Ming Ang rest stop one of the rest points for hired bus/coaches. It is located along the North South highway. It is a rest stop here for breakfast, coffee and restroom. Passengers will stop on a return trip to Singapore. You will encountered flies and it is common for pests to be around food. The food is compatible pricey as compared to the local outlets. The toilets are definitely required cleaning.

Food is good but be prepared to share your food with the resident Houseflies.

I think there's a reason why "bus" and "flies" are the two common words that appear in reviews. But that aside, the food is actually quite fine (would recommend the Nasi Lemak--the fried chicken is good!), and the place generally decent in cleanliness. It's also conveniently just beside the parking lots for the coaches too. All in all, a welcomed rest stop on the way further north into Malaysia.

On the way to KL for meeting, transit coach bus was delayed an hour, enjoyed the coffee here, not too sweet.

This is a rest stop (for long haul bus) at Yong Peng catering mainly to tourists, for food and toilet break. Food was ok. There is a phone shop selling Sim data plan. Nice clean and cooling place to take a break.

one of the best 烧包, always had this at Johor near KSL. chicken pie (curry)are surprisingly good. the crumble on top add sweetness on the spicy of chicken. Recommend both. Pandan milk pastry milky and crumble.

The cost of food n beverages reasonable as compared to SG more than space to sit n have your breakfast/lunch (yet to experience dinner) unfortunately no vegetarian food

    1) Chicken chop sour and disgusting. 2) Alot of flies rest on top of burgers and flies in the food. Not cheap and dont expect cleanliness in Malaysia.

You’re not going here to have a culinary experience. You’re here because you need a bathroom break and maybe grab some snacks. The grocery takes credit card, but the food stalls don’t. Toilet is okay, typical and maybe even better than most bus pitstop toilet.

I arrived here because I was on a coach bus from Singapore to KL. Busses stop here for whatever. The food is mediocre at best but at least pipping hot. A bit overpriced and many CASH ONLY. I advice you not to eat here unless you 3 days never eat. My bowl had a fly in it.

The food is… at best just edible but still very expensive for mamak-ish food. Priced definitely for the Singaporeans coming in to eat on their way in to JB KL.

Spacious rest stop. Great for that coach rides up and overall has everything you'll need for a rest stop. Food, drinks , souvenirs are all here. Not a place that I'll go and seek out but thankful for existing.

Just a basic rest stop for people travelling, to have toilet breaks, some food and maybe get some local products. Nothing really special as place is pretty run down. Food court is spacious but limited amount of heavy food. The price of the fishball noodles has raised a lot over the years (12rm+) and gotten pretty bland. Tried the hotplate beside instead and got a nice meal of hotplate horfun at only 10.60rm which was more worth it, and the chicken meat was quite tender too. Lots of houseflies swarming around so be careful if you leave your food unattended!

Bought freshly made chicken siew bao. Food stalls are not open post mco. Buses have not return to this food stop.

Honestly just a rest stop and to buy some goodies back as gifts. Place has way too many flies to enjoy your food in peace.

The freshly baked egg tart and chat siew bao were divine and to die for.... Never would I ever have thought that bus stops would have such good food.

Not the kind of restaurant stop that's photo-worthy. However, it's convenient for bus travellers plying the Malaysian highway across states or between Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. For lunch, there are burgers, snack shops, beverage stalls, Chinese noodles or rice hotplate dishes as well as Malay dishes. Unfortunately food choices are limited to a single stretch. Tourists can buy local biscuits and other Malaysian snacks as souvenirs. The famed egg tarts and baked goodies are not bad, though one has to queue up if there are many travellers.
