Over the July holidays my young family visited Kampala and found Pearl Apartments to be a lovely place to stay. UNTIL in the late of night we were burgled by their staff ... Credit to the police for handling the situation as best they could. But to Pearl Apartments who paid nothing more than lip service to our plight regrettably I am sorely disappointed! Not only were all our holiday plans delayed but they made my husband jump through many hoops had my son give countless statements now months after the fact they are still just saying that they are working on our insurance claim ... And this we only get after they've been quiet for weeks on end. The reality being that despite their alleged honesty and uprightness they're probably just hope that we get tired of asking for updates. I wouldnt even be surprised if they've received the insurance money and then kept it to themselves along with the money of the goods stolen from us! Personally I will never stay there again. And anyone who values their right to privacy and the security of their families should rather look elsewhere.
