I arrived here my first day in Mongolia and despite I could not afford the room, the staff at the lobby was very helpful and friendly letting me charge my phone and helping me finding a more affordable place to stay. They were friendly and polite, so if in the future I save up a little bit I might come back, thanks a lot!

We chose to stay in this "conventional" hotel based on raving reviews, and we were so pleased about the choice! The front desk team is professional, friendly and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to answer our questions and give travel suggestions and tips, including museums, restaurants and hiking trails... their extra effort made our short stay an absolutely memorable one! The room is spacious and very comfortable, a great value for what you pay. The hotel is away from the town center, but it is close to the River and the hills, and the hotel restaurant serves good food all day along. If you like to stay out of jammed town center and would love to close to river walk and hiking hills, we recommend this place without hesitation!

Currently Summer here with a little rain. Room has working air conditioning. Water pressure is excellent. Restaurant and bar food and drink good quality ( huge portions) and very good prices. Do not underestimate the location with regard to commuting from/to the airport. Its a clear 30 minutes or so. In town the traffic is very very difficult, for other hotels you have to add a lot of time to your journey

An overall excellent experience with Ibis Styles Ulanbataar with exceptional customer service from Zaya and Mara. Booking a suite for 4 nights before our flight home was a welcome retreat after visiting family in the countryside. The breakfast was a winner each morning and the accommodation was stylish, modern and comfortable. The price was more expensive than other hotels in Ulaanbaatar and to be honest a little overpriced, although I’m a firm believer in that ‘you get what you pay for’ especially after staying a single night in another nearby hotel that was quite dirty and a much less than desirable experience.

Ibis in Ulaanbataar was my home for exactly 2 months. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love hanging out at the 6th floor every evening for some drinks and coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Ulaanbataar. Cheers.

Just had a two night stay and hardly any sleep as a large metal plate in the road on my room's side of the hotel had constant traffic running over it 24/7.

I know the hotel has luxurious rooms. And i shops in the first floor is good too. I saw few Japanese products in there. The price was bit expensive but it’s Japan products 😁

I stayed at the hotel 2 months ago for 10 days. Welcoming staff and they are very polite. They try their level best to help the guests despite sometimes not all the staff can speak English fluently. The rooms are spacious. Room service Top!!

I just adored the whole service. It is amazing, different and unique in itself. The hosts are super nice and kind. I spent an awesome weekend. You could feel as if you're back home. Comfortable room and calm/quiet location. Thank you Ibis ❤️ Hope to come soon again.

Fairly new hotel with nice service. Colorful and clean. Staff very helpful. Always a greeting from reception as you pass, nice. Rooms are large, nice walk-in shower, desk a bit small though. Nice fitness area, good equipment. Sauna really nice also. Breakfast was OK, (probably the only negative in this review) restaurant and bar service is better. Patio area nice to have a meal or a drink. A very nice IBIS.

12 story building located on main road leading into city. Rooms are modern, clean, and we'll maintained. Bathrooms are big with shower taking up half its room... It's almost too big, but water worked well: good pressure and temperatures always available. Rooms are hot with temperature control not reliable. I stayed in early October and kept window open (if you can stand the stench of the air) to keep room cool. I stayed for 2 weeks on business and ate at the hotel's restaurant for breakfast and most suppers. Breakfast is free with reasonable variety catered to foreigners: eggs, meat variety, cereals, rice, salads, etc. Supper meals includes a few local choices (not enough in my opinion) plus Korean, Chinese, and North American. Serving staff know limited English but enough to make it work. Mongolian restaurant service is lacking compared to other places, but I wouldn't consider it a fault; it's just different. They don't check on you if things are ok, don't bring the bill, and tend to ignore you in general. They're polite, helpful, and nice. Hotel coffee was awful and I couldn't pinpoint why, so I got coffee in Cafe located opposite lobby on first floor - it was much better. Cafes and some shopping within a 20 minute walking radius, and it's safe to walk if you're mindful of the chaotic, aggressive cars.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Staff are great, very helpful and courteous. Dulguun on the front desk was brilliant. An asset to any hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and airy. Wifi is decent (free) throughout the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Nothing too special, but more than satisfactory. The fitness room (gym) was a little under equipped, but it did the job. You're right next to the misheel expo centre and so there's a lane of about 10 restaurants there literally 1 minute from the hotel, so it's nicely situated and relatively close to the airport. However.... If you are here as a tourist, and you're looking to spend time in the centre, I am struggling to recommend this hotel purely because of the location. Ulaanbaatar has the WORST traffic I've ever experienced (64 countries and counting). It's worse than Delhi, Manhattan, Moscow, Lusaka, you name it. It literally took an hour to drive a 1-2km. The heart of the city is from a tourist point of view is the area around the shangrila / peace street / Gobi Cashmere etc... and this is at least an hour if not more in a taxi. They have UB cabs which is their equivalent of uber but it's poor, plus it literally would take a taxi 30 minutes to get to you, so better to just hitch hike on the street if you need, or walk. Most of the time we walked the 3-4km to the Shangrila area, because the traffic was so bad.

Nice staffs, comfortable beds, meet Accor standards. Not in downtown but if you work at the airport, this hotel is for you. No need to get through terrible traffic. Convenient store downstairs. Supermarket is only 500 meters walk. Walk to the closest mall (opposite the Palace) is 30 minutes.

Had a lunch with friends. Clean and comfortable place with Ok food options. Lunch set had soup, main dish and dessert. Price was 12,900MnT including tax. About $4.6USD which is very affordable and maybe little higher than other places. Service was good other than one issue which was a dirty water tank. Looks like they didn’t wash some of their dishes. View was great. Had plenty of parking lots for free.

The hotel is convenient for the connection to the airport. However, the restaurant and the rooms are not not to be inhabited in the summer. The bar has the music at a volume that prevents you from sleeping. I understand the fun of the bar guests but as a hotel it is not recommended in summer.
