Really a place to visit in Udaipur....fantastic...It's very near to Sajjangarh palace. Person visiting Sajjangarh palace must also visit this place. My suggestion for the visitors are... (1) visit this place preferably in winter season. (2) don't hire electric vehicles provided there...instead go by walk to get real enjoyment I'm lucky that I had the thrilling experience to have the glimpse of tiger, lion, hyena etc in open air....I really really enjoyed this place 😊

Gulab Bagh (Sajjan Niwas Garden) is the largest garden in Udaipur. Spread over 100 acres, the garden proudly displays innumerable species of roses, from which it also gets its name. part of gulab bagh.

Must visit place in udaipur. Visiting the zoological park was an absolute delight! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the diverse array of animals. The park's layout was thoughtfully designed, allowing me to navigate effortlessly and explore various habitats. I was deeply impressed by the dedication of the staff, who were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about the animals they care for. The enclosures were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for the animals. One of the highlights was the educational aspect of the park. I learned so much about different species, their habitats, and the importance of conservation efforts. The interactive sessions and guided tours were engaging and informative, making the experience both fun and educational, especially for children. The park's commitment to conservation and animal welfare was evident, and it left a lasting impression on me. I was also pleased to see the emphasis on environmental sustainability, with eco-friendly initiatives throughout the park. Additionally, the amenities and facilities were top-notch, from clean restrooms to various food options. The overall ambiance was pleasant, making it a perfect family-friendly destination. In summary, the zoological park provided a memorable and enriching experience. I left with a newfound appreciation for wildlife and a deep respect for the dedicated team behind this wonderful facility. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an educational, enjoyable, and eco-conscious day out.

Limited area, limited animals but still a good place for kids to enhance their knowledge about wild animals. Electric vehicle ferri is available but cost is very higher for small families.

There is only a park , zoo is not active now. Toy train is available here to ride full zoo area. But train condition is worst. Tickey cost Rs.20 Waste of time. Better to visit other places in Udaipur to save your time. Avoid this place.

The best part about the park are the battery powered golf carts that take you around various enclosures in approx. 45 mins. You can hire your own cart for around 400 rupees or share a cart with others at approx. 50 rupees a head. Walking it up is also an option for those who like it, but with over 5 kms of walk paths, it did not seem an attractive option for us with our toddler. The enclosures seemed spacious and they had a good variety of animals and birds. My kid enjoyed looking at Ostriches, Emus, Wolves, Tigers, Turtles, Porcupines and a wide range of deer. A word of caution about the staff at the ticketing counter who will give you a not-so-memorable customer experience, like most other Indian govt. employees. Also the golf cart drivers can be irritating at times with unnecessary honking.
