This place is strictly for eating fish , do not expect fancy food settings. You can also pick the fish you want from a variety of fresh fish for them to cook for you in whatever form you like your fish.

It’s the best fresh fish plug around Kampala, and you can either have fresh boiled fish or deep fried fish 😊

Place is nice, they give a huge fried fish at a cheaper price, something like 10$ (35000 UGX) But you can also get a big fish enough for one person for only 6$(20,000 Ugandan Money) There is parking but please come with a friend the fish is too big for one person, it comes with French fries and fried sweet potato 🍠

Most fish markets around UG have that foul smell but around here, hygiene is top notch! The area is also busy almost 24/7

Good affordable fish but the service isn't the best nor the sitting arrangement. It would be much better if they could season or marinate the fish abit

Has the freshest, cheapest, yummiest fish around munyonyo. Still ma favorite fish place. The fish is more tasty and the place has been refurbished looks nicer with more space to sit.

It is a great place for recreation. There are many people exercising skills of marketing and hospitality whether formal or informal. The lake view is super nice. And sailing with the guys who make alot of fun as they make cheering voices and music on the boats is absolutely pleasing.

It's an outdoor space, with some restrictions serving fish. Okay fish is in plenty in all sizes and very fresh , well cooked. I wish they could add some recreational activities. And make use of the beach.

It's like a food hub with fish being the biggest meal served since it is by the lake.there many bars and sitting points with music and the view of the lake. It's crowded over the weekends though the food is good..

Fresh fish fry straight from the lake Victoria. Fresh breezes and amazing sight of beautiful natural scenes made my visit worth the time.

The place is calm and peaceful on a Saturday morning. Residents are busy in their day to day businesses and chores. The place is somewhat clean something unusual of a fish market and landing site. The road that takes you is the very one that brings back from there. No branch of ways or shortcuts.🙈🙈 As of 27.08.23

Great fresh deep fried tilapia served with fries and cut tomatoes and chopped onions. We have lunch there - Never Give up - yes that is the store name, last shop of the street. Shafic the manager was very helpful and patient with us "tourists". We had 2 different fish sizes, 25000 and 35000 Ush size. The fish are big, such that my wife and I shared one of the larger fish and pack home the smaller fish plus leftover of the larger one. Our friend - a young man - couldn't finish his large fish either.

Went there to visit the beach, which was dirty with a lot of plastic and garbage around. We took a boat tour with agreement on the price, but later the boy increased the price stopping the boat in the lake until we paid (however not expensive). Not the best experience.

One of the busy places with a local african market vibe. The difference between mulungo fish market and the rest if the markets in Uganda though, is that the place has yummy food (Fish) as it's main root being prepared by the local community members of Mulungo

  • 5/5 Jessica N. 1 year ago on Google

It's known for a local experience of enjoying uganda fish in a designated easy setting. It's a must try place for lake fish lovers though you must be conscious about hygiene.

😠 I was very disappointed with my visit to the Market. The prices were too high for the quality of the products. Most of the vegetables were not fresh and some were even rotten(avocado).
