If you are die hard non vegetarian do try Shahi Darbar. Great variety of non veg food. However, the tandoori roti is not good in taste.

One of the best non veg restaurants in ujjain. They have decent place and good service. Price is also reasonable.

I have visited this place twice and it was just amazing. The taste was mesmerizing and the ambience was also good. I have order chicken kepsa rice and murg musalam which was so tasty. Later I order soup which was also yummy and after some time we order this full fish which was mouth watering and chicken dum Biryani was also good ❤️❤️❤️ and later for sweet we order firni which was also good in taste. So as per order every food was so yummy 😋🤤.....

Food wise this place is great, no bad thing to say about that. Service wise I will rate it 2 out of 5 as during rush hours the waiters mess up your order and also due to this mishap the food was served to us after about 30 mins. The ambiance is top-notch, but the staff is not so friendly, and is sometimes rude. The only good thing this restaurant offers is food option and ambiance, other than that in all other factors not so much.

Most TASTELESS FOOD IN UJJAIN. The moment we had garlic naan and butter roti, we could make out that they are using very CHEAP OIL which they are mentioning as Butter. Butter has a Taste. SHAHI DARBAR IS TASTELESS. They are just maintaining the premises to showcase and fool clients. NEVER VISIT

I had a wonderful dining experience at Shahi Darbar in Ujjain. The Chicken Lababdar and Chicken Tandoori were absolutely delicious, and the food quality exceeded my expectations. The service was top-notch, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better meal. I wholeheartedly give Shahi Darbar a 5 out of 5 rating. Fabulous experience... Quality and taste of the food was on top specially starters. Best hotel if you wish to eat mughalai dishes. Love the mughal interior. Food rates were reasonable. Serving service was good too. You will not regret dine in here.

As the name states, it's not "Shahi" at all. The service is poor, they serve in broken utensils, head staff is unprofessional. No proper service. Starters are good. Main course is not even satisfactory. They don't even have finger bowls. They serve condiments after the completion of the dish. If you're traveling from Indore or somewhere else, it's not worth.

Taste is good. A lot of options available for chicken. Service is little slow. Good ambience Manager is not at all courteous, He won't let you sit your desired table. Even if restaurant was not crowded and you traveled 180km just to eat in their restaurant.

People need to understand, with Atmosphere and ambience, you can attract a customer once but to keep your customers you need to feed their test buds, and this is actually a case here. The atmosphere is perfect but the food is tasteless ! On our first visit we ordered the starters, now to our chicken and mutton kabab, they were served in sizzler bowls which makes a very good presentation but the cold sauce on them which is not adding any taste to it made it awful. The soup we ordered was Good and finally we need to order packed ice cream to finish our dinner as we were not sure to buy other things from the menu. Speaking my heart, I won't visit until I hear a positive review from one of my friends. To Shahi Darbar Team : please concentrate on taste, as a nonveg lover , I would like to have more options in my city, you have a huge setup and thus can potentially be a big player in the place as well.

After hearing lots of good reviews of this place we ordered some dishes and our experience was not bad. Their tandoor chicken, chicken burra and chicken makhlai was really nice. The only 2 things I was disappointed was their chicken dum biryani which not good and chicken pieces as well was not tasting good, definitely their is a scope of improvement here. The second thing was quantity/portion size could have been little more. Overall good experience but if you are biryani lover then not place for you.

Best place for non veg. Very few choices in veg but the taste overall is really good. A place where you can enjoy food with your family.

We had Murg Malai Tikka, chicken lollipop and Chicken Hakka Noodles in starter and trust me you will love the food here. In main course we ordered Tandoori Butter chicken with assorted breads and it was just yum. If you are looking for a restaurant in Ujjain with good non veg food, reasonable prices and decent serve size, this is the place to go for.

The ambience is amazing. The food is so so. I went with family and 50% of the items had good taste. The crispy corn is amazing, while the panner chilly and veg biryani were not that good. The ice browny was also average.
