Naam bade, darshan bohot chhote! Such a disappointing stay that we shortened our 2-night stay to 1-night. In the room, you'll find hair, balls of dust, fingerprints on all glass fixtures, dirty kettles, dirty bathrooms, and various insects. Oh, and a cigarette butt from a previous guest. Room also had a paan/coffee stain on the wall. Asked reception to send room-service while we went for lunch and they did a very poor job of cleaning the room. After some time, dad went and complained at reception which finally made them take some action and send people who cleaned properly. All in all, it took three different cleans to get the room to standard. Food is VERY pricey! Lunch buffet was 1500 + taxes. The Hyatt in Kolkata has a similar price point. Amaya is just taking advantage of the fact that there aren't any options around except an Azad Hind Dhaba just opposite. We said we'd go Al a carte for lunch and the staff tried to persuade us to go for buffet by saying "al a carte will take minimum 40-45mins". WHATTTT?!?! We stayed with our decision and surprisingly one of the items arrived within 10mins and the entire order was on our table within 25mins. Let's do some math here. Lunch buffet for 4pax - 1500*4 + taxes = around 7k We instead had al a carte lunch AND drinks + in-room dining for dinner. Cost was ~6.8k. There are better places to go outside of Kolkata. Please don't waste your petrol and money to go to Amaya.

We had booked 5 rooms well in advance with 4 small children (all under 4Y). Upon booking, only a hefty amount was charged and nothing was communicated about non availability of any basic or special services. The hotel property is gorgeous with all basic amenities. However the service by the entire team is so bad that it cannot be described in words. Food at the hotel was below average in taste while they charge 5 star prices for the same. Breakfast buffet area was so small and conjested that you couldn’t move from one table to another. Other guests are made to sit in your table while you’re still eating because they have no space at all. Some of the food items at the buffet were literally inedible. All hotels in the country provide kids portion meals free on cost upon request. They firstly denied saying they’re overbooked. Then upon repeated request at the time of check in they agreed to do it. However when we actually called for the food, they made like a zillion excuses of how it can’t be done. They denied us basic room service like sending cutlery to eat food. You also cannot order anything from the in room dining menu apart from what is served in the buffet meal. Whatever you order for in room dining is served from the buffet meal and they charge you a bomb for it (even if you’ve already paid for the buffet food in your package). The golf carts inside the property whose job is to take you around denies straight to your face even when you’re checking out and carrying luggage. When all this was conveyed to the hotel authorities, they wanted to make up for it all by giving us a “complimentary lunch”. All in all, it was an aweful experience. Don’t recommend this to anyone. Go there only if you need a nice room to stay in. That’s all!

You would definitely loved the interior of the place. They are really slow in terms of service and I found it expensive , which reflects on its menu card. Cold tea, did not follow cooking instructions and slow in service. Hope them to rectify the same soonest.

Had come with high hopes & expectations right from the very beginning if the stay issues kept on arising due to mismanagement, untidiness, lizards in the room etc. Make sure you book when the property is occupied or else no one is going attend you. Less staff and many other problems. Honestly not worth even 1 star. Request the property people to check on it. Charges are too high and service too bad.

The Amaya Resort is the definition of “Looks can be quite deceiving”. This resort only has a 4-star sign to it and nothing else. The property is definitely nicely done and takes up a large area with tons of greenery but the service is terrible. The food quality is quite average and takes a million hours to arrive/get prepared. Plus they charge a huge amount of gst which is probably not even legal.And for the quality of the rooms, the charge is humongous and the bathrooms are filled with stains and both the rooms and bathrooms look quite badly maintained. The thing i find most unacceptable is the exorbitant amount of money that they are profiting off this property, even with such bad service and maintenance. I regret coming here and will never recommend anybody to do the same. Attaching some images of the extremely low quality room and bathroom.

Rooms are spacious, service was exceptional. All helpers were courteous and quick to respond. Pool water and cleaning system needs to be upgraded. Dining experience and waiters were helpful and attentive. Rajeshwar and other team members are always smiling and eager to assist. Overall great experience!! Specially with kids.

