If you just want a boat riding there will be cheaper offers outside of the palace but this one will drop you on one of the palace in the lake. The price is 500 plus 30 during the day or 800 plus 30 during the sunset. We enjoyed this boat ride, we would suggest to site on the right side of the boat you will enjoy better views in general unless you really want to see the hotel really closely you should sit on the left side of the boat

People at the point try to cheat to earn money. Like luring customers to click photos & then quoting high prices. Guides take u to places of their interest not your. They r not guides they r misguides.

Avoid visiting during weekdays as there can be less tourists and one may have to wait for all seats to fill for boat ride.

Lake Pichola, situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over the last few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur city.

Udaipur lake boating was, without a doubt, the best thing we experienced during our trip to this enchanting city. The views from the boat were nothing short of breathtaking. Gliding across the serene waters of Lake Pichola, we were treated to an array of picturesque sights that truly captured the essence of Udaipur's beauty. The calm waters mirrored the grandeur of the surrounding architecture, creating a mesmerizing reflection of the City Palace and other palatial structures that line the lake's edge. The boat ride allowed us to see Udaipur from a different perspective, and we were awe-struck by the city's rich heritage and architectural wonders. We cannot recommend this experience enough. If you visit Udaipur, make sure to include lake boating in your itinerary. It's an unforgettable journey that immerses you in the city's charm and offers a unique opportunity to appreciate its beauty from a whole new angle. Whether you are a nature lover, a history enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Udaipur lake boating is an absolute must-do activity.

This boat boarding point is used for the guest visiting to the Jag Mandir Palace and Taj Lake Palace. From this boarding point boats goes to these two points only. The rate for boating is 500Rs per person till 5pm and after 5pm its 800Rs per person. The rates are high but it has access to the Jag Mandir Palace where you can spend time and enjoy the royalty.
