It's a cheap and economical hotel where you get room for a day at around Rs 500 so if you just plan to put your luggage and stay for an hour or 3 then you may go for this place. Please do not expect any amenities though they will give you toilet soap and towel. This place is more like a PG or a budget motel. So do not expect lift. Also it is some how inside and around 1 KM far from the temple though there is also a short cut but the path is a bit dirty.

Tried this hotel cum guest house for second time but this time we were totally disappointed with this place. No cleanliness, no room service, arrogant staff. It was complete disappointment from mahakal sagar guest house. They didn't provide water to drink in rooms. Didn't have a water cooler too. Mosquitoes everywhere in rooms and bathrooms. We had 3 rooms booked and this review is for all the rooms. A/C also running on pre set mode. If you set 28 degrees temperature it has same airflow and cooling and if you set 16 degrees temperature then also it has same airflow and cooling. Remote was provided to fool us. There were couple of lizards 🦎 in the room too.

This is guest house located near to temple only, but keep in mind its an guest house only don’t make much expectations.

Hotel was not at all good. No cleaning of room and washroom. Washroom was unhygienic. No room service. Not advised to stay here.

Location is good,as it's near the temple. However,the blankets given were stinky and the room itself was itself was foul smelling.

First of all this is not a hotel., It's a guest house. Secondly the maintenance of room and washrooms is nil, they don't maintain at all. The rooms are dirty, bathroom are the dirtiest. Water is leaking from the tap. The bathroom is so small that if you are bathing in it then your hands will be touching the side walls and the water that you bathe will be falling inside the bath bucket. The tap of the basin is not working, when I asked them to repair it they just said the plumber is coming but he never came in my period of stay, the mirror has never been cleaned and after saying also they didn't cleaned it. I would have given less than 1 star is it would have been possible. We just got in the trap of staying here just because of its proximity to the Mahakal temple. And they charge too high, actually all the hotels or guest houses charge high here in this place. And the money they charge for the rooms is not worth it. And when we talk about the service, there is no service. You have to bring your water in the bottle from the water cooler that's place outside the guest house. I will never suggest it to anyone. Didn't liked it👎