Check in to the resort could be better. We reached early to the resort say 12.00 pm. We had to wait more than 1-1.5 hours before the rooms could be alloted. Till then our luggage was miserably stacked in the parking area. We asked the people to get them in but nothing was done. It is overly priced when games and activities are concerned. I mean which resort or a place charges for trampoline in the kids play area?? All activities are overly priced. Food and staff is absolutely nice. Cleanliness is also great. Rooms are big and spacious. Overall a nice place for a day's outing.

The only positive I could find about this place is that the lawns are beautiful. Swimming Pool is quite dirty with things floating around. The extremely poor service makes this place uninhabitable. I had to call 4-6 times to get anything done. They were not able to make a tea in the morning as per instructions. Breakfast spread is very sad/limited. Their staff kept arguing when their mistakes were pointed out. Basically, hospitality is missing. It felt like they have given up on this property.

Not fit for one star also. One of the worse resort. The chef Mr Brijish is the best part . Lunch and dinner buffet menu 50% same. When you ask the chef why so ? His answer was chicken will remain chicken only he can't convert it to duck. This answer shows the quality of staff this place has. Never try the buffet here coz lunch and dinner items also same which means stale food.

Went for a marriage... Very beautiful venue. One of the best bridal entrances ever seen, event team is to be given credit for it but also the hotels infrastructure which made it possible. The bride came on a boat across the lake/pond present in the middle of the resort. All Facilities were present inside the resort. One thing to keep in mind is to carry ypur own cigarettes if you're a smoker since there's no way you'll find big cigarettes in or around the resort.

It was overall a nice experience and well maintained property. Suggestions where they can improve - change the towels occasionally as they look dirty, there should be options of bathtubs and smoking rooms. The breakfast spread had limited options with average quality food. On the hopeful side; we loved the property, mandir is a treat to the eyes, beautifully made real gardening and flowers. Gaming zone had lots of options and pretty nice to explore. In short not VFM but a must try !

This Resort is well connected 45 kilometres from the city of joy. Atmosphere are very good polution free fresh air good for health and food was wondering and room was specious they achieve my expectations..

Swimming pool attached rooms are fantastic, food quality is poor and highly overpriced considering the property. A plate of simple plain rice ll cost you Rs 400. It's always better to eat outside, ajad hind dhaba just opposite the road is a good option

The overall experience about the services is horrendous. I have visited on 02.10.2023, for which I tried to catch up with them however phone since morning and came accross with one deboshree, who spoke in a very unprofessional way but finally agreed for a call back but surprisingly she switched off the phone no. Subsequently through another no I could again managed to reach her when she gave me the no of the sales manager named souvik Basu. Please note they have a dayout plan for which they change 2000/- for food per person with prior booking. Now when I started calling the said souvik Basu the no kept ringing for several times but the sales man don't bother to pick the phone. Further when I tried again and again then the call was on waiting, may be the sales man speaks with his girlfriend for hours together, however, there was no call back. The food pricing are on the higher side and the quality of the food is very moderate. Rooms are avarage not well maintained specially bathroom.

I liked the way it's made. They have a lovely pool with rooms connected. They have games, gym and spa. The food at the restaurant was also very nice. I am sure this place is going to be a good weekend getaway.

This place is near Uluberia NH6 highway. The property is still under construction and does not accept individual bookings as of now. It only accepts corporate bulk bookings more than 100 people. We went there for our annual office meet. The property is nice , rooms are decent and clean the staff is also courteous which was very important to us. We stayed there for 2 days. The food was also good. Can recommend this place for corporate bookings.

In a single word, it's beautiful. Perfect place for a destination wedding just outskirts of town. Hardly 2hours drive from Kolkata and you're here, a beautifully decorated resort in the middle of the green. Has enough big auditorium for a function, plenty of well decorated rooms are there for all of your guests. Everything is well suited with the natural vibe. Has enough big open ground for functions. If you're thinking about a peaceful day out of the city, just make a plan to come over here.

