Rooms are good. Property is big .there is a lounge in the hotel . Rooms are good but required elevation. Very good place for arrange party and marriage . Catering service is also performed by the hotel. Restaurant and hotels are registered in two different names .

A nice building construction can be seen here with open space. And the staff here is also very cooperative and with friendly nature. I personally like this particular hotel very much because it gives you 5-star experience at a affordable cost .

Founded in 1962 this hotel is one of the legendary property in Udaipur. It Is situated centrally and about 3 one from the railway station. It is a budget hotel and conviniently niently placed in the centre of the city. However the upkeep of the room is not that great as you will find the paints to be dull, linen pale white, furnitures in Old style and toilet with old touch. Some may not like it but one should also consider that fact that it is a legendry property which is more than 50 year old. WiFi is free and the check in time is 11 pm and one can get room only if it is available. i found the employees to be friendly and cooperative. During my stay at the peak tourist season in Udaipur i found lot of families staying in the hotel which comes in group. Old City of Udaipur and major tourist destinations are very close and one can walk down to places and markets. Overall a good hotel at budget price in a range if 2000 - 3000Rs.Booking can be done online too and they offer very cheap price on goibibo.

I went to a party at alka hotel Shastri circle, I was very impressed with the service and ambiance The food was delicious and starter's were testy I recommend this place for family functions and birthday parties This was my second visit to this property Their rooms are also nice and cozy

This is a very very good hotel. I stayed here. The arrangements, behaviour, rooms are excellent. All the staffs are very co-operative. Well situated. Specially Mukeshji and other front desk members and housekeeping incharges are excellent.

All basic needs are take care of in this hotel. Connectivity is good. Best part about this hotel is a) Hospitality b) Due consideration for the guest's comfort even after we had checked out. c) right intentions to guide their guest to plan a best trip in and around udaipur d) Breakfast had variety and tasted like home made. Altogether had a good experiance there.

The staff throughout the alka hotel are very friendly and the wonderful breakfast will set you up for the day ahead. I had dinner in the bar each evening and the choice and standard of the food served are both excellent. I'm looking forward to going back. Lovely stay,great room

Exorbitant prices including tax but no receipt will be provided for the same. Complimentary breakfast menu is a mix of Poha, Parota or Poori with continental and it's good. Hotel is mostly used for wedding or other celebrations and guests are usually provided accommodation here. Rooms are not clean or rather not well maintained. However, all the amenities provided in the room works. For some reason the rooms feel very very very cold when compared to outside temperature. Room service staff are very friendly and the language barrier is very evident if you don't know hindi but still service is done with a smile. Location is good but right in front of the hotel there is a huge junk yard where lot of Pig's have team meeting. Hotel entry can be easily missed but once you enter the hotel it opens into a huge building with elevator facility.

A laid back type hotel. Need to enhance to keep up with the competition. Few of the reception folks were very attentive and understand what customer satisfaction is. Good spacious rooms. Need to have automated room heaters. We enjoyed the stay.

GREAT STAY!!! A perfect hotel for a family stay, the staff was extremely cooperative and willing to help namely, Chirag the general manager who was very prompt in responding to all our questions and was a great help throughout our stay... the food was amazing in particular the Indian delicasies that had a very homely and typical taste to them, the rooms were also just as we wanted them to be, neat, clean and modern...all in all the hotel gave a very homely feel, it is perfect if you are looking for a perfect place that is not too heavy on the pocket!!
