the evenings. Summer and winter time is different, so check before visiting. Go there at least one hour before the time and book your tickets. Else, you may lose the chance. Sometimes they organize two shows in the peak visiting months. This traditional dance and puppet show is a must visit if you are in Udaipur. Do check out various stuff on sale after the show.

पधारो म्हारे देस 🙏✨ I recently visited Bagore ki Haveli in Udaipur and I must say it was a delightful experience. The haveli, which is located on the banks of Lake Pichola, is a stunning architectural marvel that has been well-preserved and maintained over the years. The museum inside the haveli is a treasure trove of cultural artifacts and exhibits that provide a fascinating glimpse into the rich history and heritage of Udaipur. The displays are well-organized and informative, and the audio guide is a great addition that enhances the overall experience. But what truly sets Bagore ki Haveli apart is its live cultural performances that take place in the evening. From traditional Rajasthani dances and puppet shows to musical performances, the shows are a true celebration of the region's cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The performers are skilled and passionate, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Overall, Bagore ki Haveli is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Udaipur. It's a wonderful blend of history, culture, and entertainment that leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended!🌟🌟🌟 Pics : Twitter

Came to see their traditional dance show, the courtyard of the museum was nicely decorated. It is better to come earlier as the place gets crowded very quickly. The performance itself was ok although they could've done a better show (it looked more like a volunteer school performance rather than a professional dance show). The tickets were pretty inexpensive (when bought directly at the museum) so overall, quite a good value for money.

This is place is so good and specially if you want to know about Rajasthan's folk music and dance. It was the highlight of our udaipur trip and one of the best things I had ever seen. The kaal beliya dance that I had seen was so magical. The girl dancing on it was so elegant, graceful and so beautiful that she won all of our hearts. Her moves, eyes, smile everything was perfect and she really is a baap girl. And I forgot to shoot her video because I was so much fascinated by her performance. Anyone going to visit udaipur should really see the night show at bagore ki haveli.

The Bagore Ki Haveli is a former townhouse and royal residence that is now a museum focused on Rajasthani culture. A few of the rooms have been restored as they would’ve been used by the royals of Merwar with information about the rooms, functions and activities. Some of the exhibitions are just a quirky like the exhibition dedicated to a Rajasthani style wedding or if you like turbans, then there’s another dedicated to Rajasthani turbans with descriptions of the styles. Diverting, interesting and some of the exhibits are quirky.

Once the show starts you will get lost in it. Wasn't expecting a folk dance to be that great. Really admire and respect the hardwork of each artist. The way they are still holding up and taking forward the rich culture of Rajasthan is commendable. You won't feel like taking up your phone to record it but would rather prefer to capture it in your eyes forever.A must visit place if your on a trip to Udaipur.

Not worth the ticket and visit! Under construction monument at the moment. Walk to this place from city palace as the road is too crowded from morning to evening!