It was a great time and a comfortable place for a team outing. What I heard is that, the place is still being transitioned to a full fledged Holiday Inn resort and will be completely open to public probably at the end of the year. The accomodation and use of space is of high quality. Each room opens out (ground floor) on to the inner lawn area with a lot of greenery and the upper floor to a balcony sit out. The service is professional and they were very helpful. The food is also of good quality both the buffet and a la carte. They serve vegetarian and non vegetarian food and a variety of cuisine. They have a very large banquet hall, two board rooms, a large foyer area outside the banquet hall, good for exhibits, meals etc. A pool and a gym being set up will probably add to the facilities. The facility has 'toto' services, a battery operated vehicle to help you get around the place.

A great place, however faced an issue with the fish they had provide, the fish was not fresh but other items are top in class

The place is fantastic - great ambience. The only problem is that they have an overpriced Buffet and the spread is really meager, very few non veg options, taste is not great either. Breakfast was as ordinary as BnBs and they had no non veg option. A kind staff got a few sausages!

Beautiful property with spacious rooms. The staff are really helpful and friendly and would help you with anything and everything. There are electric tuk tuks inside the compound to take you to your rooms and around the property. This being my second visit i have enjoyed staying here thoroughly. The best part is the food is amazing unlike other holiday inn properties. Also the location of the property is not that far from kolkata. The only problem i found was there are no shops around the property to go and buy cigarettes. So make sure you have enough with you to last your stay.

Amazing hospitality offered! Staff was very warm and welcoming, never left a moment to complain. The hotel still isn't fully constructed, but most of it is in running condition. The location is very quite and a welcome respite from the hubbub of the city. The room service menu could definitely add a lot more options, as it's very limited. All in all, an excellent stay!

Rooms are spacious and the property is clean BUT food is not good at all and very expensive ( not worth the amount at all). Room services are pathetic to say the least...they took more an hour to bring a glass of milk for my 2 year old and charged 200 for that.. A lot of the gaming/outdoor activities should have been free for on house guests...overall not worth for the hole it does in your pocket

Positives: A large layout of greenery and good walking space for a retreat. The pool was clean and well maintained. The restaurant and the service staff were exemplary. Negatives: The rooms were ill maintained and mouldy. Caused a trigger of allergy for my family. The good point is that they immediately changed the room, which was a little less mouldy.

The resort is very beautiful but the location is in a out area were you can't get any convince if you want to go somewhere after evening time. If you have private car then it's fine but personally i didn't find anything good except than the resort.. No malls, no parks, no near by restaurants available in this locality.

The Indian food is great too) and it’s absolutely beautiful too! Splendid place for a nice getaway or just for a fun and memorable time <33 Only problem is that there’s quite a few mosquitoes and flies so just be careful and take your mosquitoes patches or repellent with you and be safe! I saw some neon green bug or something in my chips I brought from home so yeah please be careful of insects! This is a nice resort if you are here to relax and spend time lounging around. We took rooms that had access to the pool directly and they were well maintained. The service here is super slow, so plan well in advance if you want to order room service or even at the restaurant. It is about an hour’s drive from the city, but keep in mind that Ola does not operate in the area, so you have to rely on Uber (which is a hit or miss) or pre-book your ride for coming back. The resort does not book cabs for you.

Asked to provide swimming pools towels which we get after asking diff diff person for approx 1 hr late. 2. Who came to resort to just stay in room and go to restaurant. They are not allowing foods just outside the restaurant to enjoy food above the stars. There coverup was" itna acha restaurant banaye hai ku aapko bahar baitna hai" Plz tell them people came in resort to enjoy nature beauty, not to sit in restaurant. 3. There theme of hookah is " hookah in the stars" but they will allow hookah only in ur rooms, nowhere else. 4. Toto service was available all inside the resort but toto driver doesnt stop when asked for. 5.

Stayed here on the 6th of Feb for 2 nights . The Hotel is pretty average and the upkeep has been bad. The rooms and service are ordinary considering the ratings of the place. The food I must say is good. But would definitely not recommend the hotel to anyone I know.

I recently visited Amaya resort and had an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the menu had a great selection of dishes to choose from. I ordered the and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the portion size was just right. I also appreciated that the restaurant uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Well mantained rooms. Decent and helpful staffs. Pool access rooms are the most in demand rooms. No bathtubs in most of the rooms except for suites. Spa, games room and activities are also available here
