The dome on top of the Chowmukha was added to commemorate the 1999-2000 millennium & is known as the Millennium Dome. In the center of the Zenana Mahal there is an open courtyard named Lakshmi Chowk.

The Zenana Mahal of City Palace Udaipur is situate on the lake Pichola.
